Nicer walking this morning. Nice breeze. Yesterday was unbearably hot and humid before a storm with a lot of wind and rain moved through around suppertime that dropped the temp 20º 90's and humid again today. Rain chances every day in the 7 day forecast. My car needs washed so bad but there's no sense washing it with the forecast.
Marm, I'll see you tomorrow morning at your workshop. I'm observing them using iPads. I've taken the training. I just want to see it in action before going on my own with it. They've all used the iPads in other locations that don't have computers like the studios so since that's the only location I work I've had to learn a little different way of doing things.
Gotta get ready for work. WM after work. They've been out of their brand of canned string beans now for the last two weeks. Wonder if they'll have them today along with their brand of Greek yogurt that they were out of last week. They're always out of something I want. DH can never get over all the empty spaces on their shelves.

Good Morning Marm and LTMs,
This morning it is 77* and going up to 93* and sunny with winds SSW 10-20 mph.
The dogs have been out and came back in and had their breakfast and Hunter settled back down and went to sleep on my bed. Bailey is asleep again on the sofa in the living room.
I slept about an hour longer than I usually do and I just had my early morning medicine about half an hour ago, so I will soon be ready for some breakfast and whatever the day will bring today.
As far as I know there are no special plans for today, so I'll just wait and see what may come up later.

Just got back from a short walk. The trees are still dripping from our overnight rain, but I dodged the drops! It was more difficult dodging puddles especially the big ones & that was just on the roads in the campground, so I had no desire to attempt to walk the trails.
DH left early for his initial appointment for the new kidney study. He was picked up about 7:30 & not sure what time he will get home. He thinks they will be done before lunch time so they don't have to feed him. With him gone it was easy for me to get out & walk, otherwise we have coffee together. No coffee for him this morning.
DS plans to get here about 2:00. I have pork chops thawing for supper. I don't have any potatoes but he likes rice so that's what we'll have with steamed veggies. DH said I should go to town & get potatoes but I don't like for him to eat them too often. He had potatoes when we ate out yesterday & I think that's enough for this week. Yes, I 'mother him' but sometimes they need that.
Not much else going on from here. Sun is coming out so it will be hot & humid again. Was so nice having the windows & door open for a while. I will vacuum today but nothing else planned.
Have a good one & keep cool...

Hello, all LTMs,
Marlene, I agree that they all need mothering no matter their age, at some point. And we mothers can usually tell when that is!
Gareth, my studio went from computers that constantly gave them issues to I-Pads a few months ago. Things are so much smoother now!
Well, I will be having a new great GRANDDAUGHTER in earl December! The tubes shot out pink confetti yesterday when DGD & her significant other pulled the triggers. I should say her SOR's did, since she couldn't pull the trigger hard enough to make it work. He did it for her after shooting his. She is ecstatic, he is getting there! He was hoping for a boy, but a girl will be wonderful! My son said he was going home to buy PomPoms to get baby girl started in her cheerleading journey. DGD was involved in competitive cheering, and coaching, from age 5 to age 20. I have no doubt this little girl will be tumbling & jumping soon after she walks!
I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon at 4:10. I am being "fitted in" so doubt I will be home before 6 or 7. I think we'll stop at Sam's for groceries & get a rotisserie chicken. Easy dinner!
Have a great day!
Rose Marie

Nice day here. It's in the 80's and nice and sunny.

Well I'm hanging here for awhile, while I cool off. so hot trimming the tree. Looking better already but quit for the day. this morning I cleaned out old wood pile to the one under the port. and have the some on floor to cut, Also rest in overloaded wheel barrel. And stacked by it. We did cut a few. Chain Saw working good. I cleaned up the mess. DH mowed the front yard. One bin is heaped full to be hauled off. That is the neighbors he's letting us use it. Ours is half. but we will fill-er up by Wed. I'm sure. DS didn't make it. DIL called into work early. He said be here Wed. I hope, but we will see. I have all the cook books and note books put away. What a difference it looks w/out them all over on backs of Chairs and couch. Ha,ha. I was going start on this one drawer in hall way. Heck that is empty. YES! I'm cooled off so need to get out pick-up leaves. So hubby won't be out doing it.

Good late afternoon to all. It’s been a hot, humid, off and on rain day here. Actually only 77*, but with the humidity it feels warmer. I went out to get some more Georgia peaches before they’re gone. The California ones are here too, but not as good IMO. These might be all I have now until the CO ones are here. I also bought one ear of corn to do in the microwave. I have a tilapia fillet thawing to go with it, and maybe a little salad but the corn will probably fill me.
Congrats Rose Marie and Ruth on the great grands coming! New babies are so fun for us grandmas. I have one due before yours, late August or early September. And the big family is moving just a month earlier. Actually we did that when we moved into a new house just one month before our second child was born. However, we only had one child already (not 4] and we moved from an apartment into a house, didn’t have much stuff yet. She plans to give birth at home as she did with their last baby. I hope it doesn’t come before they are ready for it. Last time it came before the midwife arrived. DH and 7 year old handled it until she got there. My DD who was going to help with the other children was also en route when it came. They come quick and easy for her. Not so with me!
Marlene, I hope the study goes well for DH, and that it doesn’t take too much of his time. It’s nice that your DS is visiting you tonight. Wondering if he will stay overnight with you, or if it is still too buggy for a campfire, or you might be getting rain too.
Rose Marie, it’s nice that you can get out and about more now. The other day when you said that you had to lay on your back in bed for 3 days initially I thought you had to do it all day long. It must have been just for nighttime because then you spoke about going somewhere. I was feeling more sorry for you than necessary. I hope you got a good report from your doctor today. Prayers!
Doris, I hope you don’t get any more nighttime knocks on your door! And, I hope the police are watching out for you and patrolling your area more than usual! How scary! Would you be allowed to move out of the area now? Perhaps you don’t want to do that anyway. My prayers for all of you!
Gareth, my WW people use iPads. My favorite worker is retiring from checking us in. She was training a new person the last time I was there. I’ve never shopped WM regularly for groceries, but if I’m there for something else I often will buy some food items as long as I’m there. In the Consumer Reports survey results they got the worst ratings for the freshness of store-prepared foods, helpfulness of employees, checkout, produce quality, meat/poultry quality, selection of healthy options and locally produced options. Maybe they should get out of the food market and put more effort into their other products and service. That’s just my opinion.

Mary, your dgs and his wife have much more on their hands than my dgd or RM's. RM's doesn't have other children and my dgd has just one. I'm not sure who will be taking care of her while my dgd is in the hospital but there are plenty of people to do it. Plus your family is going to be really busy with moving and trying to get the new house organized. Sounds like your dgdil is a very calm person (or is she your dgd... I think I have it right but not sure)
I rarely go to Walmart now and when I do I don't buy groceries there or just a few items. I like their deli ham. Dh likes to check and see if they have marked down bakery items which I don't eat so don't really care about them and he doesn't need them

Gareth*, Seems like it's always raining hard to get some things done and like washing the car. Leave it out, Maybe come clean on its own. Ha,ha. will be good to see you again. Hope all goes well w/the IPads, I know to often the computers acts up. Have you been to the new Fare-way? It is nice but smaller. But we still like the Water- one best.
Doris, Good for you sleeping in. Be nice if you could every morning.
Marlene, I hope the study goes well and DH learns a lot. Maybe teach me a thing or two. Tsk,.tsk. they might feed them start them right out what should eat. Yum that what you have all sounds good.
Rose Marie, Congrats to you., fun having new Babies. Funny how we just don't like to be in,and want to be on the go all the time.
Ruth, Wow all these babies happening to you all. Not sure if will be any here anymore.
Mary, Oh boy, Now I want some peaches to. but DH is picking up all kinds of fruits tomorrow. Sure not a good report for WM. Well things isn't better that's for sure.
Sleep Well Friends... Marm~~~
