Sitting here thinking of my upcoming weekend. Tomorrow (Saturday) is my day at the food pantry. I am also really busy at work booking athletes to a National track meet. I should go to the office after I get done at the food pantry. Not much "me time" for me on Saturday. I also have a few veggies to still get in the garden. Watering to do if if doesn't rain tomorrow like the forecast says it will.
So maybe by Sunday I can relax for a bit, although on Sundays I often clean my house and get ready for the week ahead.
How about you ? Any plans for the weekend ?

No plans for the weekend. Will probably start getting ready for my daughter's arrival next Thursday evening so that means dusting, mopping, tidying, decluttering surfaces, etc.

No specific plans for my weekend either. I'll be going in to town for Mass this afternoon and will pick up a few groceries. Hopefully tomorrow my grandson will be able to come out and help me put up the fence around my garden.

No plans here for the weekend either, probably just get ready for the week ahead. I am going on a mini trip with a cousin of mine. We are going to East TN for a couple of days. We own a time share there & we never go to it. Haven't been up there in several yrs, so we 2 are going up there to check it out.

Nothing special going on this weekend - just random, everyday things. Got groceries this morning, planted a couple more tomato plants (after a couple plants failed from the first time we planted, I got some extra plants...made room for 2 more plants beyond the 2 that needed to be replaced). Local baseball game this evening. Volunteer visit with the dogs on Sunday.
I have M-W off next week (mostly - need to go in for awhile when the supply deliveries arrive) before the summer meal program starts on Thursday, so on one hand, I can take it a bit easier this weekend, on the other hand, I can work on some projects (I've been trying to get the disorganization of my crafting area under control) that take a bit of a longer time frame.

A quiet weekend ahead. Tomorrow after church we’re going out for breakfast and then to the farmers market which reopened last weekend. Can’t wait to resupply our fruit and veggies.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Today (Saturday) was a total day of relaxation for me. I spent time reading a novel I'd brought with me. DS and DGS took me to a nearby park they'd read about but hadn't been to before, and we hiked along the Applegate River. At a certain place, DGS took off his shirt, shoes and socks and went into the river. After taking his sweet time getting most of himself wet (he never actually totally submerged), DS gave in and removed his shirt and shoes (also his denim shorts, but left on his boxers) (is that TMI?) and went in all the way. He loved it! I took pictures on my phone; I just remembered I haven't yet shown them to my DDIL!
And tomorrow I pack. My flight leaves the local airport (Medford, more than a half hour away from here) at 3 for Portland where I change planes for San Diego, getting in at 8. DH runs a booth at the County Fair so he won't be able to pick me up, but a good friend will come get me and drive me home (he lives not too far from us).
And that's my weekend plan!

The food pantry I work at on Saturdays shares it space with the church's preschool indoor play area, so during the school year we have to pick up all the tables and put everything away. Today was the first time we have been there since school got out for the summer, so we although we had to put the leftover cans and bags of food back into the storage area, we didn't have to pick up the tables. So... instead of getting done there around 2-3pm, we were out of there by 115pm. So iI was able to get a bit of me (doing nothing) time on Saturday. Went for a nice walk with a friend this evening and stayed to visit for a while.
Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be watering the garden and perhaps a bit of weeding. I checked my emails to see if I needed to go in to work and didn't see anything that couldn't wait until Monday.
Have a great rest of your weekend everyone.

Today I'm going to finish my garden. I have 4 tomato plants to set out and a couple hills of squash to plant. I put off doing it yesterday as thunderstorms were predicted with wind and possible hail. They never materialized, but we did get a little rain. Then I'm going to set out my flowers in pots in the yard.
