Wow Becky that's quite the storm. I went to a shopping center with my neighbor. She just recently got a Garmin that has all the bells and whistles so she wanted to try it out. I only went for a very short walk beforehand with Carl and LuLa as the heat here is insane. I nearly fell over when I looked at my step count. I have over 17,000. No wonder my feet are tired.
I hope your knees feel better. Does elevating your legs help you at all?

Ann Wow on all those steps.Do you know which Garmin your neighbor has.I have the Vivofit 4 and it's better than the Vivofit 3 but have been thinking of getting a Vivosmart or Vivosport but then they have to be charged and that's what I like about the Vivofit is they don't need charged.I have been averaging between 13-14K with my Garmin but with the rain I have just hit 10K but that's okay too.I will get more in during commercials before I go to bed. When I elevate my knee it feels better for awhile but it mostly helps to move every hour so it doesn't get stiff.I can tell the injection in the left knee has helped but that was the better of the 2 knees. It doesn't hurt as badly as before the injection but still not 100% on the right knee.

She has the vivofit 4. I hope in time your knees will feel better. I admire you for walking and moving to not get stiff.
I have a friend that has beeb through at least 4 doctors. They all tell her that she has to move and lose weight so instead of following orders, she looks for another doctor.
My steps today were over the top. I went for a short hood walk. Luckily LuLa did her business quickly. My feet can't take much more.

Ann I love my Vivofit 4.It does sound counterproductive to say you need to move when you have arthritis but it really helps. The problem is when doctors tell you to lose weight for it that will only help for a time.Once the damage is done it doesn't matter how much a person loses at least that's what this last doctor I won't be seeing anymore says.I feel that's true in my case b/c I'm at a normal weight and still have knee pain because it's virtually bone on bone.
