TOOT, TOOOOT! CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Here comes the Train to Thinsville down the track into your station, so hop on board and enjoy the ride.
We are in a severe thunderstorm watch until 10:00 AM and it is to become partly cloudy this afternoon. Right now it is 66* and thundering and raining, but it is to clear in the afternoon and become partly cloudy. Storms may contain strong, gusty winds and our high will be 95* with winds S 10-20 mph.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today. The dogs woke me up at 6:00 wanting to go out, but Hunter refused to go out in the storm. A while after that we found a pile on the kitchen floor but don't know which dog left it. MJ went back to bed and now it is all quiet again and I'm the only one awake. Once I wake up I don't usually go back to sleep.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today so I'll just wait and see what comes up.

Good morning!
We have a clear day today! Small white clouds and a gentle breeze. It is 76* and will go up to 90*. I t is the kind of day that I used to work in my flower beds. Sigh... They look terrible, but we cannot have them taken care of. This morning we went to breakfast for our waffle. We met a friend from church, so we had a little sadness session over our lead pastor's leaving. Our waffle was as good as usual, and though we share it, I still could not quite finish my share. I don't know of any other errands we need to run since we picked up our rxs yesterday. I had been scheduled for a pain injection today, but I canceled since I had no significant pain. The Lyrica is a marvel! I know it doesn't work this well for everyone, but I am surely glad my doctor wanted me to try it. It is more expensive, but wow! DSIL brought some laundry over and got it in, but we don't expect to see anyone else today.
Doris, it sounds like you are still having stormy weather. It may come back here, they say, but we are all hoping things can dry out a bit first.
Be happy! Diane

Diane,
The weather here seems to change quickly. Yesterday it was a gorgeous day and overnight we heard thunder and today its a gloomy day. At least it looks like we have a couple of nice, but hot, days coming up.
I'm glad to hear the Lyrica is working so well for you and you were able to cancel your appointment for a pain injection.

If you weren't awake at a little bit before 6am this morning that extremely loud thunder should have woken anyone up! Although I think it was directly above our house. I was going to walk this morning after the Y but it was still raining so I put that walking energy into cleaning. Probably a good way to put it to use anyway. But I'd rather be outside walking. So now the sun is shining and it is supposed to get very hot. Yancy used to pay no attention to any rain when we let him outside but now he doesn't like it so much, his sister Lucy has never liked to get wet. And Yancy in his advanced age also sometimes has accidents on the floor.

Helen,
That very loud clap of thunder woke me and the dogs and of course they wanted to go out immediately. When they saw the rain Bailey went out but Hunter decided to wait for the rain to stop.
This afternoon both dogs watched us do some cleaning but didn't help. Now its looking like it could rain again.

Good afternoon Doris & ATF,
Sunny and 74; the high will be 90.
I was at DD's to watch the boys. This is for a 2 hr. workshop at the school. SIL is upstairs sleeping....works nights.
When DD gets home we will go shopping for the boys as their 9th birthday is July 1 and they want adirondack chairs for the yard. They would not fit in my car if we find the kind they want.
Have a great day!

Been busy day, mailed 3 packages and got some pretty flower stamps. Like them for birthday cards etc. Get tired of the flag ones. The freezer jam is made. Have 12 small jelly jars made and that is enough as they go in the freezer on top my fridge. The strawberries are really good and going to make strawberry pie as well. Yep I still can cook. I like doing stuff like this.
DD#2 and I were going to get nails done but there was too many at our place. Maybe tomorrow. Will go about lunch time and if busy we will go to lunch somewhere and put our names down and go back. they do mostly walk ins but usually know how long it will take and nice to be able to put our names down. A DQ just down the road. Also need to stop at library late in the day after DD goes home. I am cleaning strawberries for her just cause I like to. DD#1 doesn't eat them, she likes the blue berries and they will be ready soon and will get some of them for her.
It is a nice day but not sure it is going to stay but will just have to see what tomorrow brings. The pool is ready for swimming. !!

Emily,
I hope you and DD will be able to find the Adirondack chairs for the yard that the boys want for their birthday. Its hard to believe their 9th birthday is coming up. The time sure goes by in a hurry.

Connie,
I love the picture of the strawberry pie. It looks good enough to eat. I hope you will be able to get your nails done.
Is the water in the pool warm enough to swim in now?
