Ten healthy habits you should form
Keep to a meal routine: eat at roughly the same times each day. People who succeed at long term weight loss tend to have a regular meal rhythm (avoidance of snacking and nibbling). A consistent diet regimen across the week and year also predicts subsequent long-term weight loss maintenance.
Go for healthy fats: choose to eat healthy fats from nuts, avocado and oily fish instead of fast food. Trans-fats are linked to an increased risk of heart-disease.
Thoughts, comments? What is your favorite healthy fat?

A consistent diet regimen across the week and year also predicts subsequent long-term weight loss maintenance. I don't do the time thing...if I get up at 6am or 9am I eat shortly thereafter and that impacts when I am hungry for lunch...kind of follow my body's needs/wants. I do have a similar meals daily but not exactly the same very day.
Go for healthy fats: choose to eat healthy fats from nuts, avocado and oily fish instead of fast food. Trans-fats are linked to an increased risk of heart-disease. I like all the healthy and many of the unhealthy fats (cream, butter, etc) but a favorite healthy one...probably use olive oil most often but do love cashews and other nuts, too.

Lately I've been eating when I get hungry more than having a set time for meals. My dinner is usually around 7, although I have put it off for awhile if I'm not feeling hungry at that time. Breakfast is usually around 9, but lunch and dinner can vary.
I guess nuts are my favorite fat, although I love avocado too. I cook with olive oil, so that is the one I use the most. If I need a snack I'll often include some nuts.

We generally eat at about the same times every day. Breakfast about 8, lunch a bit after 12 & dinner at 6. Gotta have those 3 squares!!! LOL
My favorite fat is probably olive oil, I find it very flavorful drizzled over veggies, etc.

Because I am still working, on weekdays that dictates my meal times. I eat breakfast before work (around 7:30am) and lunch at 1230pm. Dinner depends on what time I get home and whether I go out to work in the yard before dinner.
Even on the weekends I kinda stick to the same schedule. More like to eat lunch/dinner later if I am busy doing something else on the weekends.
I occasionally eat avocado. Probably the most used healthy fat in my diet would be olive oil or nuts- almonds or walnuts are the 2 that I eat the most.

We eat our meals at approximately the same time.
My favorite healthy oil is virgin olive oil. I use it when I cook and to drizzle over veggies.
Thanks for stepping up this week Cherry.
