Just finished doing housework. Man THAT was FUN!!!!!! I figured I'd do it while Carl was mowing lawns, as one thing I don't like is cleaning around someone LOL. Now I'm ready to sit and relax. Bee KOKO for me as well. That's a LOT to pay for those slimy little worms LOL....nice that you struck a bargain I hear the mower in the yard. I need to meet Mr. L at the door so that he doesn't traipse into the kitchen with his work boots on!!!!!

Greetings. Another day at the office. I ordered a take out salad from a local Italian place and it was so good. Though not very point friendly I am sure. I'll have to do better at dinner tonight. The salad had grilled chicken, feta cheese, dried cranberries, strawberries, cukes, small apple chunks, onion/peppers and of course lettuce. I am actually taking the day tomorrow to spend with DD and will have Friday off as well. So yay to a four day weekend. We haven't decided what we will do yet but maybe a little retail therapy, maybe a movie or the zoo. June, the Canada trip sounds like it will be relaxing and a time for reflection. Do just the two of you go? LOL on the work connection Randy has a cool place nearby he goes and digs his own worms. Becky, I also need groceries. That exactly the reason I had to go out to get lunch...nothing at home to bring. That usually gets me in trouble. I had a meeting at the church last night so I had NO time at all yesterday to do any errands. Hope you found the things you needed. Audrey, Lecture sounds intriguing. I sure could use some foot recovery this week. Enjoy. Cathy, Yay on getting the cleaning done! Hope the books are to your liking. When I start a book it has to grab my attention pretty soon. If I am not into the subject matter I find it hard to concentrate and have to reread because my mind wanders. Susi, same here at work - trying to get everything done so I can be out tomorrow. hope all goes well! Ann, it is cool here today as well. very unusual for this time of year. I like Robyn Carr I'll have to check that one out. love a good book. yall are rocking the cleaning today! Bee, that works! I like your named days of the week yesterday! Might be a good idea to do your free day on Bible study day if snackatorium has something you want to partake in. MJ, the chicken sounds tasty!

Cathy Walking in a light shower yesterday was fun.The first time I went to this doctor he injected cortisone hoping they would work until the gel injections arrived but they didn't last that long. These last ones were one gel injection in each knee.
Susi Sorry about no cable services last night.Glad you could read.I hope your prep and colonoscopy goes well.
Ann I agree on the prep being the worst part.I hope you have a good day.Beer can chicken sounds good.It didn't take long for our fog to clear either.
MJ Prayers for the Mousketeer.
June LOL on your worm connection.I like your goal of do the doable. That's all any of us can do.I'm like you.I mostly listen to TV instead of watching anything.
Bee Also good goals.

Ann I also don't like to clean around anyone.
LaDonna That salad sounds delicious.I'm glad you are getting a 4 day weekend.I did find enough groceries to last until Friday when we will do our weekend grocery shopping trip. Our fridge is small so I can't buy a lot of fresh fruits & veggies.
Ann My grocery store had blueberries on sale and they were so good in my plain Greek yogurt.

Ha ha ha... love that our having a "worm dealer" gave many of you a laugh. Seriously, quality worms are key to a success fishing trip. When we left our flat behind & bought worms in the last town before the provincial reserve/park, it was a rough go. On the last day we had to use halfsies and scrounge the bottom of the boat for any live bits.
I would gladly catch my own dorms if I had a good spot like Randy. The worm guy has permission to pick at several golf courses after the green is watered. Lucky guy.

Ann Yes, it's easier not to work around someone. Unless you've are the one doing the sitting. ๐
Becky Will you soon get the gel shots? Hope so. I love adding diet lemonade mix w/ Mj e. Soooooo yummy. All the summer fruits . . . Yum, yum, yum. LaDonna Sounds like that salad was very tasty. Hope you make a grocery run tonight! I always tell myself yiu can not eat what you do not buy.
It's just us. It's is not the type of vacation for most. When we first went, the cabin was one room w/ 2 bunk beds. No bathroom. Wood burner for heat, propane stove, beds, & table w/ chairs in one room. The attached porch had screened window & housed a propane fridge. No real privacy for anyone else. Years later the lodge owners added an bathroom addition to cabin & they pumped lake water for a flush toilet & hot shower. The water is not potable though. This year the small cabin is booked. So we are staying in the large one, which has rooms w/ doors. It's quite nice. That said, we never asked anyone to come w/ us. We usually fish like two fools. R' says that he knows men who would not be ready to fish at the crack of dawn.
Am thinking though this year we will need to dial it back. Do not want to overtax R's wrists.
Pam Another set of ears & comforting presence does help. Glad your DH could accompany you. I always wish someone else would put away groceries, too! And why is it that you never want to cook after grocery shopping?!?

My mother-in-law used to keep her nightcrawlers in the refrigerator and it was quite a surprise to me when I was a young bride visiting for the first time. She loved her fishing. The foot lecture demonstrated NormaTec compression boots which improve circulation and reduce muscle and joint soreness. My friend who had breast cancer uses something similar on her arm at her doctorโs office for her lymph edema. They also sell medical quality compression hose like the ones I had for my knee replacements and which I have used under long pants on airplanes with a more comfortable socks over them. These are not surgical wide but I am sure they are expensive. He answered lots of questions about different types of pain surgeries and neuromas and plantar fasciitis. Outside the office a mama hummingbird had a nest and was feeding her three babies. Kathy my daughter reads books for the Williams Saroyan writing prize but she only has to read five. You are so kind to take on an extra responsibility for the New Zealand priize. Wish I had time for more personals but I doubt
