Kitty,- I have to have a top sheet. Very few blankets are soft enough to be on my skin. But I heard a radio article recently that not using a top sheet is a new trend. Mostly with the 20-30 yr old crowd, but growing. Thank you for all of the recommendations. I think I'm going to BBB and see what they have. I've looked on Amazon but not sure about not being able to see them first.

zazzles, I haven't used them in years. The sheets I've been buying at Target fit the bed perfectly. I'm pretty sure I've seen them at BB&B, and of course Amazon has everything.

I've seen "bed garters" at strange places- like Ollies, Big Lots and Rose's.

Finally got sheets. Went to TJ Maxx. found two sets, one 600 count and one 1800 count. They are actually a cotton/poly blend. Very nice. Also found a pair of PJ's that are a rayon/cotton blend. SO soft and silky. I might live in these

lmenglish, I haven't needed the garters for the Threshold sheets. They are deep enough to stay on.
