Linda, I hope after Bob’s procedure your day gets better than yesterday. You had a doozy of a day. Thanks for the tip the flour recall. I use their bread flour and nOt AP flour. I wish I had seen that video when my Volvo’s key would not turn.
Karen, I am glad the shoes worked out for you. I am going to have to look for those no tie laces. My feet swell when I am walking and then I have to loosen the laces. One more month at full pay will be great but I am sure Dale is anxious to get it over with. We had strong wind gusts yesterday but only a little rain. There are leaves all over the yard again. How is your little sweet potato today? Did you get to sleep later than 4am?
Kathy, we haven’t had to turn on the sprinklers at all so far. In fact, the farmers are late planting we have had so much rain. A lot of them are switching from corn to soy beans because of the shorter growing period and this may mean higher prices for things such as cereal. Becky, I used to enjoy the classes at the gym when I went to one. I look forward to nearing what kind they have.
Liz, I am sure you are glad it is Friday. I hooe you get to put your feet up this weekend.
We are going to one or two Farmer’s Markets in the morning and Iggy wants to grill tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to rain again. I think we may go to our Vietnamese restaurant tonight. No sign of Rocky Raccoon. Iggy thought she may have been pregnant from her size and waddle. He also does not want her to find a home in the yard.

Linda, at least they were just polyps. Glad it wasn't any worse, but sorry he has to repeat in 3 years. The Accord had exactly the same situation with the steering wheel lock sticking. Never had to replace anything, just remember to turn the wheel if the key wouldn't move. Never have that problem with the Subaru's keyless start. Good luck with the car appointment and the mammogram. Sorry about Krispy Kreme, but the muffins are healthier anyway.
Enjoy visiting the farmers tomorrow, Chele. What will you be looking at for the grill? I put in a CSA order this morning and next week we'll be feasting on broccoli, potatoes, kale, chard, and tomatoes. I will finish up the last of the current chard I have today and will be finished with the remaining kale by next week. I still have a couple of tomatoes left and had one of them with Dave's Killer Bread for lunch. YUM! Rocky (Rachel?) Raccoon may have been pregnant, but if it was a wobbly gait could also be rabid. Every pair of shoes I have with laces has one brand or other of elastic laces in them. That was so much easier back in my triathlon days because it's difficult enough to get shoes on wet feet after getting out of the pool. And they don't come untied. Look around to find a brand you like because there are so many different ones. Probably the iBungee Laces are the easiest but they don't have a large assortment of colors available. That's not a problem for Dale, but I like my laces to be color-coordinated with my shoes. So I got a pair of Xpand because they were the right color and they were a pain to install. But they do look good. Lock Laces are also pretty easy to install but they cost more. The group Dale works with is pretty agreeable, so I think he is ok to working a little longer to get them where they need to be before he leaves, which was a bit of a surprise. We had the wind yesterday and no rain. Must have been the same front. My little sweet potato has finally settled down. She got up around 5. Beats 4, and she didn't throw up this morning. Progress and an extra hour of sleep.
Becky, I forgot you were coming up on a milestone birthday, hence the change in your insurance. I called about getting Dale on my dental insurance and I think it's a few bucks cheaper than it was when I took him off the last time. So we'll save a couple of bucks there. What did you do today?
Did your rain finally quit, Kathy? How full is the pond? Got plans for the weekend?
Liz, how's the leg? I hope the pain level has decreased.
We started out with a cool morning (mid 50s) so I figured a swim wasn't advisable so I just used the rowing machine. I finally made the baked beans and will steam Dale some cauliflower for dinner. I may have picked the last of our garden-grown arugula as it's bolting pretty badly. I do have one Asian eggplant that is growing nicely. Might be the only thing I can get to grow this year. I printed some things out to take to the meeting with the new NP on Tuesday, so that should be done. Planning to read a little this afternoon.

Karen, fingers crossed she sleeps until six tomorrow!
Wish our farmers market were closer without wretched traffic to get through.Use to be a little one a mile away, but no more.

Thanks for the start Karen.
Linda I hope Bob's procedure went well.I am glad they were only polyps. They always find polyps when I go.Good luck with the mammo and car appointment.
Chele I'm glad Rocky has gone away.Enjoy the farmers markets tomorrow.
Karen Of course I could change insurance every open enrollment before I turn 65 but after then I will have to use whoever ERS chooses.I did think it was odd that Humana has the medical part and United covers the RX part.I guess it saves the state money.I never get dental insurance b/c I already have dentures so they wouldn't pay much anyway. We went to the PO,bank, feed store and HEB this morning. They had both blueberries and blackberries on sale for once so I'm set for the weekend.I rode the recumbent bike this morning and since it's hot and humid today I will do another round on the bike. Also giving my knees a little break on not walking on the road.We have been in the upper 60's the last 3 mornings and it has been so nice.Unfortunately that is gone and will only get down to 73 in the morning and we have a hot and humid weekend in store.I hope Arya is better.
Waves to all.

Chele, I almost always need to water at least once a week, but had to change it to twice a week when we didn't have rain for 15 days. I guess it evens out since now I have them turned off. Cereal is already so expensive. I imagine that affects a lot of other products too. The FL farmers have had a lot of weather issues in the past few years too. I don't think they grow corn here, but some of them do grow soy beans. Hope you have some good finds at the Farmer’s Markets tomorrow. That's good that there's no sign of the raccoon. You especially don't want baby raccoons around!
Linda, sorry for the awful day yesterday and glad it wasn't anything worse for Bob. I had to have my previous car's ignition switch replaced, but it was a recall. The key was still sticky sometimes. Mine was also an Accord Coupe, so probably the same issues as Karen's. My latest Accord has the push button start. Hope all goes well with your appointments tomorrow. You deserve a break after all this! I have the same situation with the farmer's markets not being close and in awful traffic and parking areas. I keep hoping they'll open one closer to home.
Karen, the pond is almost full. It looked like rain all day, but we only got one brief shower and some sprinkles. I guess this was our "dry" day. I'm sure Dale's group will be happy to have him a little longer and the extra money will be nice. I did the same thing with my group and it was nice to go out on a good note. You really cooled off there. We're in the mid 80s today, so that is about as cool as we'll get this time of year. Glad Arya is doing better.
Waving to Becky and Liz.
