Good morning all.
It's a beautiful day here after the storm. It dumped a lot of rain but, we never got the large hail and 70 mph winds. I heard from DB#2 last night - he and son#2, daughter, and her fiance will be flying in from Houston end of July. Can't wait to see them!
We are going to just play today by ear and later grill two small filets for dinner. Hope everyone enjoys the day!

doordie50, good morning! We must be the only ones up this morning! Have fun with DB#2 and the family when they come in July. Quiet morning here. DSIL and DGD12 were out of town this weekend and so we had an impromptu dinner with DD and DGS10 last night. We went out for pizza together and had a nice visit. No plans for the day. We'll watch Nascar this afternoon and I'll watch Endeavour tonight on PBS. Waving hi to ALL!

Good morning. I’m in.
Bright sunshine right now.
The new WiFI network seems to functioning properly now. Only had to set up the repeater routers two or three times!
I had to create the home control programming for all of the smart home plugs, switches, and finally—this morning—the powered blinds. Now I just have a few automation programs to create and I’ll be back to where I was before changing the WiFi routers. Phew!
I slept like a log until 12:45 and then got awakened by a blood sugar alarm. I laid there and watched the number for a while and it continued to drop slowly so I got up and had some juice and a few cookies; when it continued to drop, I got up and had hot cocoa and more cookies. That did it! It was about 3:30 when I got back to bed and around 4 when I fell back asleep. Sometimes being “good” in the food intake department ends up being “bad" in the blood sugar department.
I’m tired, but I think I’ll try to hit the huge farmer’s market in Mountain View to see if I can score a supply of fresh berries and whatever else I find.
I hope everyone who is missing here this morning is either sleeping in or out having a great time.

Good morning.I'm in.
We got 2" rain last night and I must have slept through the whole thing.DH said Scooter spent the night with him while it was going on and I never heard her pacing or him letting her out after it was over.It did take me over an hour to fall asleep so I guess when I did I crashed. It's wet out there so I rode the recumbent bike.Headed for church shortly and will come home for lunch followed by the usual Sunday afternoon chores.I hope to get a walk in this afternoon if it isn't raining. It is only 75 degrees at 10:00.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning. Since the heat wave hit I've been doing all my outside chores early. Not too terribly hot this morning and there was a good breeze so it was nice out there. Only 76 degrees now, storms in the forecast. Done. Laundry's on, made some fresh hummingbird nectar, and I'll play the rest of the day by ear. I bought some spaghetti squash and asparagus so maybe I'll make that quiche/frittata thing I saw the other day. If it stays cool and cloudy I'll play with the plants on the deck. I need to put some supports in my big pickling cucumber planter before the plants take over the deck. And Mama Robin has been busy---two more eggs in my hanging geranium basket this morning. Wishing all a peaceful day.

Good Morning I'm IN on the last lazy day of June. It will be 92 so another cool day for us but over 100 next weekend. I fed our son's 3 dogs and cats before breakfast but after my morning walk. I can get the feeding done in about 15 minutes. He has 3 dogs and 3 cats but it is complicated in that one cat insists on eating in the back and so I have to crate the dogs or they eat her food. The other cats eat on the side of the house gated and protected from the dogs. On the 4th DH and I will go there at 8 to crate the dogs and put old towels over the crates. The fireworks will drive them crazy. I will release and feed them at about 6:30 on the 5th. One year a neighborhood dog ran through a plate glass window and we found her owner. DD and granddaughter are here to look at dolls my daughter had when she was home and I am hoping they take a lot with them. Have to run so have a relaxing Sunday.
PS I can make brownies and cookies but biscones, scones or biscotti are too tempting for me so I need to pass till I am "stronger."

I’m in. Home from church followed by brunch then visit to farmers market. The heat is rising so we’re home and relaxing this afternoon. All will be tracked and I’m focused on getting in liquids and steps.
Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon all! Thank you for getting us going doordie50. I would have, since I was already up since 6, but we have been without power until just now. 🙄 I really need to get the generator up and running with all the times trees go down in the area and take out the power here. zazzles so glad you have that alarm/monitor. Have a great day everyone!

fullmahina, I am sure the hummers will enjoy the new nectar. I should make new nectar tomorrow. We've had about three regular females and two regular males for several weeks. Hubby and I went to my father's woods with our dear departed pet. My dad and brother were there, too. It's a lovely spot. He is now with the parrotlet we had for 15 years, and the parakeet we had even before him.

{{{Cyndee}}} So sorry to read the news about your parrot. His final resting place sounds lovely.
I'm IN.
I'm home and exhausted, as I expected to be (overnight encampment with the YM aboard the USS-NJ).
Just taking it easy and watching a blessedly-rain-delayed NASCAR Monster Energy (Chicagoland).
Tomorrow is back to DivaNormal.
🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿 Hope you've had a healthy-eating day! 🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿

Hi all, Late check in. Went to church, took a nap and then raked the remaining stones (from the big pile) out of the grass.
That was some really hard work. I've got blisters on my hands (even though I had gloves), aching shoulders and back.
But everything is ready for us to actually build the wooden floor of the porch.
Will do that when we get back from 4th of July long weekend. Going to Berkley Springs West Virginia. Leaving Wed night. Looking forward to it.
