Thanks for the start, Karen.
Becky, you are settling into summer heat, I see. Take it easy if you go out walking.
Linda, happy to hear all went well with the installation. Sorry about the hole in your garage ceiling
Waving to Kathy and Liz.
I am sitting waiting for the car. All is well just need new wiper blades along with the tire rotation and oil change.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele I'm glad you got your cable and wifi back yesterday. It has been cloudy all day.It says it's only 82 but it was so humid and still when I walked this afternoon.I hope you didn't have to wait long at the dealer.
Linda I didn't know you could take Claritin or Zyrtec more than once a day.I have been taking Zyrtec for allergies but the stores have been out so I switched to Claritin. It works okay but Zyrtec still works better I think.
Waving to all.

Chele, it's so nice when our vehicles only require routine maintenance. Wiper blades are pretty important but oft forgotten. What did you do after you had your car serviced? Our Honda place near the old house used to wash the car (weather permitting) as part of the service appointment. I miss that. YAY! on the cable and WiFi. Are you still under a boil advisory?
How did the PCP appointment go, Linda? Is the UTI the root of your problems? That seems like a lot of Claritin or Zyrtec. Are they available in different strengths and the lower dose ones can be taken more often? Poor Micki. My Kira was like that and it was painful to watch. They seem so miserable. Your part of the world isn't the only one where people neglect their wiper blades. But I'll bet you go through them pretty quickly in the heat.
Kathy, did your road need to be redone after the shower? Our county will fill potholes in the rain and I've seen them fill the asphalt mix (what DF used to refer to as "chip and dip") into potholes with standing water. Now you know why our road barely qualifies as paved. I feel sorry for the UPS guys because the shocks on their trucks are seriously in need of replacement. Talk about kidney busters. Is tomorrow grocery day? Will you be able to get your car out of the driveway? Nice that you didn't have to park somewhere else and good that you didn't have any place you needed to go today..
How was the bandage change, Liz? Or have you been trying to forget about it?
Becky, I agree with Chele about it getting close to not walking outdoors weather. I remember when we lived in Austin, I would be running the neighborhood or on the Zilker trails by 7 am to beat the heat and humidity. Do you take a bottle of water with you?
I wore a different pair of shoes on the AMT today and no numb toes. I should have my new shoes by the time Dale gets back so I hope they will work as well and I can try them in a couple of weeks. They have more support than the ones I wore today. I've been working on the newsletter this afternoon. Deadline is tomorrow and you know who hasn't submitted anything yet. I have another guy who does occasional climate articles and said he was going to send me something but haven't heard from him either. I did hear from DSIL this afternoon and they were about 200 miles from their new home. They have quite a caravan: a 26 ft and a 16 ft U-Haul, 2 full size pick ups, and an SUV. Counting those who are relocating, there are 7 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. Nice to have friends who help you move 900 miles away. DB will do anything for anyone, so some of it was payback. But these are just nice people who have been friends for years. I hope DB and DSIL will be able to make friends like these folks are. We should all be so lucky. I have a CSA order to pick up tomorrow and will probably change the sheets, so laundry will be involved. Plan to swim early. They are now saying during the next week, we will get 3 to 5 inches of rain, so may not be swimming much, even while Dale is home.

Karen Now if we have to go to Walmart or HEB I ride the recumbent bike for 20 minutes which is about all my knees can handle even on the lowest resistance. We went to WM this morning and although really humid the temps weren't too bad so I did walk.I don't take water with me because from now on I'm not doing more than 30-35 min.I do drink water before and after I get home.Tomorrow we need to go to HEB so I will do the bike before we leave and depending on if we get much rain tomorrow I may or may not walk. What brand shoes are you getting? It is wonderful to have friends who will help you move 900 miles.I hope they like their new location.
Linda For some reason Allegra never even worked for my allergies.Zyrtec helps the most and Claritin is a close second but I don't have the itching like you except with all the mosquitos.

thankfully most of the time no mosquitoes...once in a whike though
Becky, my knees did not like the bike for a week after the shot although they had me do warm up of ten minutes in PT that week
That is quite a moving caravan!
