116 oz of water - tea - seltzer, so I hit my goal yesterday! WOO HOO For Thirsty Thursday!!! I also got more steps, not my 6k but MORE as we did shop. My Fit Bit may not "register" my walking in the grocery store - but I know I did it! LOL
I also had NO Diet Coke yesterday - but did have a margarita with dinner!
Sue: Saw the cute pics of Jackson - heading to 1st grade!! Gosh it's hard to believe...
WOW You do have a lot going on at work too! WHEW Glad the Amy stuff is pretty much cleaned up and ready to hand over to NH! Too bad Sherry is out soon but... you'll handle it fine!!
Deb is out today and next week, so I have her morning work - shouldn't be too bad... didn't get to my ATM at ALL yesterday, so hoping I can get to it today!
Oh O look forward to fresh strawberries... usually mid-later June around here! How do you freeze them? I try freezing them for my shakes, but they freeze in such a clump I can't separate them to use!!
UGH... I don't "like" yogurt enough to make my own! LOL Good luck!
Hope you got to speak with Hannah and the kids... I am sure the boys were pretty happy to have them home!
Lisa: Hope you got your car in and it wasn't a huge deal/bill! Personally I prefer the fresh air - but I know many cannot live without the AC!
Thanks - yes DH thinks it will settle and be vacuumed out - as well as filtering it... I am sure it's not as bad as I think - but I still just didn't want to deal with one more thing!! They are going to finish filling it today (hopefully) and then he can get it running...
ON a good note though - yesterday they didn't get it filled, so he had time to work on another "project" I haven't been out to see it - but he apparently got the "walkway" around the hot tub (almost) done... so that will be nice!
Oops... sorry they didn't find the leak...hoping it doesn't get too warm until next week!
Shelly: Been thinking of you - and the weather... glad you and your store were both out of the "danger zone"... how scary!
Oh yeah - no - I would never want to do a schedule for workers! UGH! I remember at the pizza house how rough it was for my sister!
Oh Shelly - I had a donut... yesterday, BEFORE going out to dinner... where I overate... hadn't had lunch - so was very hungry by the time we hit Applebee's! NEVER GOOD!
I bought a dozen Crispy Cream donuts - kids fundraiser... sounded like a good idea at the time! So I had 1 yesterday AND I had 1 this morning... LOL Hoping the girls are here today and each have one...
Should have paid for them and then had her "donate" them to one of the homeless "panhandlers" in town! Oh well... they should be gone tomorrow...
I guess one of the shorter end pieces, the metal that holds all the walls in place had broken... it would have been 1 16' piece of metal, but that whole end of the pool would have had to been dug out and the walls taken off, to repair... this way, they only had to remove 4 wall pieces and use the lumber for the support instead of the metal... yes we saves the money... but (of course) I wonder if this is a good fix? Or will it only last a year or so and we will be back in this same boat again>
You know me - always looking at the doom and gloom - instead of the positive side - that it got fixed, and not another $1300.00 invested!
LOL Yes, IF you get a pool - be sure it comes with a "pool boy" to do the maintenance! I have always said if I won the lottery - I'd have a pool boy, a landscaper and a carpenter all on retainer... to come and be here daily if need be! LOL
Sorry to say I have no idea what our average temps are! I know it hasn't been nearly warm enough for me yet... I will have ot listen to what my weather guy has to say for average. I know we are not nearly as hot as you... we are probably more like average of 80-90? Maybe? during the summer.
I see some sunshine trying to break through this morning - but it is breezy out there... I see the trees moving... meaning I wear a sweater again today!
