Ann, we waited until the rain stopped and Bob is now walking the dog. It may occur again today but grocery shopping was not too bad and we only went to two stores. Great produce buys. Blackberries were 99 cents a carton so I bought 6. I also bought some raspberries, cantaloupe for $2 each and Bob added cherries, apricots and plums to the cart. I only bought low calorie vegetables especially salad fixings. Wild caught swordfish was on sale so we bought enough for two meals and added other lean meat. I caved and told him to grill a tri tip tomorrow. I will weigh my portion and we will have low calorie sides and salad. Tuesday is roast chicken and Wednesday we will have one of the swordfish meals. We are having Norwegian salmon tonight so one meat meal won't hurt me as much as large portions, desserts and alcohol. I already tracked breakfast on Lose It and put in today's weight.

Joining in with the willing to be willing and aware glasses in place. KOKO will be key. Aiming for blue as I track every bite, get in my liquids, and up my steps.
The turkey is thawing well and will be ready to roast tomorrow. It’s a small one, but will be delicious.

Cathy Great goals.I'm glad you had a good eating day yesterday.
Susi Thanks.I'm hanging in there.Enjoy your picnic lunch with Carol.
MJ It is 88 degrees here right now.I read that topic online.Wasn't of much interest.Enjoy your painting.
Ann I'm glad you slept well.I'm hanging in there.I took a short walk this morning before it got hot and I had planned to ride the recumbent bike for 30 minutes but my legs didn't want to do more than 20 minutes so I stopped.Hope you enjoyed your hood walk. You did well only gaining .2 from yesterday. That's a nice gift.Enjoy your chicken BBQ tomorrow.
MJ LOL on the ice cream.I am glad Kenneth isn't crazy about ice cream.
Audrey I'm jealous of your 99 cent blackberries. They are never that cheap here.I like raspberries better but of course they are never on sale either. You will get that weight off in no time.
Pam Great goals.

Audrey you are most definitely the shopping queen of bargains. With what you chose to buy. you'll have your gain off in no time.
Pam great goals for today.
Becky happy you listened to your body and quit after the 20 minute ride. It's so important to not push.
We will wait awhile before walking LuLa. It's just way to hot out there. I hope to at least break 10K steps but we shall see.

Just letting all know I will be out till Thursday.
Everything electronic is bothering my good eye. This is my first time to venture on-line today.
DD comes in tomorrow, Tuesday we leave for Houston, Wednesday I see the doc, and Thursday I should be home and recouping.
Stay safe. Right eye is doing good.

Actually, this week’s topic was great —— just totally misnamed. There are definitely BRIEF times when we need to focus on maintenance - vacations, stress, illness, etc. Learning to stay the course rather than totally throw in the towel is a significant skill. If your coach didn’t approach it that way, she was off base herself (or himself!)

There are definitely BRIEF times when we need to focus on maintenance - vacations, stress, illness, etc. Learning to stay the course rather than totally throw in the towel is a significant skill. If your coach didn’t approach it that way, she was off base herself (or himself!) The article from which the weekly is derived is posted on the weigh-in thread on the General board (5/19-5/25). WW wants members to change their status to Healthy Habits (AKA Maintenance), to NOT try to lose weight, and to CELEBRATE staying the same (while continuing to pay to weigh in/check in every week). There's nothing in the article about how to COPE with any stressors - whether good stress (the party times) or distress (the life challenges). So my coach was following the party line.

I must've missed the memo, LOL.

diva49 I guess that's what WW thinks but I still track every day as I'm sure you and Ann and all of us do. I love your new picture.

I do! I do! Too easy to run amok in the fridge otherwise. Young Marines color guard at the township Support Our Troops Rally 5/22. The Kressling has the American flag.
