The scale is moving down again - hoorray! I know I am making progress and the smoothie/liquid/lighter dinner is helping as is keeping my journal and being mindful. I hope that when my daughter and her foodie tendencies don't derail me! I see much cleaning in the next few days but would like to get a few more books read and reviewed before I settle in to the cleaning AND if done a few days from now the dust will have less time to re-accumulate
CHERRY: We don't have rabbits or deer but do have hungry birds, turtles and underground animals (gophers?) that eat the roots and sometimes pull the whole plant down into the holes they have dug. My daughter has deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, raccoons and other animals that come to eat her garden produce. She is hoping to one day have a greenhouse and big fence around her outdoor garden. Good luck getting in the sprinkling system!
BEVERLY: I am glad your groundhog is a good neighbor! Has s/he ever found a mate? I have seen photos of flooding and my daughter worries about the Missouri farmers. I wonder what if anything farmers will be able to plant this year and how that will impact the food supply.
PAM: How often do you go to have your hair colored and cut? I have done highlights in the past but with it so short now don't bother...don't want to have to keep it up, I guess.
LYNN: It must be nice to have meetings and such on the calendar...at least sometimes. When you said you had a meeting with the police department and mentioned buying donuts and granola bars my first thought was "will she also take a vegetable/fruit tray? WW for over half my life has done a number on me! You will get the weight off again! What was the meeting about this week?

Good morning. I didn't plant my tomatoes yesterday. Severe thunderstorms were predicted last evening with wind and possible hail, so I decided to wait until they passed. They never materialized, but it did rain a little during the night and showers are predicted this morning. Hopefully I'll get them done this afternoon.
I'll be going in to town this afternoon for Mass and I'll pick up a few groceries. It is gloomy out this morning. It's not raining at the moment, but looks like it could at any moment. We could really use some rain, but I don't think it is going to happen today, at least not enough.
Have a good day, beaches.

Jeez, I was just knocked off and lost my post...drat!!
On my second coffee and getting ready to do laundry. Not too much else on the agenda today. Maybe some reading
Yesterday's meeting was about gratitude and they are having another promotion where you can get another charm. It keeps people coming to meetings during the summer.
Have a lovely Saturday!

Good morning friends.
Hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start.
Kuddos to everyone who has the scale going in the right direction. I am still here, too much of a chicken to step on the scale. I have a birthday this week & a 2 day trip to a condo with my cousin. So maybe by the following week, I will put on my big-girl panties (actually) and get my self back to the meetings. I have a total of 4 dr appts in June, so I'm sure I will have to face the scale really soon.
We picked the squash in the garden this morning, we are overrun with zucchini!! I just made some zucchini fritters for DH & GS (who spent the night with us), I will be gone a couple of days this coming week, they will probably get out of hand!! I will start giving them away to the neighbors.
As far as I know, the poor groundhog has never had a mate. Don't know if it is a he or a she. I think it must be a he because of his size. I feel bad for him, he seems so lonely.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi beaches. The sun has again gone behind some clouds. A quiet day ahead. Focusing on cleaning up around the house today.
Cathy: I have my hair cut and colored about every 6 weeks.
Have a great day everyone.
