Good Morning Chicks,
Chele - you must have posted the thread right after I had done so. I will go back and try to delete mine. I hope the sciatica is doing better this morning and not causing so much pain and/or discomfort. The procedure went well except I had to wait an hour for it to start; the doc got backed up with another patient. She warned of vein pain and when I first got up from the car ride home it was a doozie! Walking and elevating are the prescription for today. The leg is wrapped in an Unna boot once again and I am to see her next Tues. Pups have been walked and fed this morning so thought I would check in. We are in the upper 40s this morning with sun and upper 70s as the forecast. Rain is coming our way and tomorrow is supposed to be chilly and rainy all day if the weather guessers are correct.
Linda - hope the HVAC guys get your howling resolved and wow on having to work in those conditions routinely! The boxer painting sounds like it will be challenging and wonderful. My pups are enjoying the cooler weather in the mornings as they are not fans of the heat or rain. Chopper pilot wasn't certified to be flying in the weather that he ran into but wasn't able to turn back in time. It's amazing that there weren't injuries all over; he lost his life but truly saved many others by being able to crash land on that building roof.
Kathy - the weather nationally seems to be a cornucopia of crazy! I don't remember such consistent erratic temperatures happening on a daily basis. Throw in the storms, tornadoes, and a myriad of other oddities and Mother Nature is definitely saying something! How awful about the motorcycle rider and the lightening. I'm glad you don't have to go to work in all the rain and downpours. It's really disturbing to see the changes in weather and how it affects so many things.
Becky - glad you are doing well and may get to see your old Curve pals in the new place. You've been having some erratic weather as well. How are the knees doing this morning? The procedure went well but I may need another. I won't know until next week when she does another ultrasound and checks the wound. The good news is that the wound is healing thank heavens! How is Kenneth doing? Are the fur babies tolerating all the crazy weather changes well?
Karen - I really liked Chele's comment about the Velcro dog; how is Arya doing? How are the feets? Did you get the new shoes and have you tried them out yet? Still having some moderate pain in the wound area which I think is normal. The doc wants to start the paperwork to get approval for the other leg before it starts to ulcerate which I appreciate. I don't want any more of these wounds; they are nasty and painful! Is everything going well for Dale? Nice work on being able to get him on a program that will save some money. My goofy story for yesterday is that Gary came to pick me up at the hospital. He took my car which has a hang tag for the lot I park in at the train station. He should have put it on his car when he swapped them out but forgot. He was riding down the rode with both windows open when the hang tag went, and I quote "floating out the passenger window". So I need to go to the Town Clerks office this morning to obtain a replacement and pay $10. Good luck with the new PCP, I hope that you're concerns are heard and appreciated regarding medicines.
Alright dear ladies, I am off to make some coffee and walk and elevate. Have a safe and good day my friends! Ciao for now~

Thanks for the start, Chele. How's the sciatica today? Does Iggy have a trip coming up or will he be in town for a while?
Liz, I put a note on the other thread to post here instead, so hopefully that will avoid confusion. I wonder why the pilot was flying in weather he wasn't certified for. I heard he had dropped off a client right before the crash, so it's a miracle the crash didn't happen before and both of them would have died. Have you heard how much damage was sustained to the roof of the building? I hope you will be able to lay low today, save getting the hangtag replaced. Oops! I used to have to put my hangtag in the glove compartment when I had the windows down on the Accord coupe, after nearly losing it out the window a couple of times. I know you're glad the procedure is over and I hope it will heal quickly and you can get ahead on the other one before it ulcerates. I hope you won't have too much more pain. I hate that you'll be going back tomorrow in the rain. Hope you have a good deck day with the pups today. I have been breaking in the new shoes and I think they will be ready to wear tomorrow. We are getting a cool front and highs should only be in the mid 70s, so probably not a sandals day anyway. It started raining here about 10 minutes ago, so Arya is snoring next to me on the couch. She had her breakfast so this is the food coma part of her morning anyway, so the rain mellows her out a bit more. She hates to go out in the rain.
When are the AC guys returning, Linda? Is today a museum day?
I woke up around 4:15 with tummy issues so it's been back and forth to the bana since. Not sure why. I haven't been out of the house since Thursday and it's only been the pup and me since Saturday, so I haven't been exposed to anything. I'm currently watching last night's Giants game that I DVR'd so good day to just hang out on the couch til Dale gets home. He asked for my special baked beans, so I will make them later. I have sweet potatoes in the oven for my little sweet potato. Not feeling like doing yoga today but hope to Vibe later.
Waving to Kathy and Becky.

Liz, we must have been in create mode at the same time. I hate when a procedure appointment is late. The anxiety just builds, at least, for me. I am glad it is over but sorry to hear you are in pain. It is great that the doc is being proactive on your other leg. Give the pups some love from me. You always have so much on your plate it is a wonder that you keep on going. Sorry about the hang tag. Linda, one would think that the professional installers would have anticipated this problem when they were giving you a quote. Fingers crossed the sales guy will just give it to you. Love your song. Karen, sorry about the tummy issues. I hope they are improved. Iggy is in town until the middle of July when he goes home for 2 weeks. I hope Dale has a good trip home and enjoys your baked beans. Waving to Kathy and Becky. I went to Wally World and GFS today. I always go to Walmart for personal care items as the prices are always better. Iggy wanted some chicken wings and GFS has the best. They are larger than most and well priced. I don’t put sauce on them, just roast them at high heat. He can add BBQ sauce or hot sauce or dip in bleu cheese dressing as the mood strikes. I have some chopping to do to make a veggie tray to go with.

Linda, LOL on Willie Nelson. Tummy still growling but my processional seems to have subsided for now. I hope the sales guy takes care of you, given how much you had to put out for the new system. That would be a good faith arrangement and would be more likely for you to recommend them to others. Fingers and paws crossed here for you. It stinks when what you have to do interferes with what you want to do. Best of luck to Bob on Friday. I always hate the prep. Worse than the procedure itself. I did an approved alternative prep this time and it was much easier to get my system reset afterwards. It took 4 days to do the prep, however. Where did you get a picture of Arya? Yep, that's my girl! I get comfy and I see her sitting at the front door, which is her "I gotta go out" signal.
I didn't realize Iggy was going to visit his DM and company. It seems like he was just there a few months ago. Might not want to know how they grow those chicken wings so much larger than normal. Bet it doesn't take long to roast them. What will you have on your veggie tray? Happy chopping! Dale called about 10:30 to say he was on his way home and did I want him to stop and pick up dinner at Aubrey's. So I'll be having salmon tacos and steamed broccoli for dinner tonight. So no baked beans.
Kathy, was today a grocery shopping day? I have been watching the TB Rays game this afternoon and they said it was raining there (not a problem since the Trop is indoors), so is that going to be heading for you? I noticed Publix has a lot of BOGO I will stock up on this week.
Did they find the kayaker in Pf'ville, Becky? Have you heard any more about the EF2 in Copperas Cove? Have you been in touch with any of your Curves friends to let them know you'll be back soon? It will be great when you can do that a couple of times a week and not have to do the bike or walk outside.
We're still in the low 70s here and had sun for about 5 minutes. It may not even get to 74 for the high tomorrow. Long pants, long sleeves, and my new shoes are laid out to wear to OS tomorrow. Been messaging back and forth with DSIL this afternoon. I got paperwork on DM's estate yesterday and they haven't gotten theirs yet. She had a lot more debts than I anticipated and my guess is if she had lived 3 or 4 more months, she would have been out of money. That was the thing she was most afraid of when she was still in her right mind. DSIL wondered when I would be down for a visit and I told them fall at the earliest to give them time to get settled.

Thanks for the start Chele.
Liz I'm glad the procedure went well.Bummer you had to wait so long for it.The weather has gone back to middle 80's and dry.Oh well it is always summer this time of yr in TX,CA and AZ.I'm sorry you may need another procedure.Kenneth is fine.Scooter is acting odd today. She hasn't wanted her food even with the probiotic and water stirred in and didn't want in for breakfast this morning although she finally came in.She must have been hot after I came back from my walk because she wanted in with me.I hope you keep your leg elevated today.
Karen I hope your tummy feels better soon.I'm glad Dale was on his way home.Enjoy your change in dinner. They found a body in Lake Pflugerville this morning but haven't confirmed identity. It was more than likely her. They just show pics on the news about the tornadoes.I used to see some of my Curves buddies in WM or HEB and I saw the former owner a couple of months ago but haven't kept in touch with any of them.We are back to summer through the w/e.
Waves to Kathy and Linda.

Liz, sorry you had to wait so long for the procedure and hope you had a good recovery day. I wish you could take an extra day so you didn't have to commute in the rain. The changes in the weather are worrisome. Can't believe we're already in hurricane season and hoping it's an uneventful season. Oh no on the hang tag flying out the window! Hope you didn't have to wait in line long to get the new one.
Karen, hope you're feeling better. Yes, this was a grocery shopping day. It was storming early this afternoon, so we wound up going around 3. Somehow we managed to get in and out without getting caught in a storm. Tomorrow is supposed to be an 80% chance of rain, so more is on the way. Yesterday they said we'd gotten over 6 inches in the past week. I think we get a break on Friday and then even more rain for the weekend. Salmon and broccoli is a good combination.
Linda, I'm hoping they'll include the fix for the AC in your installation costs. Lol on the picture.
Chele, I haven't been to Wally World for years. Every time I've gone there, I've said never again! They are just so crowded here and I don't really have one nearby. We do have a Walmart Neighborhood Market near us, so I suppose I should check it out sometime. There's always a ton of traffic coming out of there. I started using Pomi after you recommended it and it is really easy to make spaghetti sauce with it. I like the finely chopped one for a little more texture to the sauce.
Becky, that's sad about the woman that drowned in the lake.
