⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. * Ifyou give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Even if you lose 1/2 pound a week you'll still lose 26 pounds by this time next year. Just keep going!

So often I get discouraged if the scale is not moving down or is naughty and moves up. I try to focus on "eating healthy" and such but sometimes I lose sight of the fact that it is health and not pounds that are my main focus at 67 years of age...hmmm...

I know! I take the number on the scale so personally. Hard to move away from that thinking. Today it was up a couple of ounces but I already had a pep talk with myself about it. I was in a car yesterday for 8 hours driving round trip to see my dad in the hospital. No steps to speak of, left early & home late. Exhausted from doing nothing but at least my daughter was with me. All good for the moment. Good food choices despite the circumstances, just zero activity. Today's a new day with new opportunities to move around and I'm back to work for the week. I'm good.

Amen. I know for me the last few pounds were less than 1/2 lb per week. Sometimes zero. Sometimes a smidge. Oh my hard to drive all that way and spending time in hospital with dad.
