Good morning, Friends. I couldn't access the wifi on the plane last jaunt, so wanted to wave. I have done well this week, but definitely mindful, so we'll see how the sodium affects me. I was really good with sugar and that makes me happy. We would have liked more free time, bit glad to be leaving the intense sun. borntexan I'd say the jury is out on my injections, too, but we'll see. pbnj So glad you are feeling better! dina Congrats! Every time I make a better choice it's a reminder to me the next time. Hope to check in later.

I'm IN.
And it is beautiful and sunny and warm in my neck of the woods today. I intend to picnic (either in my Jeep in the sun or on the front steps) at lunchtime.
pbnj, long may that headache stay away... and <phooey> on the pharmacy for messing up the meds (that's pretty dangerous, IMO).
TGIF. I dropped Son#1 off at the train station. He's on his way to a 2nd interview, in Hoboken NJ. The first one was cyber; this one's IRL. He's been laid off one month as of the 19th and admits to one big bout of depression about it (as is appropriate, IMO). He's been actively looking and has also had various pre-tests on other jobs. One of the challenges for stuff like that is that since he's been working in a specialized environment for 12 years, the "general" software programming is not as fresh in his mind, plus he has always seen multiple solutions depending on circumstances (it's what made him so good at his job). But he has always been curious about what's going on in his field and has a good "global" knowledge. We'll see.
Now I'm home and hoping for a quiet DayJob. It's sunny and temps are mild. Lunch will be a picnic, either in my Jeep in the sun or on the front steps. Dinner will be chicken pot pie (AKA "clean the fridge" pot pie).
Have a healthy-eating day, all!

Good Morning to all! Lovely weather here and I guess it means spring is here for real. I'm still thinking another cold blast will get us but the weather guessers don't think so.
DH is going away for the weekend but I'm staying here so I'm making plans. I wanted to take DD to see "Lion" but her DH and DS are also going to be gone and she'll have her DD(10) with her and I think that movie is too intense for a 10 year old. We'll catch it some other time.
Glad that medicines are helping some of you to feel better. Imagine life 100 years ago when none of this was available? I'm always thankful I live in this time with the medical advantages we have.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! TGIF!!

100gone I feel the same way you do about the *pleasant* side effects of global warming. diva49 it's so easy to have worries about our kids, I love your attitude of seeing his pluses. My DS has an interview today, too.

Sending good-interview thoughts for Brady, ksbruns...

Random NSV to REALLY start my day off right:
Potty break. Unbuckle belt. Pull down jeans. Note that jeans have BUTTON & ZIPPER which are still snugged-up. Further note that I can pull 'em back up AND tuck in my shirt with button & zipper still snugged-up.
<sigh> I hate to shop. These jeans will have to "do" for a while. But I'd better start wearing my skinny jeans - THEY don't have belt loops.

diva49- That is a great NSV. I remember the first time I did that. I kept running around the house showing my husband over and over that I could do it!

Shoveling snow off sidewalks was first thing this morning. Now the sun is out and it's melting off the car. Even the street is clear. Taking it easy today. Have a great day everyone!

Survived weigh-in with just a .2 ^ Next week is pay up week if I'm up. Got to get serious with how I'm going to maintain this weight loss thing. It's nice that 45 lbs are gone but this up/down 2 lbs every month is too close to be comfortable.

pbnj Glad your WI went okay. Maintaining is harder for me now than 3 years ago. Can't figure it out but I'm not giving up!

We made it home; never could get a wifi connection on the plane, but we dodged some storms so no complaints! linda72 I have had to *make adjustments* 3 times since I've made goal; it must be *part of the deal*! diva49 Thanks for the good wishes; he felt good about it. And LOL on the blue jeans! My stomach is so huge, I'm not sure if that ever happened to me!
