OK Just lost my post... UGH... going to be (another) long day...
What I was thinking was, I need to start WORKING IT Sooner - rather than later... I had another day yesterday - of being tired - cranly - not enough water - fell asleep too early - the awake during the night... need to break this vicious circle!!
I was also thinking Gabrielle, must be heading out soon... to the airport for a very early flight East! Safe travels to you today ♥ and {{{hugs}}} to you and Ty and Caitlin... congrats to her as she graduates this week too! We know you have "work-work" to do on the plane...so good luck to you with that as well!
I must give credit where credit is due... (my) Kaitlin was very good about the work yesterday! I know... SURPRISE!! LOL She did say (on the phone a couple of times) that she was busier than usual - due to being out for 10 days, but she truly did leave the "drama" out of it! FOr that I am grateful!
Now let me see if I can catch up ♥

Good Morning ~ was up and awake much later than I wanted to be last night but up and at 'em today! I tracked in MFP so we will see if any losses result from keeping this going...took a walk yesterday - sun was out but windy and cold. But the SUN was out! lol
Need to refresh coffee and see yesterday's posts...

Site is being truly WONKY this morning....
Christine: YAY for seeing progress in MFP, seeing the healthier choices, adding tuna is always a good thing! OF COURSE DM would be the "winner" of the bag! LOL Glad you all had fun anyway... Sorry for the frustrations of those applications sitting out there! Hope you were able to stay out of DL's line if fire and you were able to have that GOOD DAY!
Yes, Jaclyn's "Father" was quite the "ladies man" back in his day! LOL Seems there are several "halves" out there... she struck out when she tried contacting one several years ago - but the fact that this one found her, makes her happy. They have been in touch for a couple of months, so meeting was the next step! He has a wife and children and a grandchild!
Yes, find some cute dresses to add to your summer wardrobe!
Gabrielle: Saw the pics on FB - HAIL!? Made me sad to see - how did the fruit trees fare?? We are looking sunny and warm today - perfect weather for stretching the liner into place!! Yes, a LOT of HOT summer days to warm the pool water up - but, having it filled and ready is half the battle!
LOL Birkenstock's are "right up there" with TEVAs and flip flops as not allowed at the bank... I WILL be looking for some comfy supportive shoes/sandals soon though!
Lisa: How is DH making out? I missed the post about arthritis? Hoping he can get past it and be able to walk soon!
Jenny: I agree... a "girls weekend" is NOT about what guy you can text and ignore the girls! OY VEY! LOL Yes, yard work isn't always easy and fun - but worth it in the end! Oh the pool will hopefully be up and filled and running today... we have used the fire truck/pump/tankers ever since the first year of putting it in... just a "perk" of DH being in the department for so many years!
Shelly: OH NO... Kaitlin's time off was 1 bereavement day - 5 vacation days and 1 sick day... well that's what I assume it was... leaving early that Thursday was probably sick time? Maybe? No clue!
I was able to work on my General Ledgers yesterday - got them up to date! YAY!
UGH I have been doing TERRIBLE with snacks... and wine... need to regroup soon!
That pool sounds interesting! We have always used the brook across the road... we dam it up - then put the FD big pump in there... and run hoses... not easy work but it gets the job done!
Hey GF the Disney trip is not your mess... don't worry about what the kids do and don't do... sorry if it affects a payment in your name - but do NOT own their money troubles... nope WDW is not "cheap" in any way... {{{hugs}}} ♥

Carole - good to hear Kaitlyn put her head down and got focused. Whew. lol How was the pool liner? Is it finished? We are in for some cooler temps and clouds here - calling for rains next 10 days so we will see if that really happens - is Ken getting his 'to do' list done? Gabrielle - SAFE Travels today!! I bet you are so excited to see DS and DGF/fiance - and what a great celebration now that she finished Law School!! Looking forward to pictures Sue - you must be crazy busy with Ball Games and Paint Nights! How did last night's turn out? Jenny - never apologize for venting here - I'm so glad we can offer support and help you sort some of this mess out with Siobhan. I know how disappointed you must feel over her choices. Remember: HER choices! ♥ Glad to hear business is steady and busy even with new owners. How is your office turning out? Everyone at my work is a-flutter with excitement for our big move - our school purchased the property and empty Catholic school not far from us. The Catholic sisters who owned it needed to sell and support their community of sisters' retirement - our mission being Montessori matched their mission - DL and our Board landed big loans and financing to buy this - like um, $4 million dollars! I knew our school had $1 million when our former CEO was here but I have no idea how DL landed financing for more - all of it is based on keeping our enrollment up and close to 600 students. Anyways, the 'new' campus was a former college academic building then elementary catholic school - so it's set up with Biology labs, library, and plenty of classrooms. It's a good fit for us. The only thing is, I don't think I'm going with them. I had hoped by now to get a new job SOMEWHERE anywhere! So when teachers excitedly ask me where my new office will be I just smile and say nothing. The Prince and DL have no plan for me to come along so yep, I am suspecting they have a plan to eliminate my job. Trying to stay positive - which is feeling impossible.

Shelly - what an awful way to wake up from a dream!! LOL glad your poor heart settled down - it's an awful feeling of panic when you wake thinking you are late or missed work!! Sounds like your weather is wet and cooler - is that better than hot and dry? I think about you when I see these terrible funnel clouds moving across the country! Hope your parents and DS are all safe - I hope this weekend to get outside in our yard to get moving on some much needed weeding and mulching Lisa - did you get a chance to go for a drive? Yes, MFP is easy to keep Tracking but you do have to remember to use it! lol That's what I keep telling myself - especially since nothing else is working at this phase of my life - glad the daily wrapping of DH's ankle is done - I really hope he can start putting more pressure on that leg. I hope to MOVE it more today - been slacking in the exercise and steps - Hoping everyone's day goes well!!

Morning Carole, Christine and all to come...
Had a great paint night last night with Sarah and a few other "paint buddies" of course! Sarah knew several of them! Will say it was tough but Lacey really took her time to give detailed instructions to get the jars right and or the most part every painting turned out really well! It was a full house....28 people I think, 2 had to cancel last minute! She usually caps the sessions at 30! I'll be hanging mine tonight when I get home...just wanted to make sure all the paint was dry. Memorial Day weekend is my usual switch from spring to summer ones!
Sarah bought one of the frames Lacey makes for hers....she got the brown! I got the white the night I did the bike painting and put my order in for a brown one so I have them both....the frames just make some of them really "pop"!
Got to get moving here.....will see you all after work....will be a crazy hectic day today playing a little catch up from yesterday....had planned on only giving whole blood after my last donation fiasco with double reds but since 0+ blood is in demand right now, they asked me to try again....so I did and not issues but it did take a big chunk out of my day.....almost an hour and a half instead of about 40 minutes start to finish! Oh well, good cause and much needed so today I can get myself back up to speed!
Have a great day all!

Good morning! We did go for our drive after DH's haircut. Went to the drive in where we used to live, and decided to go to put Memorial Day flowers on my parents/grandparents graves which was about 45 minutes further north. Although Memorial Day now is more of a veterans honor day, I remember my mother always wanting to make sure that there were flowers on relative's graves, maybe because she knew there would be a lot of people out at the cemetery? Anyway, we will do DH's family later this week, they are more local.
Sue-glad you had a blast at paint night. I used to give blood but after a certain age, my veins were too hard to get to with the larger needles that the blood bank uses.
Carole-the arthritis part was that before DH's surgery, the dr had said that his ankle was still operable even with a bit of arthritis and would be better to try now than waiting till he might need a total ankle replacement. Who knows, the arthritis may have got worse with all that the foot has gone through. I have to just breathe and take one day at a time and pray for healing.
Gabrielle-safe travels heading out. DD and SIL and Kennedy flew out of Chicago last night to Texas for vacation. Luckily the storm front through here didn't interfere with their flight.
Christine-good job taking a walk. I plan to this afternoon when DH goes to the computer to play his games. I also have to check the yard for more branches...we heard a bit thump on our roof last night and I need to check out our roof. I am learning more about MFP as I use it.
Shelly-sorry you are working all weekend. Bad month for money for me too, need to pay for our trip to Gatlinburg, I ordered some summer clothes, and DH and I both went to the dentist. All bills coming now...ouch! I do have one more extra help check coming next week.
Better get to my coffee, shoes on, and outside to look at our rooftop. Other than my volunteer library book pickups today, no plans. No weekend plans either, but there is always something to do it seems!
Oh, this is off topic, but I wanted to ask: how do you keep track of your passwords for all the different things we have online now? I have mine written down in the back of my pocket calendar, but there has to be a better, safer way in case I lose my purse or it gets stolen...

Evening all. Went to the dentist today for a cleaning. Was really hoping for an all clear checkup but no she found some exposed area I have to go back next week for him to access what he can do save it. Ugh this acid reflux is so hard on oral hygiene. I want to be done with this. I wish I could figure out how to calm this down.
Carole so glad Kaitlin focuses on her work. Glad you got GL caught up. I’m sure your pool water is cold coming from the brook. How long does it usually take to warm up. I e always wanted a pool at the house but DH has always been against it so no pool for me.
Oh yes I know DS and DDIL money problem is theirs but I worry because I can not make that camper payment. I just wish they would make better choices They really should’ve waited for the WDW trip.
Christine sorry to hear you feel your position will be dissolved. I really hope they keep you until you can find something. The school sounds nice and hope you get to move with it.
Oh it’s been nice getting the rain and I kinda like a little cool just not real cold. The think about Oklahoma is it goes from cold to hot summer real quick. I would be happy with 70’s and 80’s I’m not looking forward to the 100’s that are soon to come. This has been an odd year. We usually get rain earlier in the spring but it has all come now. I swear Oklahoma is a bi-polar state LOL!!!!
Sue I loved your painting. You did a good job!!! It turned out really nice. I think we have a blood drive coming up and I haven’t donated in a long time because of my iron levels but I may try again and see if I’m good.
Lisa glad you was able to go out for your drive. I was in town and completely forgot about going and getting flowers for DMIL grave. I hope to be able to get some before Monday. Oh I worry about money so much. Oh time for me to pay beginning of month bills again. I think part of my problem is I missed paying some early and then had to many have to come out of second check. Ugh why do I do that.
Sue sorry you had a long day. Hope you get some much needed sleep tonight.
Time to Get to bed. See all soon.
