Black coffee at the moment, still fasting lol.
At this point I don't care, sipping on coffee is perfect and I have no appetite.

Black coffee at the moment, still fasting lol. At this point I don't care, sipping on coffee is perfect and I have no appetite. My dinner last night was spaghetti squash with homemade cheese sauce and bacon and yet this morning I feel super hungry even though the fast isn't over for a few more hours. Oh well. Unusual for me to feel stomach growling hunger during the morning part of the fast 5 years into it! Today's food so far is going to be a large arugula salad with bacon and homemade blue cheese dressing and crispy onions.

Finreporter last evening was a bit hard for me, I think because I didn't have much meat yesterday. Luckily that part is not as much a problem for me being on keto. I have more than enough meat! I sometimes miss having a bowl of pasta or oatmeal though.

I sometimes miss having a bowl of pasta or oatmeal though. How are you feeling about Keto? I know it's the "thing" now but I feel like I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. We have a lot of coronary artery disease in the family, I've had more than 1 cardiologist tell me to watch the saturated fat. Another thing, a very well known Cleveland Clinic dr told me that all of the hormones and antibiotics that are fed to the animals is stored in the fat. That scares me.

, I've had more than 1 cardiologist tell me to watch the saturated fat. Saturated fat is one of the things I try to limit in my diet. I also limit sodium. Just today I was hungry after a long workout at the gym and I was in Trader Joe's. It's never a good idea to shop when hungry, but I had to go there for groceries. Anyway, somehow their ice-cream sandwiches found there way into my hands. I often pick it up then put it down as the total fat and saturated fat is crazy high. Happily I was able to resist again after reading the label. B- 1 egg, baked beans, 1 slice toast, coffee with unsweetened soy milk. L- None D- Sauteed chicken tender, spinach and TJ's gnocchi. I got home late so I am quickly making dinner so I can begin my fast by 8PM. As to fasting, meeting the minimum recommended daily fiber (25-30 g) keeps me full.
