I'm home. All went well. DGF and I had lunch and how I am going to nap. June <<<hugs>>> Sadly it can take quite a while to get it all straightened out. Hope it is sooner rather than later. Sorry your toe is still bothering you. After I lost the nail, it took a while for all the pain to go away. Have fun with DD.

June Thanks for the prayers.I have had some good days but today they seem to hurt more again.I saw that butterfly pic online and I just had to use it especially since it was a TX butterfly.LOL.I hope you and R both enjoy the fishing trip. The weather this spring has been crazy.Keeping it simple is always good.I hope you get your appetite back.Sending prayers for you and your DM.Medicare can be a pain. You do need to take time for yourself.
LaDonna I'm glad you were able to sleep in a bit.Have fun with your DD.The zoo sounds like a good outing.I'm sorry you haven't had any relief in your toe pain.
Susi I'm glad you are home and the procedure went well.I am sure you were ready to eat afterwards.I hope you get in a nap.

LaDonna Ouch.. ouch..ouch.. losing a toenail sound incredibly painful. And goodness knows why, once yiu hurt a part of your body, you kept hitting it on things. Have a grand time with your DD!
Susi Happy to hear that you got a good report. A nap... that always seems like a simple gift that we can give to ourselves.
Pam Enjoy the lunch w/ your DM and DD. Those are precious moments for sure and certain.

Okay-- more info. about mom. Social worker will try to find avenue for assisted living status at the nursing home. If that is possible, then mom would be in a different wing upstairs w/ others of comparable mobility & cognitive functioning. So fingers crossed.

Susie and LaDonna I can send you instant messages of menus I photographed and food I have had that I really liked. The food is fabulous and I’ve had long discussions with the chef who does specialty bars like a breakfast omelettes up for risotto pasta etc. For example today he did an Italian grill cheese sandwiches with mozzarella rye bread and a half chopped vegetables with a side of grilled artichokes and it had only 130 cal for the plate of food. I am being low-key on Facebook but because even closest friends can sometimes make weird comments. In real life I told a very close friend who I was going to as a trainer and her first words were oh he does his bands to match and I had a friend who got really seriously hurt using bands. Well in four sessions I’ve only used vans once for a short period of time and perhaps she did something that caused her self to be hurt. Today’s lecture on maintaining motivation was excellent. My watch says it is 109 outside and I hope that is really wrong but I had a free hour between the two and 4 o’clock lectures so I am just sitting alone in the lecture room until the next one starts. I have my Kindle. June, have a great trip and Cathy enjoy every minute with your daughter. I am watching the final game of the NBA finals tonight so may not be back and will see you tomorrow.

June i hope the social worker can get your mom in the assisted living at the nursing home. She would probably be able to make more friends in a similar condition as she is.Crossing fingers it will happen.
Ann I hope the sneakers will help my knees also.I haven't taken a walk in them yet but hopefully they will help.
Audrey I hope it's not really that hot.I am glad you are enjoying the lectures and the food.

Ann Not sure what's worse-- needing wipers on your glasses or Instant Chia pet hAir.
Audrey LOL . . . Yes, FB posts cAn generate some real unhelpful comments. Somehow a 109 reading does not surprise me. Have been in Phoenix when it hit the high 110s. Wink wink... but it was dry heat.
You will return home inspired by your own success and ready to apply all that you have learned.

Audrey the food sounds delicious. So happy you are enjoying your spa time.
Becky when Carl had both knees scraped, his surgeon recommended Asics and that is all he wears.
I did a little house walking while talking to a gal I used to see at weight watchers when I was going weekly. It was nice to get caught up and move at the same time.

June, I think I broke my little toe last week when I rammed it into the bathroom door. Today at the zoo I was so worried a kid was going to step on it...well that didn't happen but me and my graceful self hit it on a side walk...way to go me LOL. Will surely pray everything works out for your MOM. HUGS
Ann, I love Asics. LOL on the fro! you are a mess!
Audrey, the food sound great! I post very little on FB for that reason.
Susi, glad to hear it went well.
Pam, sounds like a nice visit with your mom.
