Happy Anniversary Ann and Carl! Have a lovely day. I finished trimming all the roses yesterday and got so many bites on my legs I took Benadryl. Last week I ordered mosquito traps recommended by a lady from Sparta, Mississippi but my husband has to put them out for me. They will go up in a tree away from people and animals but attract the mosquitoes. They are made in Sparta. The AC unit will be fixed this morning. It will take 2-3 hours. I will do indoor things. I pulled out all the green beans yesterday. We may one more good serving in the refrigerator. Not sure when we will do our grocery shopping because I want to see an art exhibit downtown at Artes Americaโs called Caminos. It is about people who live in our Valley. In the evening we are taking Rob and Whitney to dinner as a belated birthday gift for her. Have a great weekend.

Happy Anniversary, Ann! We celebrate our 41st on the 25th of this month.
We canned and pickled some more - ten heads of garlic were peeled and put in brine, in fact. Then lunch was made and groceries purchased. Today a museum and perhaps lunch out.
My plan is to enjoy my daughter

Happy Anniversary Ann and Carl. Have a great time celebrating. Audrey - I am envious of your garden although I know in a few weeks I will be picking from mine. Cathy - Enjoy the time with your daughter. I love poaching garlic in olive oil. Then I separate the oil and the garlic. Mash the garlic and use like butter and have garlic flavored olive oil for other things. Off to walk Charlie and feed the ferals. Ginger showed up in a new location but will not come close enough to be pet yet. Then spin before my friend Daria arrives.

Good morning Audrey Cathy Susi and AWF. Thank you for the Anniversary wishes Audrey I just found out by a gal in our retirement community that those that have 0+ blood are more likely to get bitten by mosquitoes and both of us were blessed with that. Not sure how true it is, but I can relate to bites. I hope the traps work out for you. I bet your garden looks great. I also bet you can't wait for the AC to be up and running. Cathy so happy that you are enjoying the visit with your daughter. Susi enjoy your walk with Charlie and feeding the ferals. Hope the weather is nice for you today. It would be great if Ginger would let you pet her. In time I'm sure she will come around. Wishing AWF a wonderful day.

Happy anniversary, Ann & Carl! May you have many more loving years!
I've been to my WW workshop and now we are puttering around until it's time to head to KSMB (AKA KressSibs Monthly BRUNCH) at noon at the Fountainbleu Diner in Piscataway. Toots & I were not entirely sold on the idea of moving this monthly get-together to a Saturday mid-day meal but we will roll with it for a while. Tonight the SummerSwing Orchestra has an outdoor concert at a band member's church (5:15 PM meet, 6-8 PM gig). So it's a really broken-up kind of day. So far, I think I'm going with him; I'll take my chair and my knitting, and perhaps we can pack Subway sandwich/salad to have instead of the hot dogs we've heard that the church will have for sale.
It's a really, REALLY pretty day and I want to be out and about in it.
Coffee โโโ... always good, no matter what time of day...
๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ Have a healthy-eating day, all. ๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ๐น๐ฟ

MJ enjoy the brunch and outdoor concert. Yes, bring your own picnic.
The AC man has been here 2.5 hours but almost done as I was told the job would take 2-3 hours.

Well we are back home. The lunch was delish. Carl ordered fried clams fries and slaw and I opted for fish and chips. This place is known for their fish...so when in Rome ..... We didn't bother with dessert as they really give you far too much food. After that we stopped at a few places and just made our way back home again. It poured while we were eating and by the time we were done the sun was out again. It's quite warm, so once the sun goes down, we'll walk miss LuLa and hopefully I'll burn off some of the calories that I consumed LOL. Thank you all for the wonderful Anniversary wishes. They mean a lot. Audrey happy that the AC man is almost done. LOL to being 0+ also. Great job on the walking, Becky. Pam tomorrow I'll be back at it KOKO all the way. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Saturday!
