$7.24 per week for three months. This is a 50% savings. Okay, sorry for the confusion. I got a three month deal for $29.98/month this time when I joined. If they are offering a membership at $7.24/week for three months, that comes out to over $31/month if my calculations are correct (weekly fee times 52, then divided by 12 to get monthly cost). They do these promotions all the time.Ā Not really much of a bargain at all, just yet another come-on email from WW. So much for them reaching out to LT members and giving them something special. This was taken from their website today---gotta love the highlighted text (my highlighting---what other category would someone joining fall into??): "Offer Terms: Save 50% when you purchase select weight loss membership plans by 5/25/19 (11:59pm EST). Plans auto-renew at the end of the applicable plan period, and you will be charged monthly thereafter at the standard monthly fee until you cancel. Offer available to new and rejoining members only. Early termination fees may apply. For Workshop + Digital (formerly Meetings): Available in participating areas only." www.weightwatchers.com/us/?Haha I guess they want to exclude the mysterious third category of those that aren't new and also have never joined before! No soup for you!

This was taken from their website today---gotta love the highlighted text (my highlighting---what other category would someone joining fall into??) You, for example. Members who are currently on the hook paying often try to take advantage of better multi-month deals. I tried that myself at one time. It wonāt work. You can get it all set up, but the minute you answer that you have an existing username and want to use it and are asked to log in, then you are informed that you canāt take advantage of the offer. For a long time when I was paying for monthly pass, I had to wait until the current membership expired and then sign up for whatever ādealā was available. It was aggravating because the expiration always took place on the morning of my meeting at about 8:15 AM so I had to delay leaving for my meeting in order to sign up for the new deal and be valid for that dayās meeting check-in. ETA: However, someone with a current, active paid membership CAN take advantage of a deal IF they create a new login/username and start a new account. That wouldnāt be an issue these days, but when the old message boards existed none of us wanted to give up our established identities.

You got me there, lol! Since any "deal" signup slides into a full-boat membership as soon as the deal period expires I could just wait for the expiration, cancel my membership, then grab the deal. There was a time when you couldn't do that---they had little blurbs at the bottom of the offers that said you couldn't take advantage of offer if you had been a member in the last __________ days. I don't know, with the desperation factor at WW, do they still do that? Wasn't it not so long ago that people who were canceling their memberships were being offered several months for free if they rejoined?

Wasn't it not so long ago that people who were canceling their memberships were being offered several months for free if they rejoined? They havenāt restricted people from taking current offers for quite a while. But the key is that when your last month of your current deal starts you have to cancel, not wait until the end. Because they auto-bill about 14 days in advance and you end up extended a month which, then, makes you ineligible for any deals until THAT month expires without auto-renew. I got quite practiced with this and did it for several years. But when I got Medicare and chose Blue Shield as my medigap policy, BS had one of those deals with WW and I got a monthly discounted rate of $39.99 so thatās what I paid until I reclaimed free Lifetime.

Hi Nancy sorry I am just now seeing this.
Your best bet is to call 800-651-6000 and let them know you are returning LifeTime and ask if they have any good specials going on. Unfortunately they are no longer letting LifeTime over-goal members return for $14.95 a month but some of their other options are working out to be great deals. Good luck!

DebDoesWW, guess I am fortunate to have switched to the $14.95 per month rate for Lifetime members. Now, if I can just get back to goal.......

Hey Priscilla! I deleted your post because we are a public forum and I didn't want your full name and email address out there. Your best bet is to call 1-800 -651-6000 and speak with them directly š Absolutely santex that's why I kept stressing for LT to call and get that rate locked in at the time, you just never know what they are going to do next.

Benny if you are still at goal and have a meeting you are able to return to then you should be able to return for just the cost of a missed meeting.
You can always call 800-651-6000 or message them on FB! Good luck š¤ Make sure to tell them you are - returning lifetime at goal.
