MJ - I think I missed something. What happened to Pop Lockman? Whatever it is, lots of prayers your way. This is Toots' BabySis' father-in-law. He's had health issues for a long time, esp heart/breathing, and was in assisted living until he insisted on moving back out on his own (<oy>, but DBabySis and her DH kept a close eye and he was nearby). He was in and out of hospital randomly for those issues, but this last time looks like The Last Time. ☀️🌻☀️🌻☀️🌻☀️🌻☀️ The headache/antihistamine tabs worked, and I ended up at WW Breakfast after all. Good group of 8 this month. Small diner but good food. Now the Kressling's getting ready to head back home-ish, to his brother's soccer game. We will drop him off and then drop off L/O pizza at the MousekeHouse (we forgot to send it home with them, but MousekeTWO does remember that he has dibs on a slice). The rest of the day? Maybe some gardening and some more basement decluttering, and then NASCAR truck series at 8:30 tonight. I've got L/O chicken or pork to use for dinner.

I just heard that they had to admit my friend's DD as he has a mild concussion. He's in his mid 80's so it's a good thing. Becky we don't grocery shop at Walmart either. I'm not fond of their meat or produce. Can goods and things like that are okay. It's HOT here right now. We took LuLa for a very short walk and now she is lying under the ceiling fan 'cooling off' I'm going to accomplish a few things while Carl is yapping outside with a neighbor. Maybe I'll do some 'downsizing'

I can’t remember everything when I read on my phone and can’t scroll up.
June you have done the very best for your parents and your mother is in a great facility if they’re mixing patients of different abilities. My mom had a similar experience and they never moved her room from the very front where she could watch people come and go all day long if she was in her room. I am amazed you gained so little with so much stress Susi, I admire you for trying to repair a relationship that ended seven years ago. It is wonderful that you and Carroll are so close in on the same page and hopefully this will be a good weekend with your friends.
Cathy, I’m glad your daughter arrive safely and hope we look forward to wonderful time with her.
I will try to catch up more later

Thank you for your prayers for Ron "Pop" Lockman and his family; he passed away this morning.
Not unexpected, but somehow always a surprise.

The exercise physiologist tested my heart rate based on a resting rate and then after aerobic activity on a stationary bicycle. He reviewed a lot of data I had from other test and then came up with a plan for me for stretches and different types of physical activity that I should be able to follow. Right now I am on information overload so when I get home I need to make a chart of the things I need to do and then put them in a schedule beginning with the last two weeks of June. Stretching is seven days a week but the times are different for the other things. After going back-and-forth between his office and the clubhouse and back to him again because I forgot to give him the watch measuring heart rate and them all the way up to my room I realized I had left my room key on my table. Luckily I had by bag of things with me with the phone number for the office and someone brought me a key. It is 250 in the afternoon 100° outside and I have already done close to 12,000 steps. So instead of this Jacuzzi I will take a shower and begin to pack for tomorrow staying in the room until my facial at four. This is Plan B

Regarding Walmart it is absolutely impossible to beat their shelf prices on all over the counter medications personal products and anything grocery related that is the shelf item. They supposedly sell the finest quality of frozen shrimp and I have bought it there although the store very close to me rents it on sale every week. I have found items like pickles with Tabasco flavoring that I have never seen any other local store and they’re cheaper than Vlasic and the other common brands. Boxed tea is another super cheap item and they’re excellent brands. So I don’t go there as often as Becky but I’ve been trying to do it at least every other week rather than giving away money to local grocery stores.

Audrey I do notice their Great Value brand on shelf items is cheaper than even the store brand at our local grocery store.Blueberries were $1.98 per pint and blackberries were $1.95 for a 6 oz container at my local grocery store that WM couldn't even touch for that price. However my Diet Dr Pepper's and Sprite zero's are always cheaper at Walmart than at the grocery store so I always get those there. When I drank hot tea I always bought it at Walmart. So I think it depends on where a person lives and what the person is looking for.If we had a bigger variety at our local WM I'm sure they would always be busy.
