Karen, thanks for the start. Good luck with Osteo and the new shoes. How was dinner? It sounded delicious. I bet Dale was glad to be home. How is the tummy today? I put celery, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, salad turnips, red bell pepper and snow peas on the veggie tray. There are plenty leftover for snacks.
Kathy, the Wally World near me is busy but not crazy busy after the morning rush hour and before noon. I wouldn’t touch it at 5 pm on weekdays or on the weekends. I like both the Pomi tomato sauce and the Pomi chopped tomatoes. I wish a store near me carried them. I am glad you a d DM avoided the rain. We had a few sprinkles last night and this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be dry. YAY!
Becky, it will be nice to go to AF and workout and socialize. Have you been doing any exercises with weights like cans or exercise bands or are you going to have to start from scratch? Pretty butterfly in your picture.
Linda, any word about the AC? Good luck to Bob on his prep. I loved the pic and ain’t it the truth.
Liz, good luck on your return to work today. The weather looked awful on GMA.
We had a visitor in our backyard this morning. For the first time we saw a racoon. I am afraid I jad to scare him off. I don’t want one of those critters taking up residence. They are destructive. I got a picture. Ikll have to see if I can put it as my avatar. I spent a lot of my morning on the phone with the prescription company. Ugh! I am on my way to my basement workout to vent. The sciatica seems to have eased up since I had a killer muscle spasm in my upper hip area yesterday morning. Go figure!

Karen, thanks for the start.
Chele, cute critter, but you're right that they are destructive. I've seen them around here near the woods, but haven't seen them at my house. The first time my trash was tipped, I thought maybe it was a racoon, but it turned out to be bears. It's rumbling loudly outside and just started pouring again. Glad you're getting a dry day tomorrow. They changed our forecast to include rain for tomorrow too. I turned my sprinklers off a week ago, so at least I'm saving money on my water bill. I'd probably venture into Wally World if we had one nearby, but the drive itself is a pain. It's on a very congested road, so it's just not worth it to me. I do use their website once in a while. Sorry you're having to deal with the prescription company. The last one I filled took me weeks to get straightened out, so I feel your frustration. Exercise is a good way to vent. I hope Publix continues to carry Pomi. Waving to all. Have a great day.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Chele The veggie tray sounds good.I saw that butterfly online and I had to have it since it's a TX butterfly.I haven't been doing any weights but if I just do the classes I don't think they use weights.I am glad your sciatica has eased up but sorry about the RX company problem. You sure don't want that critter around.
Waving to all.

Chele, the veggie tray sounds amazing! Dinner was good but I only picked at the broccoli because I knew the tacos wouldn't be good if I saved one for today. It also came with cabbage and apple slaw so I'll have that and the broccoli for dinner either today or tomorrow. Shoes are great. No numb feet! I wore them to work out on the NuStep then wore them the rest of the day. Feet feel ok. Dale was very glad to be home and able to sleep in his own bed last night without nightbirds and drunks. I found Pomi organic strained tomatoes at Publix today and I think I will add garlic and mushrooms and they will make a nice sauce. Thanks again for the suggestion. Your raccoon was out in the daytime? That may not be a good thing. While they sometimes are out in the daytime, they are mainly nocturnal. So, if it comes back, watch it very closely because there is a possibility of rabies. You definitely don't want it moving in, especially if it's a mama with babies near by. Cute little dickens though. Is the muscle spasm gone now. OUCH!! Those can be really painful. I hope you got things straight with your pharmacy phone call. DM tended to have issues with them from time to time and it was a major inconvenience at best and a potential danger to your health at worst. Do you and Iggy have weekend plans?
I like our little WM Neighborhood Market, Kathy. They don't have apparel or home goods, but if you're looking for mainly groceries, pharmacy items and cleaning supplies, it has all of those. I've been in ours at all times of day and it is busy sometimes but, like Chele's not crazy. You certainly are getting your share of rain. I'm glad you and DM dodged the rain drops yesterday. Good to be able to stay home today with the thunderstorms you're getting. I got some great BOGOs at Publix today, including my beloved kombucha. So I got a dozen, since I was only paying for 6. That makes it about as cheap as when I refill my bottles in Asheville.
Becky, I LOVE that Texas butterfly on bluebonnets. I would guess it's photo shopped because I have never seen a butterfly that looks like the TX flag. What kind of class will you be participating in at AF?
How's the leg, Liz? Did you have good weather yesterday, despite what you have today? Did it get as cold as what they said it would? Any word on potential surgery for Zoe?
Linda, any word on the AC fix? Does Bob have an early appointment tomorrow? Will you go out for breakfast afterward? I hope all goes well.
Dale turned in his notice today and they are trying to talk him into working an extra month so they can get some new staff trained. I'm ok with that. It will be nice to have another month's pay coming in. Osteo went fine and I picked up a "doctor's packet" to share with my new NP on Tuesday. I'll add it to everything else I plan to take with me. I hope she won't be overwhelmed but will be on the same page with me. We'll see. We have wind gusts in the 20+ mph range this afternoon. Don't know what it's blowing in but I hope it gets here quickly. Arya had me up to go out about 4 and then threw up about 4:30. So I am major sleep deprived this week because I didn't sleep well while Dale was gone. I really need a nap but it's time to start dinner, so no time.

Karen I just found that TX flag butterfly online yesterday so yes I imagine it has been photoshopped.I have no idea what the AF classes will involve.I don't get the new insurance until 9/1 and I will have to wait for my Silver Sneakers card before I can go.You have had the winds today.I hope Arya feels better.Good luck with your new NP next week. What kind of shoes did you get that don't hurt your feets?
Linda Today must have been a bad case of Murphy's Law for you today. If it could go wrong it did.I hope you can get the key situation for the car resolved and good luck to Bob tomorrow.I didn't know you could get a mammo on a Saturday.
My old sneakers had gotten to where it was getting harder & harder to walk on the road.We went to Academy in Bastrop today and I bought some Skechers with the memory foam insoles and so far they feel comfortable but I haven't taken a walk in them yet.I rode the bike this afternoon and both of my knees have been hurting and of course the right hurts worse than the left.

Linda, you had quite a day. Like about 4 days of issues rolled into one. Good thing that the plumber came. Could be quite a challenge with Bob doing the prep otherwise. Thanks for the flour recall info. I use the King Arthur bread flour but haven't bought AP flour in a while because we don't use that much. I don't know if your car had the same problem with the key, but the Accord coupe did something kind of similar so after the first time it did it, I knew how to get around it. Like Becky, I was surprised your mammo is on a Saturday. Doesn't happen around here.
I didn't catch that you don't get your new insurance til 9/1, Becky. I think you can register on the Silver Sneakers site and print a temporary card until your permanent one arrives. The shoes I got are 361⁰ Stratus 2 that I found on a sporting goods outlet I subscribe to. They retail for $150 and I got them for $49.99 with free shipping. The toe box is really roomy and I replaced the shoestrings with the no-tie elastic ones and was able to make them a little looser to give me a little more room in the forefoot. Nice to be able to wear "real" shoes again. Arya seems to be feeling ok, but I hope we don't have a repeat tonight. Hope the Skechers will help you to be able to walk without pain. I looked at a pair but they were too cushy for my feet.

Karen I don't turn 65 until 8/24 which is why the insurance doesn't take effect until Sept.I don't have a printer so I will just wait until I register and get my card.I like the memory foam inserts because I have flat feet and need the extra support.
