THIRSTY THURSDAY.... I know I still need a "reminder" to kick it up a notch and get my 100 oz of liquids in! OY VEY!! I was doing OK until I ended up running to Subway for a late lunch... and instead of just having the seltzer I had in the car - I got the meal which included Diet Coke!
I had gotten a phone call that PT could fit me in yesterday afternoon so I took the appointment - but that meant I had to find lunch and had to kill 2 hours in town! UGH!!
Glad I went - got a sheet of exercised/stretches to do three times a day... little things that will NOT help me lose weight - and ALL can be done standing at my desk - or my kitchen counter!! I am taking my instruction sheet to work - to make a copy and leave it there... so maybe I will remember to do the darned stretches! I am so "lazy" about remembering to do them!!
So yesterday was a weird day... got my April Month End report done! YAY!! Today I should be able to get a few more ATM days done...we'll see! But then after work - and after PT - I got home to find DD & DH had a meeting last night - right after DH got out of work - so no dinner to cook... thought that's fine - not really hungry anyway... late lunch... but then by 7, I was "grazing"... should have cooked dinner! UGH!
So today I need to make a plan - and stick to it! DH wants macaroni & cheese for supper... so I will make it... with lean ham slices from the freezer... I will add veggies, and a salad with it - not the usual mac & cheese dinner - but it will/can work for me!
I did complete the tracker last night - not good (Again) but tracking... at some point the tracking will lead to better choices, right?? I did get about 80 oz of liquids, but today will be better... already have 22 oz of water - but now need the coffee! LOL
Be back in a bit ♥

SO all in all my WORK IT WEDNESDAY went to Hell in a handbasket!! But it's tracked! LOL
Today I want to have time to make a decent breakfast before heading out!
Sue: I kinda hope Kellen's game was called due to rain - so you could get home and relax that back more!
Gabrielle: ... I am so glad you had a DOR, and you slept well... Hope once you got to NV you were able to get out - maybe get a walk - or run... to stretch out from the car ride and just feel good! When you say NV, are you up in Tahoe area??
YAY for tracking... I love I can "encourage" someone! Thanks... You DEFINITELY have been on the road a LOT - hoping with the end of the school year - that will slow down for you too!
Yup, need to get back to my basics of lower carbs/sugar... more protein - although Day 1 of tracking I blew that right out of the water! LOL Yesterday - not so much... I know when I was following Bright Line (even with little cheats) I felt better... and the protein was helping as were the TONS of veggies! LOL Thanks for the reminder.
We are getting the sunshine... with "chance of showers" pretty much every day for the next 5 days... but "chance" is better than RAIN ALL DAY! SO I need to take advantage of the sun and get out in it!
Thanks - I think the "rumor" of interviews starting is just that... I do not believe anyone will be "left out" of that process... I wonder if Deb was just saying that to "stir the pot" so to speak? She could easily be doing that - while on vacation! Anyway... not worrying about that - enough other things going on to keep my attention!!
Oh my, how difficult THAT must be to search for housing from so far away! Will you maybe take a drive up to OR to check it out in person??
Sue: Oh dear.... darn that shot - but glad you had an "out" from the game... another night of rest won't hurt! I need to re-check on the shingles shots... to see where the heck mine are... no one has called me to let me know anything - might make that a Friday thing! UGH!
Lisa: OH NO! NOW this is coming out? Your poor DD must just be getting a case or pre-wedding jitters... knowing the invites are out - she has to have known this from the start... why is it just bothering her now?? {{{hugs}}} to YOU as you help her deal with it from afar! Oh dear... wish I could offer help from here... hope you enjoyed that glass of wine! Hope you all stayed safe from the latest round of storms! Scary stuff these days!
Shelly: Yes, the storms are scaring a lot of us these days... saw on FB that a relative was hoping family was safe in Ft. Worth! Where we just were... need to check the news to see what's up with that!! Hoping you and your family all stayed safe from them. Sounds like we are still getting rain - UGH ENOUGH ALREADY!
So what's up with your fuel pumps? Is this a major retailer? Like Mobil or Shell or someone? I Hope all of this is "their problem" cost wise - not on the store! Hoping you haven't lost money due to improper pumping or whatever it would be called! I know you all lost out that one day... gosh you'd think they's have it figured out by now!!
Yeah... I am pretty sure my DD and DH are sick of my whining after everyone leaves... not to mention then they feel guilted into helping - DOING - a lot too! IT's just not FUN to plan a family day anymore!! I know we have to have the usual "celebrations" coming up... June 16 - July 17 we have 6 birthday's and 1 anniversary, and July 4th, to "celebrate" here... I will get more organized, and point people in the right direction - I have to for my own sanity and piece of mind! I have asked DH a few questions about the pool - NOT mkaing it my problem/decision... I know he is as frustrated/angry as I am - he just handles it differently than I do... but I have to remind HIM not to alienate/piss off the installer - he is the ONLY one the company will send... we need him... so we can't make him not want to work on it! UGH Such a fine line to NOT cross!!
Well Hun - I can't say tracking will HELP... but I feel like I have to start somewhere... so ya' wanna start with us today?? I know it is not "easy" no app in the world makes it easy to "remember" to even do it!!
Thanks for the vote of confidence... I am aiming for that 7# but the past 2 days aren't helping! Third times a charm... right? So here I am on Day 3!!
Glad DDIL and DGKs are at WDW - and having a blast... how could they not??LOL WOW 2 1/2" of rain sounds like a lot... LOL The rain is NOT helping us figure out the pool either! The rains add water when we are trying to see how low the leak goes!
Sorry you are still stressing over mammo recheck... seems they made you wait quite a while for the re-check!
OH yeah, common sense is NOT easy to "find" these days... how did WE grow up with it and it has been "lost" over the years??
OH dear... state inspectors too? Well, now you know HOW to keep the records that they want. Sorry the stress led to the carbs, WHY do we do that??? Ugh to having to cancel the dentist appointment... that's not right... Oh I totally think surgery is not happening... but I will "take" the time off work - and do PT... it's now more about hte "Strength" (or lack thereof), so I don't think surgery will do anything for that! I do have to say - after PT yesterday - I am feeling it... which is kind of weird... since I didn't think I was really DOING anything... but apparently "working" that calf muscle is something I have NOT been doing the past 2 months! I have been "favoring" it, and compensating elsewhere...

Whoops, getting late here... Mornin' Christine... GOod for you WALKING that 24 minutes!
I am thinking about taking my sneakers and walking before I come home today... let's see where that gets me! Between being lazy and the rain - we'll see if I can do it!
♥hugs♥

Didn't miss the game last night....it got cancelled due to some scary storms! Not sure when it is rescheduled for??
Still feeling like I've been hit by a truck but guessing this will be the turning point...back is improving daily but it's been a long haul!
Sorry been MIA lately....life is just getting the best of me!
On a good note...today is the last day of school so no buses to deal with starting tomorrow! YAY!

Good morning from Minden NV! Happy to say that I am sitting in a chair in the hotel room typing this and the sun is shining on me. At last! I did get out for a short run this morning...but will do something more tomorrow at home. It isn't a great area for running here. Minden is on the other side of a mountain range from Lake Tahoe and we will also drive to Yerington today which is east of here...not so close to Shelly's son though. Yes, lots of pooled water here and we can tell that NV has also had a lot of rain. I slept for 9 hours last night...I was exhausted! I allowed myself to go to sleep at 8:00 rather than making myself do work (which is what I usually do). Hope that I feel more refreshed tonight as a result.
Carole: I am so happy to read that you are taking your shoes and a walk might be in your schedule! That is great news! I can't emphasize enough how great it is if you can find a podcast or something that you like to listen to and some headphones that "sit" on your ears so you can still hear things around you while you walk---it's nice to have something to listen to and it helps the time pass. Just something to consider down the road. Wow, you are braver than I....macaroni and cheese would be hard for me to avoid! I guess that I would prepare some kind of protein to go with it and avoid it all together. Here we have these chicken sausages that are really good and lean...would go with it and Ken would get some more protein too. That's a tough one! The town that I am in (Minden) is about 45 min from Lake Tahoe. You take a pass road over the Kingsbury Grade to get here. It's a totally different biome, more like desert and some fields, but you look up at the mountains and have the beautiful view that way. I kind of like it here.....not sure about living here though. A lot of people from CA are moving to NV as the taxes are much less. I hope that you can find a way to get those stretches in...the PT was smart to make them easy for the work environment. Hope that you have a good day--sorry that you have to hang around for PT, but it would be a great chance to get that walk in.
Sue: Oh man, I though that you already had that 2nd shot! So sorry! You are making me dread it....not enough to chance getting shingles though. Wow, on top of the back pain? So sorry! Hope that you feel better by the end of the day.
Christine: Good job tracking and getting a walk in (no matter how long)--it is the beginning of a habit, right? Good job tracking too...I need to track my dinner and then I will have two days down. Hope that you have a good day today.
Lisa: Oh man....what a tough call to get from DD!! We read all of the time that financial troubles (lack of communication mostly) lead to marital woes and it just plain hard to talk about! I hope that she can find a way to talk to him and let him know how stressed she is....in the meantime, you are hanging...so sorry about that!
Shelly: I am SO glad that you are okay...wow, the pictures of OK are really startling. Hope that the fuel tank issue is finally resolved. So sorry about the inspector...in my job we have auditors and it is so unsettling. I hope that it goes better next time (if it is like the auditors, it depends on the person who comes too). So, forget the gym for a while...maybe just try to take the dog for a walk or something? That might give you the time to decompress from the day and think through your evening. If you start doing that, the dog will come to expect it and make you go. Just an idea. I hope that you have a good day.
Okay, gotta go girls. I will check in tomorrow AM from home. Have a good day!

Well..finally feel like I’m on the mend...back actually didn’t feel too bad when I got home and the side effects of the vaccine are fading, thankfully!
Weather has been scary but thankfully nothing too serious here...we haven’t lost any power or had any tree or garden damage!
Going to read...don’t expect lots of personals but will so what i can!

Hey all. Today was a slow day at work. I planned on leaving around 4 but didn’t get away until 5. Grabbed some pork steaks for supper. Fixed DH some potatoes to go with and I had broccoli. I do miss my potatoes but got to do better. I did cave to some chocolate when I got hole but not to bad.
Carole I should have have about 69 oz by the time I go to bed. Better than I usually do. I guess that’s a start.
B.... bacon and eggs L.... stuffed pepper soup S ...pork steaks and broccoli
Day is tracked and if I eat like that everyday I should be down 10# in 5 weeks. We all know that will be a miracle if I make that but hey I wouldn’t complain.
Yes our fuel pumps are Phillips 66. They are under warranty until Aug 2020. Only about an 18 month warranty which surprised me. Figured it would’ve been longer. So the only money we are out is from our customers getting upset and going across the street because they are frustrated our pumps have had issues. Yes that is not good. Hope they finally figured out the issue and got the issue fixed.
Glad you was able to get into PT yesterday. Hope today’s PT went well. Oh I can’t even imagine how I would feel if I went to the gym. Would not be good. I know I need to but haven’t made it there in about a year now. I’m terrible.
Carole sorry yesterday didn’t go as planned. I was surprised I did better at work than at home. Darn Easter candy. I don’t think I will ever learn.
So any new news on the interviews. Is it a rumor or are they starting them up soon. Hope you find out and they get them started soon.
Carole I think they did have some storms down around Ft Worth. Not sure how close. We have a chance of rain again Saturday I think. I need to mow again but mower is at DS again. I wish he had the money to buy him one. Ugh!!! He’s going to wear mine out prematurely. I have a pretty heavy duty one but I don’t like that he isn’t even trying to get one for his big yard.
Hope you can get a plan together to get help with all the family gatherings. I am just going to have to be forceful myself when we do things and ask for help. Not fair we do it all and everybody else gets time to catch up.
My mammogram are every 6 months for now. At least until they feel there are no worries. Right now it’s my left side that is every 6 months. Right side is yearly. They still feel there is nothing to be concerned with but just checking it out.
Christine glad you slept well last night. I slept fairly good until the dogs got antsy.
Sue glad the game was cancelled and you was able to go home and not miss it. I guess the rain was a blessing in disguise.
Gabrielle I need to look and see how far you are from DS Clayton. I hope to get to meet up some day. I still need to post pics of our flash flood on FB but need to get to bed now. Will try to do that tomorrow
Ok sorry guys but it’s 10:30 and past bed time
See all soon
