Good Afternoon Walkers! I marched in place 30 mins last night = 1.5 miles. My left foot was hurting, sooner than it usually does when I march, so I stopped. I did stay in my green zone of pts & JGTB, yay! Thank you, God. I was busy hitting stores & to the office & never ate lunch, although I had it with me. I didn't really feel all that hungry. Probably because of the overeating the previous night. DH & I are on our own until tomorrow 2 pm. I'll do most of the food prep tomorrow a.m. This a.m. I got to a few stores when they opened for last minute groceries & a few children's chairs, and a couple of last minute gifts. Still a few errands to run later today. My sis won't be here so she sent me money to buy an "Edible Arrangement" as her contribution to the event. She lives in MS. We will have my bro from FL & his wife & kids & DGKs, & my 2 DDs & their spouses & the 2 DGDs & my Mom & her caregiver. 20 people, including me & DH & 6 kids, 2 of them infants. I hope I remember to get a photo of the DGC with my Mom. Not to totally kill the buzz re the sugar foods, but I found this article interesting: www.nytimes.com/2016/12/19/well/eat/a-food-industry-study-tries-to-discredit-advice-about-sugar.html? Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

Good evening,
Amy glad you can go to WW, and get e-tools.
Cait sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun tomorrow. I love family times together.
I did walk two miles this morning, after lunch DG and I raked leaves, she is ten and a lot of help. I am having dinner with my son and family tomorrow, he is doing all of the cooking. I don't know what to do with myself. I talked to my kids in NY a little while ago, they will spend the day with her family tomorrow .
I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow.
Nancy

Merry Christmas Walkers!
Last night I marched in place 1 hour = 3 miles, stayed in my green zone of pts and JGTB. Yay! Feeling good this am. We don't run the heat at night and it was 54F inside this am, 43 F outside! This is Southern Calif! But yesterday was sunny in low 60s and we did buy an outdoor heater so should be able to use the deck as additional space. We are grateful - at home in North State CA it is 19 F. I'll take the 43
DH spent half the day yesterday putting the outdoor heater together. I shopped & did errands & wrapped gifts. Both our backs are urging a little. Now worried I didn't get enough for DGDs. I mainly buy books for the kids. It's my "thing." But now thinking I should have bought toys. Begone you second guessing! They'll be happy. I bought some games for the kids to play with. I'll just wrap those for the DGDs to give them a few toys. Problem solved.
I've steamed broccoli for salad and making brown jasmine rice for another salad. I'm making 3 salads - a broccoli & tomato, a rice one & a bean & corn one & DSIL is bringing a kale & butternut squash one. Have ham & turkey breast. Roasting potatoes & Brussels sprouts. Pumpkin pie, apple strudel, cheese danish & fruit salad. Should be enough
AMY - it's so good of you to go out with your friend. GFY making lentil stew so you're prepared with your healthy foods.
NANCY - {{hugs}} your time with DGD raking sounds so nice. Doing things together. Love it.
Blessings to all
Cait
