Choose the number that is right for YOU! * YOU CAN JOIN ANYTIME DURING THE MONTH. * Activity is whatever you choose. It can be anything from gardening or doing some stretches to walking, running, yoga, cycling, swimming, zumba, or spinning, or anything in between. YOU decide what constitutes being active for you! * Check in and tell us how you're progressing toward your monthly goal. * You can check in as often as you'd like. The thread will be posted daily. *Everyone welcome. You can start anytime you want to. *If you only want to track your daily minutes and post here that is fine, too. You don't have to keep track for the month

Today I rally my troops and begin to clean OR as my sister used to say...I will be dancing with Mr. Mop and Mr. Broom...will track my minutes as I work and let you know how I did tomorrow. Three days or four then daughter is here and I do want it to be tidier in the house (especially in her room) than it is today.

Dance away. Shall we dance shall we dance... OK Saturday rode to gym about 45' and did 30' of upper body weights. Walked for 70'. Sunday I rode to WW meeting about 70' r.t. Going to be close to 37°C here by Wednesday or 97°F+. Yikes. Was only 62°F on Fri.
Oh worm composting. I have a "Can-o-Worms" unit which was originally made in Australia that has stackable trays with mesh holes in bottom. I use a bit of coir or shredded cardboard for a bed and add table veggie scraps to it (but no citrus fruit or rinds or meat or dairy). I use some kind of red worms that are by nature composting worms and like living and dining in a compost layer. Our local large nightcrawlers don't live in the compost layer or eat much. In different part of the world folks use somewhat different worms in the compost layer. The layer needs to be damp like a wrung out towel. The worm castings are quite wonderfgul to mix into the garden or on plants.
