Fred's going to try to golf this morning but calling for thunderstorms to start at 7 so he might get rained out.
Debbie heard from her lawyer yesterday and the court clerks have given her some dates but she's waiting to see what works for Jeff and his lawyer. I'm pretty sure no date will work for Jeff as it never does but was surprised that now his lawyer is semi-retired so taking lots of vacations and not easily available. To me that's a crock as at some point someone needs to step up and say this case needs to be finished as it's gone on too long and tell her no more vacations until it's complete!
Nothing else new here. I don't even ask Cindy anymore about the $20,000 as we always get the same answer.
I'm down 3 1/2 pounds since Monday and I'm just being so careful on carbs and sugar which also keeps calories in check. I'm tracking on my fitness pal and that makes it so easy to watch carbs, sugar and cholesterol. I'm also having my 2 tbsp of vinegar in 16 oz of water and a little sweetener to make it taste okay every night. Funny how that has also made it possible for me to actually sleep the night through. It'll be interesting to see if it helped lower my A1C.
So Sunday it'll just be us and Debbie which will be nice. We'll take steaks and brats to grill and she has asparagus too. Whatever isn't eaten we'll leave for her to have during the week since it's just her from tomorrow until the end of July. I just hope Maija and Sam only go to places with lots of people and not off the beaten path where anything could happen.
Debbie bought a game she calls bags but is called corn hole in Mike's neck of the woods and said we can play that and she also has her pool ready so said we could swim. The game sounds fun but I can't swim so I won't go in the pool as it doesn't look like it has a shallow part. It's kidney shape but nobody knows how deep it is and it's been too cold to check the depth.

Good Morning Phyl and June Bugs,
This morning it is 67* and going up to 88* and partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and winds NW 10 to 15 mph.
I don't know if there are any special plans for today, so we'll just wait and see what comes up. Maybe it will be another quiet day.
I was surprised when I woke up at 6:30 and saw that DGD Rachael had Hunter out in the yard and Bailey wanted to join them so she woke me up. I put her out and when they came in I had their breakfast ready for them. Now both dogs are sound asleep again and I've had my early morning medicine, so I can have breakfast in an hour.

Thanks for the spider info, Phyl. Son, wife, and my youngest grand, the college graduate, are coming today.
Rain is back in the forecast for tonight, but looks like any time now. 74 to 93 cloudy.
Sandy, congratulations on your loss. Way to go!
More coffee needed. Laters, laters. Have a great day. ITSY BITSY SPIDER LUCY

Hi!
We had thought we might have DGD3 today, but no call! Guess she had a sleepover with a friend. She's that age. We went to see DGS2's camp performance yesterday afternoon and were very impressed with the work the teachers had done with those kids. Everyone sang out, so we could hear the songs well. They mostly stayed in step for the dance routines, and all but one girl remembered the lines to the solos for the songs. It was three teachers with about 40 kids, of varying ages from 8 to 14. We really enjoyed it!
I have no idea what any of the family is up to today. No one has called with ideas for tomorrow, so we intend to wait and see what happens. If nothing does -- nobody calls -- we'll go to brunch as usual, after church. I have two small steaks to cook for our dinner tomorrow evening and a couple of potatoes to bake.
Be happy today! Diane

Phyl, what did you buy at the quilt show?
It is really gloomy here this morning but according to the weather last night the next batch of storms may go north of us. fine with me. I am supposed to go with DD#2 and DSIL to visit the new house to see how DGS is progressing, did hear they just pushed the old arbor over, by the back door, It was wobbly and pretty bad looking. If they are painting today will watch and visit with them. maybe take a picture or two as DGD#1 is very interested in what they are doing.
Emma got her first swing outside this last week. she was laughing and singing in the video. I Love swings and my Dad always made sure I had one in the tree no matter where we lived. I could sit and swing and read for hours. Funny could not read in moving car but the swing was fine.
Calli is sitting in window sill here with me. I need to order her cat food so will be back later to see what is going on.
Funny the court doesn't set the date and say they have to be there. That is what would happen here, my DD had to take time off everything when there was a court date. Gosh Sandy you must be beyond frustrated and hard when you DD does not want to hear that!! Maybe Jeff's lawyer is upset with him and doesn't want him as a client anymore. Making excuses. The court should just say BE THERE!!!

Good morning ladies!!! No sun shine here this morning Sammy and I had to cut our garden walk short because of a rain shower this morning. It's not raining out now so I think I'll grab my tablet and a drink and head out on the deck to set and read while Sammy keeps a eye on the sidewalk!!! That's his thing to do when we are outside. It's nice and cool 71° now and going up to 83° later to day. We are supposed to get more rain showers today again. I just wonder when all this rain will go away? I just hope the gnats go away soon. I didn't see any this morning they don't like the cool weather or the wind!!!
We couldn't walk inside in the garden this morning because it was to wet from the rain last night. Rob watered the garden yesterday because it needed it and then of course we got rain last night!!! So it is really wet now!!!
Rob plans to smoke dinner tomorrow for Father's Day for his Dad!!! Rob and I will to to the store today to get what he needs to cook. I will have Desert something that Ted likes. I don't know if T J will be here tomorrow for Father's Day. We haven't heard anything from them this week yet. Their was a young couple looking at the house next store this morning. They where over there a long time so maybe they will make an offer on it!!! There is another house on the market at the entrance of our subdivision. It was the other style of house that I really liked when we had our house built. The pictures of it on line are Gorgeous and they want $275,000 for it! I bet they will get that price for it!!! St. Louis is having a Parade Downtown today For the Saint Louis Blues Hockey Team. Ted said their is over 500,000 people down there!!! Ted is watching it on tv now!!! When they won the other night we had a lot of loud fireworks going off in our subdivision!!! They are saying this is the biggest party St. Louis has ever had!!!! They even have the Budweiser clydesdale horses out there For the parade!!!! The Saint Louis Blues Hockey Rally will start in about another hour and the Arch Grounds is almost full!!! Market St. is full of people all the way to the Arch Grounds!!!! Our Ball Park is full also!!!!
Have a great day all!!!

Hello, June Bugs!
Today has been a quiet day here. DH helped DD and the two DGDs paint the Sunday school room this morning. They used special paint to make a large white board, then painted the remainder of the room in various pastel shades. DH says it looks real good.
I baked muffins and some chocolate cupcakes this morning. I met DH and the kids for lunch; but I had just eaten breakfast, so I didn't eat. It was fun to sit with them, and the conversation is always lively.
I stopped by a grocery store and picked up a couple of roasts plus a few other things. I have the roasts in the InstantPot now.
Since our cable is not working, we are taking the time to figure out if we could get almost the same service from an antenna and streaming. We're having to learn what terms mean as we go along! LOL! Might be a good thing. (Just checked the cable, it's on.)
No news here. It's good to see Peggysue and Phyl back! ~~Molly
