Hi All,
Sue, sorry for the delayed response on the points and how to cash them in for goodies on WW. I just saw it now, but glad you figured it out at the meeting. Did you get something yet? My friend said the gifts are actually very good quality. I'll give you a report when I get my insulated tote bag. :-) I am glad your DH's doctor prescribed another similar drug similar to the one he stopped taking because they must have felt the med was a necessary part of his regimen. That must be a relief to you, too. I hope he has fun up north with his VBF. Sounds like it!
Pam, your Italian lunch sounded scrumptious, too, but I am with you. When it's scampi, I like the garlic and oil and nothing too heavy! I spent an hour this morning at AAA renewing my own driver's license. Better to get it over with when things are fairly quiet at work since they are only open during work hours. I'm good to go now!
Oh, Sue, I am so glad you mentioned the Google snafu. I think it did affect email as well. The reason I think that is that my DSIL in FL tried to write to my DS and DDIL re: the new baby and both emails (to gmail came back). It made no sense to me until you mentioned that. I'll tell her to try again!
Ann, I am like you. Many of my library Overdrive ebooks expire too soon. Ugh! I must have too many. I am still re-reading all of Sue Grafton and nearly done with the B right now! I need to start Crawdads before it poofs away. Did you like it?

Good morning all. Didn't sleep well at all last night...my mind was going in circles. At least I'll be able to rest up today as I have nothing on my agenda.
Judy I did enjoy Crawdads. Hope you do as well.
Will try to CBL

Waving to all of you. This is my last working day until July 10- HOORAY! It will be nonstop at the Cape with loads of company, but I will try to check in when I can. Please know that I will be reading your posts at every opportunity but may not have time to write too much. You never know, though! I need my accountability friends!
I swear that scale is the most fickle thing in the world. After totally derailing yesterday with even a donut, lunch and dinner out, I was down 2.5 lbs today. Makes zero sense but I am taking it! I have been walking which may have boosted my lazy metabolism. That's all I can think it is.
Ann, I hope you are having a restful day and I'll bbl.

Happy Anniversary Ann! Enjoy your celebration.
We’re at the camp and yesterday was a blow out in terms of points, but I did mow the entire lawn and took the stairs (30)several times, so hopefully I worked some of it off. We enjoyed the Dungeness crabs at the casino buffet for dinner. Tonight DH will grill a steak for me and hamburger steak for himself.
Right now I am waiting for a pedicure and then plan to go “treasure hunting “ at Dirt Cheap. Waving to y’all!

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~ Happy Saturday! I had to look at the calendar to be sure what day it is, since DH isn't home to ask We have a beautiful sunny day on tap with high in the upper 70's and supposedly going to stay this way all weekend. We'll take it!! It's about time and we certainly are ready for it!! The low 80's are forecast and supposed to stay around through the end of the month. I slept very well again and woke about 7 a.m. which is my usual time. I had coffee then started on a couple of household projects about 9 a.m. and am just now taking a break. I stopped once to eat a bowl of cereal about 10:30 and after this posting I will get back to it and finish. So far I have stripped my bed and changed to the summer quilt (teddy bears and stars& stripes) with summer sheets; stripped the bathroom and cleaned everything then redecorated in red/white/blue rugs & towels for the summer. It looks so nice and smells so nice and the bright colors really make me smile. They will make DH smile when he gets home also. I worked yesterday in a school with no telephone signal and very little wi-fi signal, so when I left school my phone blew up with all the calls and texts I had gotten all day. DH called from Up North and had called me in the morning and when I didn't call back he looked at Google calendar and sure enough saw that I was scheduled to work at 8 am. I took care of all my calls while I was driving to Sam's Club (using hands free of course) to stock up on Premier Protein drinks while they were on sale. I got a carton of Strawberry and one of Banana as well as a new product called Premier Clear in the tropical punch flavor. It is only 20 gm of protein and only 1 SP but I think it will be a nice treat for Summertime. By the time I got home I was beat, so pretty much just vegged out during the evening, and went to bed about 9 o'clock. I treated myself to a bowl of low-fat NSA butter pecan ice cream from Kroger as I had been very mindful all day. I had made a batch of white bean with grape tomato and onion salad with FF Zesty Italian dressing. It came out to 0 SP per serving so I had one Thursday night and the rest last night. I am reviving some of my "summer salad" recipes that I don't use in the colder weather. I also had a plastic container of grilled chicken tenders which I finished up last night. So I have mopped the kitchen floor and brought up the summer weight rugs and also summer weight throw rugs for the living room. As soon as I finish vacuuming, I can start putting everything back in place and be done for today. I think this will be a good day's work. I need to run to Meijer as DH now has three Rx waiting. One that I requested from the doctor's office never went through, so I made a couple of calls and got it fixed and now it is ready for pick-up. He can start his new med (Plavix) when he gets home tonight. Does anyone have any experience with this med?? Judy ~ I haven't ordered anything with my WW Win points yet. I am still looking. Have a good time at the Cape!! Ann ~ Happy Anniversary! Do enjoy your dinner on Sunday. You have plenty of days to "make up". Did I miss your mention of how your appointment with the surgeon went?? Pam ~ Sounds like you are having a great time as well. It all sounds good to me, from the crabs to the steak, to the pedi, and including the "treasure hunting". Enjoy!! DH just texted me that they haven't left for home yet and it's already mid-day so I will take my time finishing up and showering and dressing then go get his meds and come home and read until he gets here. We have turkey burgers ready (along with avocado and swiss) with broccoli/feta salad (his declared *favorite*) ..... or ..... we have strawberries ready for topping waffles and turkey sausage. I'll let him decide since I don't know what he's had the past few days (while he's been away). Yikes! I just remembered that our Meijer store is celebrating a "Grand Opening" as they recently remodeled inside and outside. Oh well, I still need his Rx's so I will have to go brave the crowds. BBL. Make a great day!!

Back from our celebrating and we had a blast. We went to a place noted for their fish. Carl had fried clams slaw and fries and I had the fish and chips (haddock) and it was very good. Too full to even think of sharing a dessert I thank you for your Anniversary wishes and posts. They mean a lot to me. Sue sounds like you were VERY busy. I'm sure you are looking forward to DH coming home. Enjoy the grand opening and I hope it's not too crowded! Pam my 'blow out' was today with the Anniversary meal. Oh well...it happens Hope you score some good deals and enjoy your pedicure. Sue I have no knowledge of Plavix. Wishing your DH good success with it. Starting a new med is hard. Will keep him in my prayers. Well, it's time for me to relax until the sun goes down before we attempt to walk miss LuLa. Actually with what I ate I should RUN around our hood LOL. Take care, all.

Good morning all. I got in a full 7 hours of sleep which I haven't done in awhile and it felt really good. Sunny today and supposed to get into the 80's. I do need to pick up a few things at our local supermarket....especially fresh produce. After that not sure what's on our agenda. I may just putter around inside while Carl deals with the yard work. Judy I bet you are having a blast at the Cape. Will CBL. Enjoy Sunday, all

Good Morning, WW Friends ~ Happy Sunday!! We have a beautiful sunny day here and I have all the doors and windows open. In fact, we slept with the bedroom window open last night and I loved the fresh air!! Ann ~ So happy to hear that you had your anniversary celebration and that you enjoyed it so much! To my way of thinking, that is a great way to celebrate a milestone. Also happy to hear that you got a good night's sleep as that is so healing in so many ways. I am so happy with the fruits of my labors yesterday. I still have some things to do, but not today. Today I may start on laundry since I already have it sorted and ready. On the other hand, if the mood does not move me, I may put it off until tomorrow. I went to bed early last night and also slept in until 8 o'clock (intentionally) so I feel very rested today. Not much on our agenda today either, so it will be a nice relaxing one. BBL. Make a great day!!

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Happy hot, sunny afternoon! DH and I went to lunch with his VBF at his restaurant and visited for a while. Then we went to the Greenhouse that we like and picked out some flowers to pot. We got a large begonia with a spike plant in the center for the front porch (which looks just like the one we got last year) and then a flat of multi-colored petunias which we used to fill two pots and one long basket that all hang on the privacy wall on our patio. They are visible from our door wall when we get up in the morning, so will be sure to bring many smiles!! So many of them had no blossoms right now that I couldn't plant "according to color" and will just have to settle for being surprised.
Laundry will have to wait for another day. DH finally got around to unpacking his duffel bag so the mountain has grown - but tomorrow is another day! I don't have a work assignment until Friday of this week unless someone calls, so I'll have some time to catch up laundry AND reading!!
I had a HB egg and half an orange for breakfast - then a salad topped with Krab salad and a pita for lunch. I am stuffed right now so supper is really up for grabs!?! I'll wait until DH gets back from Kroger to see what he feels like.
I have on shorts and sleeveless for the first time, only because I was sitting on the sun-drenched patio doing my planting and I was roasting! Feels good after being cold for so long .....

Sue I envy those that have a green thumb and an eye for picking out and planting flowers. I bet they will look great.
Hapoy you enjoyed your day out with friends.
Happy to say my laundry is done folded and put away.
Going to have a coffee while waiting for it to get cooler so we can walk LuLa.
Waving.

Waving from beautiful Cape Cod! What wonderful weather we are having. I’m on the patio looking at the water. DH is finishing up some mowing on his tractor. The house is sparkling clean and DH and I did work in the yard yesterday to put down a new rug on the patio and bring out all the sunbrella furniture and umbrella. He made two trips to the dump bringing yard clippings . I walked D&D a few times around the circle and caught up with neighbors. Then I read for awhile and relaxed getting geared up for the onslaught! Lol DD and the crew arrive at 7 am on Tuesday am. Her DH arrives on Saturday. I made a WW blue apron meal tonight- grilled chicken with a potato salad and green beans. The chicken was coated in a southern spice and the green beans had a spicy maple syrup sauce. The potato salad was served warm with a mustardy dressing. Very tasty!! I have been focusing on fruits and had pineapple and cantaloupe fur snacks. I am down a couple lbs.
Ann, happy anniversary!! Glad you had a great meal.
Sue, I’m glad your DH is home and sounds like you are enjoying great weather!!
Pam waving hi! I had a mani pedi too yesterday. Went with an ocean blue sea foam color!!
