WELCOME TO REGULAR & NEW POSTERS! This thread is full of encouragement & suggestions. New people, welcome! We encourage you to jump in. One day, one hour, one minute at a time is easier to handle than a week, etc. Lurkers, join in
Our goal is 21 days Binge Free (studies show 21 days to break old habits & start new ones!). Whether we make 21 or one, the point is to learn as we go, replace binges with other things to help us through stressful times. Some days are harder than others & we may slip; that's OK. The Binge Monster is in the shadows waiting to pounce. Hopefully this thread provides inspiration, courage, & support to become a Binge Survivor!
You may see different folks on different "Cycles." A Cycle is a 21 day block of consecutive binge-free days. Stay with us for as many cycles as you'd like.
Everyone's definition of a BINGE is different. The Oxford Dictionary defines a binge as a spree of eating and drinking. To many of us, BINGE is defined as "eating without dignity." The dictionary defines "dignity" as a calm and serious manner or style, showing suitable formality or indicating that one deserves respect. Only you can define what a binge is for you. Going over points, as long as it was done with dignity and journaled (therefore acknowledged and "owned") isn't binging--it is up to you to decide.
SPECIAL THANKS TO LESLIE5609 for starting this challenge on the Out of Control Board, in August '02, and thanks to all who keep it going

C99D3, 22 points, 1197 calories, 5 water, 9416 steps
1/2 hour back exercises, circled community this morning, 20 minutes strength training, walked to club house for pool, walked a friend home which was way out of my way extending my walk home.
The stats above are insane. I purposely did not allow myself to add points or calories until the day's end. I track them on a spreadsheet now, so I can enter it all without totals. I expected it to be much much higher since I had whatever I wanted though within reason. I almost feinted when I saw 1197. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. This is fun.

18 points 1320 calories 40 APs - 7 mile run and 18 mile bike ride
Iβll be gone 10 hours today; two clients are scheduled at inconvenient times and wonβt allow me a chance to stop at home. I think I have enough food to get me through. I envy people who can just go to the drive thu!
Nancy, love your numbers! Itβs pretty amazing when we listen to our bodies, isnβt it? I was pretty surprised at how little food my body needed yesterday.

Sunday's Stats: SP 27 AP 4 Water 52 oz
Walks 4 with a total of 58 minutes 7/8 9:30 AM
Right now it is a beautiful 74 degrees outside and we're sitting on the edge of closing the windows with room temps at 76. The cool breeze is wonderful. Marisol and I have had our first walk. Jan hope your busy day is off to a great start.
10:15 AM Closed the windows as the 76-77 temps inside became lower than the 78 outside. It's nice and comfortable in here now.

Dinner last night, realized I didn't have anymore light hamburger buns or light mozzarella so instead of a mushroom pizza burger, I had a stuffed mushroom with lf ricotta/spinach/onion topped with my homemade sauce (which is just cooked crushed tomatoes and seasonings. It was so good! Looking forward to having it again this week.
Nancy, I love that you are having fun with your experiment!! I think from tracking on MFP it really helped me to learn what a 1200 calorie day looks like. Jan, Awesome APs!! Last week, my eating was right on, 2 days strength but my step count is still lacking. This week I'll continue to work on my step count. Good luck with your long day...glad your prepared!! Thanks for posting your go to's!! I see a lot of zero foods during your day, mine is pretty similar!! I like the banana/pb wrap...forgot about that... Louise, Great Stats!! Comfortable is good!! We had a rainy, humid morning....hopefully it will improve.

Jan - Amazing stats!! Have you still not stepped on the scale? Aren't you just curious?
Louise - Is DM getting used to (accepting of) the more frequent walks? I'll be Marisol is loving them.
Lori - Way to come up with a workable impromptu Plan B for last night's dinner.

I just lost a post somehow; I'm not sure.
Anyway to Nancy-really no change on DM and the walks. Recently she told me she can't stand up that long. She stands inside the screen door watching us. Marisol is loving it although she will start to pull me toward the driveway later in the walk. She does enjoy rolling around in the grass; part of that is her attempting to get the muzzle/leader off.
Jan-my scale had me slightly up this AM from yesterday. The (Sat.) WI weight is the one in my sig although I will admit to not changing that on a daily or weekly basis for quite a while. I finally pulled it up and changed it today and I will commit to changing it after each official WI. Unfortunately my scale is showing a lower weight than theirs. Last few scales I've had were consistently higher.
After breakfast and lunch I'd only used 7 SP. My afternoon snack was fruit with yogurt for 3 SP. I was planning a dinner with 11 SP including two snack size Hershey Bars and that would use one weekly. DM decided she only wanted her favorite ham sandwich. I don't want to cook in the oven for just me so I'll probably go with the cashew butter option instead.
Finished our second walk with 15 minutes.
It's gotten to 79 in here with the outside thermometer showing 82. We got two double fans running in here now.
OK now it's gotten trickier it's 80 both in and outside. (About an hour or less after the last statement). Now it's cooler outside so I've just opened the windows again (After about another hour). OK so maybe I'm obsessed with the weather today.

Louise - Is DM in any condition to walk with you once in a while?
