I'm IN.
With temps here in NJ heading to the upper 80s / low 90s (but fortunately with humidity only in the 40s/30s), hydration will be key.
Maybe we will need to set up the airCon for the bedroom, too.
NO DivaTaxi. NO Mice. What WILL I find to do with my day?! You can tell I didn't "sleep in" <snicker><snicker>. Grocery shopping might be a good idea...
But first, coffee... ☕☕☕...
🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿 Have a healthy-eating day, all. 🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿

Heading out to do some errands, going into the office and lunch with DH. Since there is a swim meet (ugh, going to be 90+) ,I plan on a larger lunch with a lite dinner.

Supposed to be in the 90's for the next couple of days with high humidity. So of course we are moving 21 tons of gravel tomorrow to start base for the porch!
Have a headache and toothache this morning. Pretty sure I'm clenching my jaw at night. Not sure why.
Going to do some school work on the computer, work around the house and just take it easy today.
Try to stay cool everyone

Doing well. I'll definitely get in at least some physical exercise again today. I've been far less sedentary these last few months than many before. That feels good.
We had to clean/replenish the hummingbird feeder this morning. Hubby was going to do that last night, but fell asleep early. It's been a stellar hummingbird year so far. Lots of girls and at least two boys.
My neighbor moved and has her house up for sale. Since then real estate people are calling us offering to tell us not only our home's value, but what WE should maybe update/upgrade to increase our house's value. I find that to be extremely obnoxious on a couple levels. Our house and grounds look better than the neighbor's in most all ways (with newer appliances, flooring, aircon unit, and more) other than the windows and sliding glass door. Maybe one will offer to gift us the new windows themselves. We're not planning on moving for a while. Our windows aren't that bad. We have higher priorities.

Morning all! OH NO diva49 temps in the high 80's and low humidity?!? Whatever will you do!!! *snort* rookie, that is our spring!! 🤣🤣🤣 you are going to have all of us Texans head on out for a road trip to see you and put in that AC unit for you (here's a hint it won't be in a window when we get done) if you keep talking like that. 😜 Have a great day everyone! ☕️☕️☕️

Good morning. I’m in. Yesterday I worked on unpacking. Hey, folks: there are no more boxes in the living room and the two bakers racks have been relocated to their final destinations. Just FIVE boxes left in the family room and then I can say everything is unboxed. Made a couple of runs to Salvation Army with stuff to donate; should have offed this stuff during the packing phase. Seriously: why did I hold onto Visions glass pots and pans. cyndee, real estate people can be so annoying. They probably want you to upgrade the external appearance to boost the value of your neighbor’s property. Have a great day and KOKO.

Good morning. Went to my WW meeting today, declined a weigh-in. Just not feeling it today and determined not to fall into my old scale trap. Clothes feel looser, though, and I've been on point with MFP almost 100% this week. My WW center will be closed next Thursday so that will be a skipped week. I'm definitely into the diet mode lately, cooking up my arsenal of veggies. Eating more fish, shrimp, veggie burgers, eggs and very little red meat. Trying to cut down on the carbs too and didn't even hit my MFP carb limit any day last week. Although I enjoyed the meeting there was the same old backup at the scale and yes, a line of at least ten people as the meeting came to a close. Whatever...I was there early, claimed my seat with my coffee cup, and frankly my dear I don't give a damn. Stopped at the grocery store on my way home and grabbed some more veggies. I saw a recipe that used spaghetti squash as a crust for a quiche/frittata thing and it looked interesting. I'm going to modify it somewhat (don't have goat cheese as I am really picky about my goat cheese and it would require a drive to another store) and tweak here and there but I think it's worth a try. I have used spaghetti squash as a base for a sorta-pan-pizza (browning the cooked squash in a fry pan, topping with pizza toppings and running under the broiler) and it's nice when it's caramelized a little. Here's the recipe if anyone is interested: www.cookinglight.com/recipes/asparagus-mushroom-goat-cheese-quiche-spaghetti-squash-crust?That recipe will have to wait as I volunteered to help stain the fence posts. No rain predicted for the next couple of days and DH is already out there, putting me to shame. 82 degrees, sunny, but the humidity isn't bad. Gotta go slap on the sunscreen and head out there. Not thrilled but it has to be done. Wishing all a good day...KOKO.

They probably want you to upgrade the external appearance to boost the value of your neighbor’s property. Have a great day and KOKO. Yea, they are. But the external appearance of our home is already significantly better than our neighbor's. Our back area is much nicer than most people's on any of the streets nearby, with a brand new deck, pretty deck furniture, and well-kept gardens and flowers everywhere. As for the siding, that's not our responsibility. We have a home owner's association. Plus, the siding is fairly new. Our windows don't look that bad unless you scrutinize them super closely. Our garden window and sliding door do look somewhat poor, but they are not that visible from the neighbor's house. What's it to them? As said, they can pay for it if they want. We have other things that are higher priority. We plan to replace our ugly kitchen counter tops with nice quartz counter tops in a few weeks. That alone is almost $3,000. The windows can wait.

Good morning all. I'm picking DebDoesWW, up this afternoon for our road trip to see diva49, and her "low humidity" days. I'm sure lmenglish, will join us because I know Florida has issues with humidity too! HA! lmenglish, keep cool at the swim meet. Those things last forever. hpeterson1951, you should talk to your dentist about a night guard to wear at night. It has really helped my teeth feel better in the morning. According to my dentist, everyone clenches their teeth, you're just not aware of it. It can really damage your teeth too. cyndee, of course the realtor is encouraging you to fix up your place; so his listing will sell quicker. Cloudy here in Houston but no rain at our house. I'm grilling chicken tonight; I'm planned and tracked. Have a great day, y'all.

I'm in. linda72 Don't forget to come by to pick me up for the road trip to diva49's place for the low humidity. We received a letter yesterday offering to buy our place. We have a little over 96 acres but for what they were offering at today's prices we couldn't buy a house even without any land. Planned and tracked.

Planned and tracked. It's gotten crazy! Though our townhouse could fetch more than double what we paid for it, 21 years ago, it would impossible to buy any other place in our area. For anything nicer, we'd have to move much further away. We were looking at houses for sale in France (a little bit outside of Nice, near Montpelier) and for what we'd sell our little townhouse for in NJ, we could get a much bigger and more beautiful house with more land and an in ground pool - even for less. And the property taxes there are significantly less than they are in NJ. We're thinking about it for retirement. NJ property taxes are the highest in the US.

Are they really? I thought mine were high. I pay $8,000 a year in property tax.
And thanks to trumps wonderful tax reform, I now cannot deduct the full amount of my state and property taxes on my 1040. So I'm double effed.

And thanks to trumps wonderful tax reform, I now cannot deduct the full amount of my state and property taxes on my 1040. So I'm double effed. I'll trade you, lol---property taxes in our neck of the woods run about $15K. Thanks to some helpful exemptions we pay a bit less but there are some that pay quite a bit more. One of the wonderful things about living in Hawaii? Our property taxes were only about $2500/yr on a house that was worth more than twice the value of our house in NY. Of course you are taxed on EVERYTHING ELSE in Hawaii, even prescriptions, doctor's visits, and all groceries. So it evens out, I guess. But that property tax bill sure looked nice. And do NOT get me started on that fabulous tax reform. For years we have always gotten a small but welcome federal tax refund. With no significant changes in our income, this year we had to pay over $3K. So are we tired of winning yet? :::ROLLEYES:::
