Happy Day All!
Phyl - seems to be a lot of false starts around here lately - paintings, sewing, new air conditioners, etc. Next time will be the charm on the table runner.
Lin - hope your mouth is all okay today. Sure sounds painful.
BettyJ - I made marinated chicken breasts last night and didn't like them either. DDIL should at least pay you for the buttons that YOU buy! That wasn't very nice, but just wish "kids" were more thoughtful.
Mar - how in the world did you know to check the sticker online? I am so ignorant!
Emily - I was never good with babies. I have four stepkids, but never had my own and these were older when we got custody. I would also do much better with the 8 yr old boys!
PeggySue - love Patrick's picture. Did you see the thing on the news about dogs developing those puppy eyes over years to attract humans? An evoluntionary thing. I believe it! It works!
Connie - hope you had a fun lunch with your friend. It's so neat to reconnect.
Dayle - your nephew has sure come a long way. Happy for him.
Sue - I didn't know you had an MTBI! Your ocular migraines sure sound prettier than mine! Do you get a headache afterward? Enjoy those birds!
Can’t believe it’s not even 6 AM and here I am. Woke up off and on all night because I knew I had to get up to go to the shelter. Last time was 5 AM and could not go back to sleep. Phooey!
DH home safely yesterday and I thought Charlie was going to eat him up, he was so happy. DH left central FL at 2 AM (he couldn’t sleep either) and was home about 10:30 – exhausted. I had to put Charlie out as he wouldn’t let DH go to sleep on the couch. Charlie kept putting his head up under his arm, or on his shoulder with his nose touching DH’s chin. Nice, but annoying for sure.
Off to the shelter in a few minutes. It’s raining so I want to wait until there’s more light to go over the mountain.
Make your day a good one! Cheers!

Good morning Penny & ATF,
Rain today and currently 69; the high will be 74 ... Chance of thunderstorms too.
Yesterday was fun with my boys. Frankie and I played catch for a while. Vinny was busy doing chores. He started out dust mopping the living & dinning room floors. Then he went on to play his tablet. DD has assigned things for them to do during the summer so that they are not always on their electronic stuff. So far they are enjoying doing their assignments. I left around noon time and didn't do much of anything when I got home.
Today I'm staying home, going thru summer clothing and doing laundry as I'm going to DSIS to spend time with her. Saturday her GS will be 4 yrs. old and we will go to his party.
Have a great day, safe weekend and I'll be back Sunday after visiting with TJ.

Good Morning Everyone
Emily - Love that the twins have chores. Enjoy your visit/party at your DSIS.
Lin - Do hope your mouth is feeling better this morning.
Dayle - Loved the 'bounced for joy' comment. I really enjoy your long posts.
Need to check pantry/fridge/freezer and make a grocery list.
Everyone have a Well-Loved Wednesday.

Good morning everyone
Rough day yesterday with the a/c unit choices. All is good with that now. The owner of the company doing our installation checked with 3 different sources and apparently they put the same sticker on every a/c unit saying 14.5 seer as least efficient and showing the graph 26.0 is the most efficient. Very weird. I still don’t truly believe her but I know we have the correct model number. Just that it actually states in big bold numbers that it is 14.5 above the graph.
Today he will hopefully finish. Can’t imagine anything else going wrong. So far installation is going well. They do have a lot to do.

Morning All!
Penny didn’t expect you to start us up today, seeing that it is shelter day. Sounds like you had a very early start to your day. Maybe sneak a nap when you get home?
Lin, hope your dental issues are calming down. Did you need stitches in your gum? Ouch just thinking about it…..
Marilyn you are extremely good at handling repair and maintenance people for your home. Your husband doesn’t know how lucky he is to have you watching out. Great job! Hope the rest of the installation goes well.
Phil, sorry you had a ripping out day yesterday. As a matter of fact so did I. I’m trying to make a mini spider plant for one of the shelves in the mini living room. Yesterday I used water color, colored pencils and pastels to try and get the leaves to look life like. None of them pleased me. What I did end up with is something resembling a Hosta plant which I may decide to plant in my mini back yard. I think the fact that the leaves are too wide is what bothered me after all the fuss with the color. I will try again today. All my problems should be this earth shattering…..
Emily I can picture you playing catch with your grandkids. You are some really awesome grand mom! I like the idea of the boys having small chores during the summer. It keeps them somewhat busy, keeps them away from the tablets and Xboxes for a time and lets them know we all have to help out from time to time. Good parenting there!
Penny glad DH made it home safely and you have your company back. Sounds like Charlie sure missed him – are they partners in crime – those two?
Not sure I know what’s in store for today. My sister wrote me a note about her neighbor needing help with her kindle and amazon account. Now that I’m an expert on…… and very willing to help someone spend money.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Dayle

Finally understand the energy efficiency sticker on outside unit. Googled what she told me.
The seer efficiency level only matches the unit purchased if buying the a new inside furnace coil at same time. The outside unit will run at a lower level with a old coil. Sooo the sticker will state the minimum efficiency of 14.5 this unit will guarantee. We have bought the new furnace and coil that will bring it up to 17 seer. This sticker peals off and I have a feeling most installer take it off at installation. It’s big and bright yellow and ugly. We will peal it off.
Now you all know how the seer rating sticker works. Lol lol
be back later. They will be here soon.

Lin- glad your mouth feels better today. Hope dr visit goes well today.
Dayle- that’s good you can use the plant in the garden if not fitting on shelf.
Penny- glad hubby got home safely. I can picture the dog going crazy with excitement.
Emily- the boys sound so cute. It’s nice you can see them often.
So glad the weather is cooler. Easier for them to work in attic. It’s 65 right now and a high of 81. They are here now. Trying hard to just leave them alone.

Hi friends. Wrote a post earlier but it disappeared. Got my inside jobs done early then started on the outside. Pulled up some dead sod so I could plant some irises, got the planting done then watered everything and filled the bird feeders. By that time I was worn out. Showered and had lunch and now we're going to Fresh Thyme (Like Sprouts) to get some apricots and other fruit.
I still have a bunch of irises left but think I'll plant them way in back. Won't be so much digging, no sod there.
I didn't have to buy buttons, have plenty from my mom and MIL. Now my DGD wants me to make bandanas for the dog. Don't mind as long as they're not in a hurry.

Betty - I like sprouts. We have one about 5 miles from our house.
The installers are doing ok so far. Only went out there once to let them know I did not want conduits for electrical painted. They look fine the way they are. They were very happy to not paint them. They are along at bottom of house wall from outlet on patio to new unit on side of the house. Could not move the dedicated electrical line from old unit because of our vaulted ceilings. No way to pull the line from meter box. I think he was afraid to tell me. Lol lol. I am disappointed he could not do it but will be fine. It’s better than the unit on patio. He looked very relieved to not need to deal with me upset. Lol lol.
Not sure if they will be finished today. Not asking. I am really not bugging them at all. Staying in the house. Hubby is shocked. Haha
Fridge is working fine but still having them come out tomorrow.
