We're safely back to the ranch house. No undies for Jim at Macy's yet. She said she thinks Thursday so I'll check on my way home from taking Jim to the cardiac doctor. He hasn't been there for months....we had trouble making an appt.... Nancy: Yes, I believe that everyone loved Kathy....and such a shock that she died. Did they figure out what she died of?....I can only assume she had a heart attack. That is what usually takes people so quickly. I am still praying for Bill and you too of course. Sandy: I'm glad to hear you're on the old pills.....and will be glad when you get to see the new doctor. I have used SafeLite too for windshield. Glad they will be okay. Harriet: I haven't gotten up to thinking about my trip yet. When we went to the park (Spanish Landing) near the beach house, I backed into kind of a peninsula of parking area...hard to explain but I damaged the lift on the back of the car for the scooter. I had a heck of a time loading the scooter to come back to the ranch. I'm having my DSon look at it...probably tomorrow. If he can't fix it I will have him order a new one. I can't put wheelchairs in the car for Jim to use. Hope he can do something before Thursday when I have to take him to the doctor. My birthday is the 13th...Lucky 13!!
Let's get into our circle of wagons now and sing by the fire "WE CAN DO THIS, YES WE CAN...WE CAN LOSE NEW POUNDS...MY THIN FRIENDS!"

Oh my, Kathie. All of the problems I have ever had with a car have been backing or sitting still. I love the backup function on our new car that allows you to see what is behind you as you back. The only time I have had a problem in this car is when I took my friend to the mall and she laid her jewelry purchase on the dash and covered that view up - I backed into another car, popped the bumper loose and fortunately did no damage to their car. The bumper popped right back on, gratefully. Do hope you can get it fixed before Thursday. Yes, 13 is lucky for both of us. I thought your birthday was earlier in the month.
Nancy, I am sure you will spend some of your coming days in helping Bill get things done. I know he is glad you are there. I liked your FB video yesterday. Didn't share mine, because by the time I tried three times to add a comment it didn't go, so scrapped the whole thing. Sandy, I hope you like your new doctor, and it will be a good omen that maybe my new one in December will be a good one too.
Today is Wednesday and scheduled full with chapel, our resident church luncheon, and a trip to the landfill. They have an e-cycle day once a month for TVs, computer, and the like. We are taking the TV, the speakers, and the printer. It breaks my heart to let it go, but it doesn't work. Then I must spend time looking for a new one. I am watching my scales this week, and hopefully they will go down. They doggedly sit in the same place every morning. We can do this, right??

Hi everyone. My company will leave tonight. We are going to breakfast with Bill. Then the plan is to go to Summerfest to see the grounds and then they will take off at 4. I hate to think of going through Chicago at that time and a 14 hour drive back to NJ. Be sure to pray for Joel and Matt. Have a great Wednesday! Hugs and blessings to us all! See you later

Harriet so happy to see you here. I see all the new cars have the backup screen. You have another busy day planned. Glad to see that. Love, Nancy

Feeling a lot better since starting back on the meds. Have lost 3.5 pounds in just two days so know I was really retaining a lot of water! We got the final invoice for the windshield. They did replace the whole window and if it hadn't been covered would have cost $400! But it was strange that on the statement they said the crack was due to high heat so the window they put on is a solar window which is heat and cold proof.
Taking our Prizm to a mechanic Fred has used before as the a/c isn't working. We think it just needs freon but if not won't bother getting it fixed as it's got a lot of miles and isn't driven much as it is the car I drive and since my chauffeur feels he needs to go everywhere I go I just don't drive much anymore. I will drive it to the mechanic though as we have to leave it. Then at 9 a company is coming to vacuum out the ducts in the house. We've had it done before by this company but not for a few years and Fred said with the amount of hair we sweep up daily from Bailey he hates to think of the buildup in the ducts.
Will be waiting anxiously to hear from Debbie once her lawyer contacts her to tell her how things go at court this morning. Since this is just another status hearing and to set a trial date she doesn't have to be there.
Other than that nothing going on here today. Aldis is having a special sale today on ribs so we're going to get some. I know it's not the best thing for me to have but I am craving them and will weigh out an amount.

Debbie hasn't heard from her lawyer yet but looked online and a pre-trial is set for July 22nd and a trial is set for August 27th so she thinks Jeff is given until the 22nd to agree to something and if he doesn't then a trial will be August 27th and at that time everything would be decided by the judge. So sounds hopeful and it would be great if it could be done the 22nd so she could really celebrate on her vacation but at least we know if not the 22nd of July it will be done by the 27th of August. At least that's what we think so it'll be interesting to see what her lawyer says.
