⭐ No Excuses ⭐
* This is a daily thread for those who want to live by the philosophy that you CAN be ON PLAN EVERY DAY, whether you are doing SFT or counting points for ALL foods! * You aren't doing this to brag; you are doing it for YOU! Because YOU are WORTH IT and because WW has made this totally DOABLE! * WW gives you a lot of freedom and a LOT of options that make it quite possible to live this lifestyle EVERY DAY. * You know that this philosophy keeps you on the straight and narrow. * Ifyou give yourself an excuse to go off plan today, there will ALWAYS be another excuse tomorrow. * SO, there are NO EXCUSES!!! * This is your LIFESTYLE and it is a lifestyle you enjoy and you live it daily. * Hopefully your participation here will not only inspire YOU but will inspire OTHERS too! YES, you CAN

Victory is in having done your best. If you've done your best; you've won.

In a competition doing your best is the goal. I have a feeling there are times that one's best is not good enough or that one's best is not necessary. I mean...if a job can be done equally well using 50% of your effort as using 100%...why not save some for later? Maybe it is pacing? I mean...we can't be at 100% 24/7...

I have met Bill Bowerman and he was a wonderful guy to talk to. One of the most successful track coaches ever and co-founder of Nike. I think slightly less business-minded but more creative than Phil Knight.
Another one of his quotes is "There is no such thing as bad weather, just soft people." Well in Oregon bad weather is usually just a bit of rain. True. He is definitely a no excuses kind of guy but with grace.
I do like your idea of some pacing too. Hey I am never going to win the Tour de France, not attitude just fact.

Knowing you did your very best regardless of outcome is certainly a victory. Thanks Bob for the background info!
