Karen, I'm happy with my Versa, but probably would've gotten one of the smaller ones if I had bought it myself. I really like the tracking it has for different exercises and having the HR is nice. I don't know if it's due to cost, but the state seems reluctant to relocate the bears. I'm afraid the situation will have to get worse before anything is done. I probably will get the WW deal. I lost 3 lbs with the last deal and wasn't even that diligent about tracking. I know it works for me when I actually work the program.
The rain is letting up a little for the night, but will be back every day this week according to the forecast. Some places got over 3 inches yesterday and a couple more inches today. There is a disturbance right off of the coast in the Gulf that could turn into something. One of the weather guessers said, "we're getting a slug of rain". Hadn't heard that one before!
Becky, I forgot you had the free month from WW. I'm guessing it won't be long before you start getting the "come back" emails. I haven't been using any of the apps since my WW subscription ran out. I've decided to take the WW deal again since it seemed to help last time.
Linda, we have a Flemings over on the west side close to the theme parks, but I've never been there. I'm not a big steak eater, but DBIL's steak on the grill on the 4th was really excellent. So happy for the women's soccer team! It's understandable that you let some things slip with all you were dealing with. Sounds like you're ready to get back into your exercises. I've also had trouble getting my weight back to where it was a few years ago, but hate to think of where it would be if I hadn't been trying to lose. LOLing on the Corona dog.
Chele, sorry to hear Iggy still isn't feeling good. It doesn't make sense to me that the women's soccer team makes less than the men. I could see how they could justify it for basketball, since the men's teams draw larger crowds and make more money, but that's not the case with the soccer teams.
Liz, hope the long weekend helped with your healing.
