I plan to KOKO with good meals at home for another day. I have lost 2.6 of trip gain and need to check Fitbit to see where I was before the trip. I have been too busy to snack and did not even have time to post yesterday. I finished the cookie baking, 5 different kinds this past week and 1 more I baked and put in the freezer before the trip. Yesterday I gave cookies plus gifts to our house sitter as well as to some very close friends. This week I will give them with gifts to the neighbor who does my nails, my hairstylist who has a family of five, other friends, neighbors and family. If distribution is good there will be just enough left for DH and me. I can bake without tasting but I do like to have a few before the serious weight loss attitude begins. Today I am getting my kitchen and bathroom tile cleaned professionally. The kitchen has 12x12 white square tile that is probably 25 years old and it really should be replaced, which would be a huge job since it extends into an eating area, pantry and utility room so in addition to constant mopping, I get it done professionally twice a year. It will be pretty this week when neighbors, friends and family are over and then start to look bad again in a few weeks. MJ you scored well with your shopping yesterday. Congrats on the smaller size. Susi, are you feeling better now? Bee, do you have time to read. Since I quit book club I am now reading books I like such as Commonwealth, A Man Called Ove, My Mrs Brown and I just started The Hillbilly Elegy. La Donna, how was the party and your time yesterday with the 4 year old? Yesterday I did Face Time with my 4 year old till his little sister literally pushed him out of the way and said "me, me." She is going to be a tough cookie as she gets older. She will be two in March. Wishing everyone a happy day today. Drink lots of water, plan healthy meals and snacks and unless it is your birthday, December 19th is not a holiday

Audrey, I love this sentence --- I can bake without tasting but I do like to have a few before the serious weight loss attitude begins. I can tell you it is a road I have NEVER traveled on. Looking back over my weight loss past, that attitude has never begun. LOL I have discovered Charles Martin, and now am reading When Crickets Cry. The kindle edition and the nook from Barnes and Noble edition are both $1.99 today. He is a writer who uses words, in a unique way, to me. Hope you are feeling better.
MJ, can't wait to see what your return will read like. LOL Hope you have a great day!
How - am going on my second day of replicating yesterday. It is working. So glad I am back comfortably on the water wagon.
Disclaimer --- not recommending anyone make this --- but it sure was GOOD! I have a hankering for prosciutto wrapped asparagus roasted. Did way too many Friday, and yesterday afternoon did some more. This time, since I wasn't very hungry --- I made a sandwich with mayo and the wrapped asparagus. It was soooooooooo good.
Hope AWF have a great day.
Note to Northern Friends - your COLD has seeped and visited me. I want you ALL to know, I did not welcome it. LOL

June, I do different combos because I have never learned to pre-plan a meal. I am a 'what's in the fridge' cooker, and 5 ingredients or less. Yes, does introduce me to some 'different' things.

Bee j- I often do the same, much for the same reason. I especially like transforming leftovers into some new dish.

Good morning all. I woke up feeling a bit under the weather. Tummy issues. The ginger tea is working a bit. I just need to 'baby it' for a bit.
Audrey I plan on delivering all the baked goods today as well....and like you, with luck we'll just have a little left over for us.
MJ wishing you a happy day as well.
Bee glad you enjoyed your meal. I'm not a fan of asparagus but LOVE prosciutto!
I'm also fond of throwing things together that are leftover and getting a new twist on things.
June good for you getting back to the 'water habit'. I'm getting there as well.
Wishing all a lovely Monday!

Good Monday morning to all,
Drinking coffee and looking at the drizzling rain out of my living room window. Think I'll get ready and head to town and finish up my shopping today and do my walking at the mall where it is dry. Just had a healthy breakfast and plan to follow suit the rest of the day with meals/snacks.
Audrey, wow you are busy - so sweet of you to do all of that baking for your family, friends and neighbors. The party I attended Sat. evening was fun. The host roasted a turkey breast and there was roasted vegs., fruit, and many unhealthy selections. I only ate healthy choices but I had several adult beverages. For the gift exchange, DH took a small bottle of crown royal and I took bath & body works lotion/hand soap. We ended up with a set of shot glasses and a set of Members Mark (Sams) tumblers. They are the knock off of the yeti but very nice. My sweet girl was sick yesterday and running fever so our visit was cut short. Her grandfather is taking her to the dr today since her mom is testing today. Hope whatever she has passes quickly so she will be well for Christmas.

Hey Naomi,
No the little girl is not my granddaughter. Her family attends the church that my family attends and my daughter has baby sat her since she was a year old. Well, she is like a member of the family now. She loves coming to my house and spending time with us. She is my practice grand:) - we all just love her to pieces.

Susi, feel better with that cold! Sending you soothing vibes and a bowl of chicken soup.
LaDonna sounds like you and DH really enjoyed your party. It's so nice to get together like that. Enjoy your mall walking today, and I hope that 'wee one' feels better.
Naomi, you made me LOL with your 'food addiction'. I suffer from the same ailment!
Time to get a move on. My tummy is feeling a bit better...for that I'm MOST grateful!

More power to you Audrey! The dough is my favorite part. It’s the cookies I can do without. I think it’s great that you get them professionally cleaned. White tile and I would never get along. MJ – Great job on the sizes and costs yesterday! Bee – Prosciutto wrapped anything is good in my book but especially asparagus (cooked) or cantaloupe (raw) Another one on the water brigade today, although yesterday wasn’t too bad. Feel better Ann So sorry your little friend was sick LaDonna. LOL Naomi. Saturday started out with snow, then sleet, then rain before settling in the the low 40s. Yesterday when we left the bar is was 66. By the time I got home 15 minutes later it was down to 52 and just kept going. This morning was 27. We found many like minded souls at the bar. Local stations only show the local teams which makes it difficult when you are a Jersey girl rooting for the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers. This cold is pretty nasty but I am doing my best to ignore it and flush it out with water. Out to dinner tonight. I have pretty much narrowed it down to: CHICKEN SAVOY - Chicken breast layered with spinach and roasted peppers, topped with mozzarella cheese, finished in a garlic and balsamic reduction sauce or CHICKEN SANTA LUCIA Chicken breast sautéed with broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, and sundried tomatoes in a rich wine sauce topped with mozzarella without the cheese, wine
