Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Heading to work soon. Rainy morning and forecast calls for thunderstorms so we’ll probably be busy.
Will go to grocery store after work. I need to pick up blueberries so that I can make muffins. They are my favorite grab-n-go breakfast.

Good afternoon all. We ran in town this morning so DS could have lunch with us and spend some time with Mara. She lit up when she saw Daddy coming down the aisle in the restaurant.
Came home and started a load of laundry. Then got to chatting online with a friend in NY and that’s about the extent of what I’ve gotten done today. The cleaning lady didn’t come today, she isn’t feeling well and had stuff to do at home, and it’s really easier to do on weeks we don’t have Mara. So we will do some vacuuming, floor mopping, etc. today later.
70 and sunny out. Storms overnight, but not much rain out of them. Just a pretty show!!! No big plans the rest of the day. Graduation party tomorrow afternoon and not sure which of us or if all of us are going. It’s older DD’s BFF (from high school who was also her maid of honor) - her son, who is adopted from Korea. Remember she & her ex-hubby bringing him here a couple weeks after he arrived in the US. Older DD’s family was here to see him. Our whole family is close to her as she was a swim coach when our younger DD was competing. And she babysat (?) for our two younger kids when DD was living in WI and we went on a trip. She was the adult in the house in case of anything going on. So she calls us her 2nd set of parents.
I need to do a couple things before Mara is up from nap. Will check in later.

Good morning all,
Cloudy morning. Expecting rain sometime today . I have to admit that I’m enjoying the cooler temps we’re getting this Spring. Usually we go from the cold of winter straight to the heat of summer. Highs of 60s to low 70s feel great. I do wish I saw the sun more often, but those days will come.
Laundry is on my agenda today, along with grocery shopping. I just need to buy fruits and veggies since I’ve been getting meal prep meals. I will eventually make my own, but for now getting them delivered is ok for me. Still enjoying them, and honestly so much healthier than what I used to eat. Since it’s not too hot I’ll probably make muffins this evening and freeze some of them. They make a nice easy breakfast choice when I’m in a hurry. I might make some egg muffins too.
Enjoy your day

Good morning all. Joy, your meal planning is going great. We did Home Fresh for about 6 mo and enjoyed it, but it was before we were both on WW and they weren’t WW friendly. I think they have an option now that is.
We are finally getting sunny skies and 70. We had the windows open for a while yesterday. We got in a mile walk and some backyard fun time for Mara.
Have a high school graduation open house this afternoon. Will get to see older DD and I forgot to ask who is coming with her. Possibly her DH and possibly DGD Kira.
Will bbl. need to make my Target list and get dressed and go. I need a graduation card for starters.

Just came back from grocery store. I like going in the afternoon so that I can check out what my friend is making in the veggie area. Today it was a zucchini noodle salad with grape tomatoes and red onions with a roasted red pepper vinegarette dressing. Very good. I plan on making it this week but will just dice the zucchini instead of spiraling it. Will be a nice change from a leafy salad.
Picked up pineapples, strawberries and grapes. They make a nice snack in the evening at work. So much better than going to the vending machine.
Put in another load of laundry, towels ... that should be it for laundry today.
See ya tomorrow.

Joyce, sounds like you are doing good with your CBing and WWing. I would like something like the meal prep meals but DH is such a picky eater that I don’t think it would work for us. One of our DSs gave us Blue Apron and we tried it for 4 weeks, there was a lot of prep work involved and there were only a few meals that DH enjoyed. One of the meals called for salsa, there were 5 things for me to chop and prepare for the salsa, too much work for such a small thing.
Ruth, hope you had a good time at the graduation party. Always nice to see young people succeed. I’m sure Mara misses her mom and dad when she is with you for so many days. I know my DGD is very much a daddy’s girl. If she is upset or gets hurt she always wants daddy.
The dance recital was OK and less than an hour. DGD was in 2 numbers, totaling less than 5 minutes. Bus weekend. At first the weather forecast for tomorrow was rain. Bill and DS#2 were supposed to head to the lake to take the boat out so Bill can take it to the marina. DS called Bill and said due to the rain scheduled for Monday why not do it today. We headed to the lake on the way home from DS#1s house. We got the boat out (not as easy as it sounds) and it does require at least 2 people but works better with 3 or more. Bill has to call the marina and make an appointment then we head back to get the boat and take it to the marina. UGH!!!$$$. We did get a lot of yard work finished when we got home and finished just before the rain started. Rained for about 5 minutes and then the sun came out and about 30 minutes later it poured for almost 30 minutes. With all the rain and cool weather the grass is growing very fast.
