B - Avocado toast with goat cheese and shaved cucumber and radishes I recently found out that radishes are a cruciferous vegetable ! Who knew? Not me. I now find it easier to get more CV in my diet with radishes. I can toss them on to a salad. And they are inexpensive ! Win, win. "cruciferous vegetables uniquely contain health-promoting phytonutrients that have been shown to help prevent the onset and halt the progression of colon, breast, prostate, thyroid, cervical, and other cancers" "Radishes are a good source of vitamin C. Just 1/2 cup offers about 14 percent of your recommended daily allowance. ... Vitamin C also plays a key role in collagen production, which supports healthy skin and blood vessels. Radishes contain small amounts of: potassium" I'll have to remember your avocado toast- cucumber-radish combo. Thanks for the idea !
