Work It Wednesday... HOW Will YOU "work it" today??? I will drink my 100 oz of liquids... did it yesterday - I can do it again today!! I will also TRACK... I tracked yesterday - can do it again today! Tracking Tuesday was NOT "pretty"... except the protein - I was over my protein by 26 and UNDER my carbs by 52! SO OK I need to learn "balance".
I also got extra steps WALKING to the doctor's office... not far (Thank God) but far enough... so I need to work on that as well! EXERCISE... I know, I know... I have known that all along - but I do not "enjoy" it... YET... someday I will!
So there are my goals for today - eat better... track... move...I know, pretty "lofty" goals for someone who has not done any of those things for 2 months! UGH! Back to basics for me too I guess... Limiting sugar - flour - alcohol... OK
Tracker is done for breakfast - lunch - snack - water... will add dinner when I know what it will be, and will tweak my liquids as I go!
Now to pour coffee and catch up!

OK So yes Trackin' Tuesday went OK.. I Mean it was tracked... it wasn't pretty but it was tracked...
Doctor's visit went OK... she agrees I am better but not "right"... wants me to return to PT, and keep the appointment with the surgeon! UGH! Three more weeks... "status quo"... so "good news/bad news"... I will continue to work 6 hour days, get back to PT, remain on the medicine... and see surgeon in 3 weeks! The good news is the pain is gone - well until she makes me do things I do not do daily! LOL I was "hurting" a bit when I got home yesterday...anyway - it is what it is!
Oh and when I got home yesterday I did clean our room! WHEW! I have 1 tote of things to donate... blouses, tops and capris for summer... some are brand new that I have had for YEARS expecting that "next year" will be when I can wear them - nope, not happened yet so they are gone!! I also threw in winter stuff that didn't get worn this past winter, hardly even got unpacked for the winter!
I also got a tote filled to go upstairs that IS winter stuff I wore this year and hope to NOT fit in next year... would love to donate all winter clothes if they were too BIG for me next year!!
Anyway - I do feel good about getting the room straightened up - and had KEN move the totes for me... I am not going back to lifting yet!
SO enough about me...

Good Morning ~ need to Work it this Wednesday! Yesterday was NOT a good day with the Tracker - yikes - went WAY over and did not get my evening walk in although I really should have gone even if it was later...
Cheryl invited me to chat and have an early dinner. Well...not smart on my end as I was 'starving' when I left work to meet her. This led to sharing an appetizer (Spinach Artichoke dip and chips), glass of wine, then ordered another appetizer for dinner. WAY over in my sodium! But at least the appetizers were half price while we were there lol (Applebees)...I got home at 7:00 and was just so tired...exhausted really...looking back I should have gone right up to my room, changed into comfortable clothes, put on my sneakers and GONE FOR A WALK...nope. Headed straight for the couch and TV. Ugh. By 8:30 I was half asleep and it was still light outside! I felt like I wasted daylight....will aim to improve in this area.
Tracked my breakfast and lunch. Figured this Tracking will not make a bit of difference if I don't LOOK at my Tracker throughout the day! So that is my 'next step'...

Christine: LOL Yes, I know... I throw a good party I guess! We are getting a cabinet - it will hold all the things that need to be OUT each time we do a family cook out... I will simply TELL everyone, here's the stuff... I told Ken that next time I will also have a lot out on the counter when they arrive... if they can't put their stuff down - for lack of space - they will know it all needs to be moved out to the patio!
I am not "good" about asking for help... but this year I may have to! Sorry but when you see someone limping - wouldn't that signal "she needs help"?!?
I know, I have to be the one to speak up... or I spend another summer feeling resentful for my family being here!
Gabrielle: YAY to having you back.... we had only 50s yesterday and rain - guess now I know what it's like to live in CA! LOL Sorry - yes we are all sick of it too - and we HAD beautiful weather over the weekend!! Today is supposed to clear again - let's hope!
How nice to have DS25 back home soon... will he stay with you while he interviews and such?? How nice to have him home before Max heads out! {{{hugs}}} to Kaitlyn as she studies to move forward with the Bar Exam!
Oh hey - I ordered a pair of the Vionic sandals last night, saw QVC had a sale! LOL The ones I ordered may just "pass" for work... we'll see. Meanwhile I am also going to look at more Birkenstocks... I heard on the Today show they now have them with "bling", not just the plain suede!
LOL Yes, the "limp" I have is from the weakness in the ankle and toes... so... "status Quo"... oh it seems L5 might be OK, it is L4 that is still "questionable"... I think it boiled down to....
Black Bear... we have them.. we know they are around, just not usually on the patio! Never had trouble when we had the deck... they used to get into our trash on the other side of the house - but we have never had an issue with the trash on this side... anyway... it is most likely a Momma Bear... feeding her cubs... still not anything we want to tangle with - but they are kind of fun to watch... out the window!
She knew she wanted the "garbage", left the paper plates and utensils... guess plastic isn't her thing... when Ken was picking it up - there were no chicken or rib bones to be found... no food of any kind... just the paper and plastic trash left behind! Smart bear! LOL
Sue: Yikes, sorry your back was still bothering you yesterday... next time you go to ball games would a pillow in your lawn chair help? Hope PE went OK... do you have blood work scheduled or is what you get done at work OK and count for that?
UGH I hear you! This coming home mid-day has NOT been good for me! I can't even imagine being YOU these days with so many things going on after work... and weekends... Hang in there GF you can regroup... you've done it before - you can do it again!!
Lisa: Ouch! Sorry for the needed car reapirs... but WOO HOO for Greg to be doing so much better with his foot!!
UGH The pool liner guy is now being a jerk... he won't even come back here until we - let enough water "leak" so he can see where the leak is... I am trying so hard NOT to say "told ya' so"... told DH I did NOT want to deal with this pool - or this guy - but he said ONE MORE TIME... to get us through a few years... so I have to step back - shut my mouth and let him deal with it!!
So by the time it leaks enough to find the source... there goes all the darned water we just put in!!
Oh I hope you had a nice bike ride... bet that de-stresses you!
Oh Sue... oh no... still??? Glad your Dr. report is good... that helps, right?

Carole - You did well last night!!! Proud of you for taking on that chore after work/dr. appt. just as you planned!! AND bonus that you get to see the cleared space those pesky totes were taking up! I started doing the same around our bedroom. I noticed it's become the dumping ground for 'stuff' lately and I'm not liking it. One corner still has all of Carly's things from when we re-decorated her bedroom last year (high school framed pictures, Dance things, tote of shoes) Little by little I'm putting them back in her room LOL Sounds like the PA appointment was decent after all. NOT bad news but yep, stretches and some exercises to build up muscle to support the injured area makes sense. It does help! So what's the latest decision on the pool liner? Made me smile when you said DH is keeping you OUT of the decision as yours would be the most costly lol It's good we can be honest here I'm SO glad you are joining me in Tracking. Not so lonely here in sharing my Tracker...not losing either but it's only been a short while so I'm going to keep moving forward. I don't even recognize myself in pictures and I don't like this extra weight at all. Not that anyone does... Received another rejection letter yesterday. This one from the District I had a great interview with...yep. I suspected as much when I saw a neighboring school district post their school psych position. Which told me the girl from there was suddenly leaving...I suspect she got the job I was going for. I can NOT let this get me down. It's far too exhausting to constantly feel defeated. I can only control my own reactions to all this...so smiling...Fake it till ya Make it!

Lisa - ugh, sorry for the compressor, but WOW you have well over 100,000 miles on your Toyota! I would imagine parts will need replaced - you have been doing some distance driving there - even with all my day trips here and there for contract work I do not come close to that kind of distance driving. Puts it in perspective for me Glad DH had a good day with the foot. Let's hope for more!! Sue - ouch ouch ouch to the back. Did your doctor look at it while you were there? Good to know all was well from your annual physical - don't beat yourself up about being BUSY this last month or so - it was all doing things you enjoy! Gabrielle - wow, that is such exciting news about DS starting to interview in CA for jobs closer to your side of the country Good Luck to Kaitlyn as she prepares for the Bar Exam! If she passes the MA Bar Exam can she practice law any state? I didn't know how that worked. What branch of law does she hope to practice? Sorry all that rain is starting to get wearing...and the colder temps. Really hoping you get better weather soon! Funny, at work, the teachers and the one Dean of Students keep counting down the days for students' last day - I looked at the Dean like, "Why are YOU counting down, we are still here all summer" but she's still in teacher mode thinking she is off all summer. I guess I get irritated that there is so little instruction going on and yes, the kids are getting hyper. Lots of sprinting down the hall, arguments with adults, and a feeling of resignation that "oh well, it's almost summer" but I really think we need to keep focused on some structure here. Still 8 solid days of school left....lol

Mornin' Christine: Ruh Roh - you too?? OH well, it's tracked... we move forward from there!
Oh dear... no Applebee's 1/2 price apps are not good when "starving"... been there, done that! LOL OK Well the good news is you tracked it... and you know what to do differently next time? Plus you had a good visit with your friend??
LOL, "wasted" daylight... gosh I wish I lived closer to you -maybe you and I could convince each other to get out there and MOVE IT!
I'd say that's what I need is a "buddy" but that isn't true... can't blame my laziness on anyone but ME!
Thank you... kinda proud of myself for following through with cleaning... LOL I do still have a box of Halloween and Dining room stuff up there... I guess I didn't know where to put it when decluttering the downstairs??
Yes, that's why I agree with more PT... unless I have someone telling me what to do - I will not do it... so off to PT I shall go!
As you probably read - no decision on pool liner yet... I am not happy... as now we also need to start running the pool filter - buying chemicals all the while not knowing if we need to replace the liver again - which will mean the loss of most of this water. LOL Yes, my choice would definitely be the most costly... unless it's the liner and we have to pay him again to install a replacement??
HA! Yup, will follow your lead with tracking (finally) and share here... trust me you do NOT want to see yesterday's! LOL
Today: B: Coffee, cottage cheese, watermelon S: Almonds, Seltzer L: Salad w/ HB eggs
During the day I will also drink my 2 mugs of hot tea... and will drink this 22 oz bottle of water. That will put me at 94 oz and I always have more water before bed!
Oh Hun - this past 2 months I have gained about 10#! THAT HURTS! Literally - I am so angry at myself... my work pants are "tight", some of my tops are snug across my tummy... so mad, and sad and ashamed all at the same time... so yeah, LET'S DO THIS!
Aw, sorry for the rejection - must be so difficult to deal with... {{{hugs}}}, but OK, so the neighboring school district now has a position open? Are you applying?
Oy Vey... does that Dean of Students FORGET that she has been promoted and has to work all year?!??

I heard over the weekend that the Trust Position will start interviews this week - not sure how SHE "knows" when I hadn't heard anything... maybe a sign! Maybe a rumor... who knows... If I see someone today I may ask!
OK Need to get moving... just heard the weather will NOT be as warm as earlier expected... so dressing for fall again today! Maybe I shouldn't have toted up my winter stuff yet! UGH!
Make it a great WORK IT WEDNESDAY Ladies ♥hugs♥

MMS....like yesterday, back is a little better this morning but full day ahead. Depending on the weather and my back I hope to see Kellen's game tonight....but if my back feels like yesterday I'm not sitting in a lawn chair to watch. I might be cancelled anyway, strong storms are coming after lunch through early evening and his game starts at 6:00pm right as they are supposed to be winding down!
Need to get this day started!

Good morning!
Today is a DOR from the TM....and I think that I need it. I was so tired and slept pretty hard...kind of wish that I had gotten up even to only walk on the TM as today is a lot of sitting in the car driving from place to place...including driving to NV tonight to visit schools all day tomorrow. I am glad that I have company--our Director of Personnel Services. She is a great, upbeat person so it will be good. I DID track yesterday (thank you to encouragement from Carole and Christine)...and it was an okay day. I wasn't feeling so great first thing in the morning so that affected my eating. I am using my WW app though (not MFP for now). Hope to be back on my 10 Day Fix with a vengence starting next week when I have 10 days to be at home! Wow, lots of travel over the past two months...
Carole: Well, sounds like PT (in person) will be a good option and glad that you still have the appt with the surgeon in 3 weeks. I also like that you are not hurting! So glad that you found some Vionic shoes! Hey, have you tried on Birkenstocks? The shoes that I am recommending are kind of "cushy" ---Vionics are sort of that way too. Birkenstocks are not cushy at all, but mold really well to your feet and that is what (I think) makes them so comfortable. They are actually very firm with cork in the soles. Good job decluttering--it keeps your mind off the pool liner, LOL. Yep, let DH deal with it. So, thinking about your tracking yesterday...how did you feel? Did you feel full? I am wondering if you might want to try higher protein and less carbs? I notice that I feel better when I focus on that. Just a thought! I hope that you get info on an interview for that position at the bank soon. And sunshine! We are supposed to have sunshine today and a high of 60 degrees...then rain/thunder tomorrow....grrr.... Hope that you have a good day and can get a walk in like you did yesterday!

Christine: I have had evenings like the one you described yesterday...it's hard when you are starving! Would Cheryl consider meeting you for a walk one day? Maybe that would be a good way to "start" your meal together? Just a thought.... So sorry about the rejection, but glad that they sent a letter. I was concerned that they wouldn't take the time to do that. I do wonder about the "charter" thing and how important it might be for you to point out your experience and how it would support ANY school....it's so hard to know! Hang in there, my friend. I remember being at a school site and being aware of the days left as the mood just kind of changed on site once the kids were gone...we dressed a bit more casually and we could focus more on projects. It might be different at your school! So DS25's GF is taking a course through Harvard to study and take the CA Bar in late July. California (OF COURSE) does not "accept" the Bar exam for MA (which works for about 35 states). She has to prepare with additional information and take it here in Sacramento. She is working at a College Trust non-profit as a legal counsel/legal analyst (contracts, etc) but she LOVES policy. I can see her working at the Capital one day or with an organization that has legislative ties. So happy that they are moving back! Max signed up for his classes on Monday and we are now focused on the residence hunt. We had to wait as most places won't let you sign a lease months in advance. Hope that you have a good day, my friend!
Sue: Oh man...hope that the back is slowly getting better for you. So sorry about this!
Lisa: Uggh to car repairs. I have noticed that, once I hit 100K, that is when the "bigger" things start. It is usually worth it to replace them though...and you NEED A/C. You are right! Glad that you got your bike ride in and that the older brace seemed to work for DH.
Shelly: I hope that you are okay...last night we had a News Alert about a mile-wide tornado in OK.....a mile wide!! I looked up your town on the map and it didn't seem to be close, but hope that you and all of your family are okay.
Okay, time to go. Have a good day. Not sure if I will post tonight from NV....but hope to tomorrow morning. We have sun today so I am happy! I plan to track again....see you all later.

There will be no game for me tonight! Feel like I’ve been hit by a bus!!
Got my 2nd Shingles shot yesterday and I forgot how crappy it made me feel last time! I’m struggling just to keep going right now! UGH! So glad I’m done after this one!

Good evening! Kind of out of sorts now because wedding invites are in mail and I just had a long phone call with an upset bride about how she is paying for everything, Jon eats the food she buys for her lunch, etc. I told her to talk to the groom but try not to yell. And I told her that I would rather lose the money on the venue than have see you divorced in 6 months if it's that bad. I think I need a glass of wine!
I went to the dermatologist and had several large moles on my back frozen off. Or they will flake off I guess. Mostly for MOB dress but also swimsuit, etc. Relatively painless.
Sorry to vent! I need to do my tracking for today. More storms coming tonight possibly.
Gotta fold laundry, try to get back later for personals.

Evening all....I was in such a mood last night and once again exhausted I just didn’t even get here. Plus more bad weather in the state and had family around where it was I just kept an eye on the TV in hopes the family was all ok. When DH came home he seemed in a mood himself. Guess it was just a day.
I can’t remember if I mentioned anything about our new fuel pumps but we have been having issues with them every since we got them back in March. This weekend was the worst. They came back out yesterday to see what the issue is and I hope they finally got it fixed. We shall see. Every time the come out if works for a few days then back to the same thing. Ugh so frustrating
Carole you sound like me always having to do everything for your get together sand everyone else gets to set around and visit. I get so upset and feel left out. I don’t know how to get others to help out without sounding like a total “B”.
Oh no!!! I am so sorry about your pool issues. I would be furious. For all the time and money you have spent it should not be leaking. I hope you get some money back and get it fixed. Glad to hear you are filling better and not hurting like you was. Hopefully it will just take time and no surgery.
Tracking Tuesday...yep you hit the nail on the head...I did not track. Every morning I wake up and think today is the day I’m going to track and be good. Nope just not in me!!! Why oh why do I have to be like that. I just want to lose the weight but tell me I can’t have something and it’s all over.
Christine finally a couple dry days for us here but east of us had sever storms. This has been a crazy stormy May and cool for the normal average. Wow you was busy Monday and the game sounded like fun. Sorry DD Carly was not invited to DBF family picnic but hope she was able to have a good time once you guys got to the game.
Glad you had a day of rest. I know how your body needs that. Good job tracking even if it wasn’t perfect. At least you tracked. I am bad. I wish I was better about tracking. I know it helps and I do better and see results when I do track so tomorrow is another day. Got to get my head in the game. I can not let the stress from work take over like it has been.
Carole how can the salad kits have that much fat in them? Is it the dressing? Maybe you can use your own salad dressing to help lower your fat intake. I still say a salad is better than a greasy hamburger or pizza ect. Oh I do need to get back to the basics with you and Christine Hey I know you can be down 7.2# by the 4th. You got this.
Gabrielle let’s not even talk about the last time I tracked consistently. Got to get back to it. Got a message from DDIL Lezli in NV and she said they have had so much rain. She said they have the cows up closer to home because of all the rain they’ve had. Makes it nice they don’t have to go so far to check on them right now. I’m sure they will be moving them soon. Oh I hear you about the warmer weather. It is definitely late getting here too. Only in the low 70’s today. Usually 80’s by now
Yes my DDIL Vicky (lives here) and the 3 DGK’s are in WDW and having a blast I think. They will get home Sunday sometime I think. I think I worked until about 4 or 4:30 Monday and about 5 or 5:30 yesterday. Today was 6. We are safe but have had a lot of rain. Saturday we had some flash flooding and my house was surrounded by water for a bit. I will have to sit pics on FB. We got 2.5” in a very short amount of time and with already saturated ground it just had no where to go.
Sue hope you are feeling better. I have my 6 month recheck mammogram June 4th I sure hope they can give me an all clear to go back to yearly mammogram I just hate the wondering and stressing along with my work stress just gets to me.
Lisa oh no, sorry about the car issues. I feel the same way, if it’s not one thing it’s another. My issues have been more at work lately though. We have been having issues either with equipment or employees. They are both really getting to me. Sometimes I wish I didn’t work around ppl. Sometimes I wonder where the common since is. Definitely harder to find these days.
Ok now back to today....
