Good morning!
I brought DD car up to the mechanic to be serviced. It is only a block away, so all is well!
Nothing planned for today. I am a bit tired. Tomorrow I go to my workshop. I think I did better this week...
Have a goo day!

Good morning. I made one loaf of bread yesterday and did most of my laundry. Today I'll make a second loaf to take to my neighbor and do a last load of laundry. Yesterday I took a most delightful "walk" through the Nebraska cemetery with my son, where many of my Dad's relatives lived and are buried. He is on vacation and he called me on his way home. He was just outside of Lincoln, and I told him that it wasn't too far away where my dad was born. He would have been driving close by and I told him the name of the little town they had lived near so he took a side trip and found the area and the cemetery. He face timed me and we "walked" through it, finding many graves of our relatives. I had been there years ago with my parents and we met a 90 year old cousin who lived there in that time period. She was sharp as a tack and was able to tell us lots of things about the family and showed us where they had lived. My kids were little at the time and they stayed home with their dad. My son was old enough to remember us going on that trip and has always been fascinated with the geology search I did with that side of our family. I'm glad he called when he did so he could go see for himself the area and the cemetery. It is a beautiful area, and the cemetery itself is located on a bend of the river that runs by there and there are lots of trees in the cemetery and the grass was very green. I was able to see it again without putting up with all the mosquitoes that my son found there. Have a nice day, beaches.

Morning ladies,
Raining here this morning, hoping it will clear later in the day.
Yesterday, I attended a funeral at my church, I had intended to pick up SIL on my way home & us do a little shopping, after putting on a half way descent pair of shoes for the funeral, my foot was throbbing. I called SIL & postponed our little trip until today. There are a couple of little shops in our little town that I wanted to shop at to get DIL#2 a bday gift. In the "old" part of our little town, they have turned most of the old buildings into quaint little shops, they have replaced the street lights with those little lantern looking posts. It is really quite charming. I am glad to see it turned into something, rather than setting there mostly abandoned like it was a few yrs ago. Several little coffee shop type places have popped up too. Now it is kind of a hip place & young people are hanging out there, even complete with a couple of little sidewalk cafes. Hopefully the rain will let up shortly & we can go today.
Cathy, sounds like DD's visit is coming to an end. Shame she couldn't stay longer. Enjoy every second.
Happy Thursday everyone!

Iβm in. Pushed the reset button today. Weβve enjoyed the get away to Co Springs and chose to enjoy food we havenβt had for awhile. Started today with healthy breakfast choices. Back on track and smiling. We were glad to have sunshine yesterday as we drove around CO Springs. Looking forward to sunshine as we head home. Have a great day beaches and keep smiling.
Cathy: Glad you are getting rest before tomorrowβs trip.
Cherry: Glad your son remembered the history.
Beverly: Glad you are resting your foot. Sending healing vibes.
Lynn: Glad the servicing of the car was so close to you.
