true...
off for annual thyroid ultrasound and med check. They opened an office over here. Yea! I spent years driving almost an hour in traffic or freeway way east of here to the main office. Then home.

Karen, thanks for the start. I hope all goes well with the mammogram and dexa scan. We have celebrations scheduled for the moon landing on Saturday at the AF museum and in Neil Armstrong's home town of Wapakoneta.
Linda, I am glad your testing office is closer. Good luck!
Liz, what did the vascular doc say about the wound? How is your little Zoe?
Working on a 2 day migraine from allergies. Taking all the eye tests yesterday did not help. I donāt have the results. Iggyās PCP says scans from ER a couple of weeks ago donāt show anything unusual. Wants him to go back on the antacids. He is not going to and is going to schedule appointment with GI doc. He needs a colonoscopy anyway. We are in the middle of a heat wave. Those of you in AZ, FL and TX would laugh at it, but it is in the 90s with high humidity and is supposed to last through the weekend. It is soupy out there.
Waving to Becky and Kathy.

Yup, 90s with humidity is disgusting. Try prediction of 113-115, which, no , is not normal.Yes we now have humidity...but not like yours. Around 109 your ankles cook as your walk. At 113 I find breathing hard.
Better put the hose on a tree.
Good report on thyroid nodules no need for need for biopsy. Having a needle stuck into your throat repeatedly while you cannot move or cough is not fun. Phew
Went to Costco...that is the excitement. Dog is bored.

Linda, YAY! for not having to fight the traffic but most of all for the good test result. Meeting was actually pretty quiet. We had less than 20 in attendance and everyone behaved. GF was supposed to attend but texted me on my way to the meeting and said she was having a reaction to shingles shot #2 that she had earlier in the day. She's one of these people who has to be at death's door to even mention that she doesn't feel well, so I know she had to be feeling really bad. I had the Zostavax and I may just keep my fingers crossed that it lasts and I don't need the new and not-so-improved shot series. Hope bored Micki isn't driving you up the wall. Arya is comatose and snoring. I was gone all morning so she stayed awake worrying about when I would be coming home.
My Garmin is supposed to arrive tomorrow, Becky. The company is in San Diego, so they must have an east coast warehouse because I didn't think it would arrive until Friday. I wonder why you don't get intensity minutes for walking outdoors but do get them for walking indoors. I would think you are keeping up a better pace outside because you aren't stopping to look at things. I was 125 in college, so congrats on getting there and being able to maintain.
Chele, how long will it take you to get your test results back? Going to the GI doc is probably the best thing for Iggy, especially if he doesn't want back on the antacids, which I concur with him completely on. Hope he can get an appointment within a reasonable period of time. Sorry about the migraine. I knew something must have happened because you did the start and never came back. Our heat index is currently 93. I feel your soupy pain. Will you get anything from what's left of Barry? They are saying we may get some tomorrow but it won't be that impressive.
Anything yet on Amazon, Kathy? I plan to look again when I get finished posting this. Is today or tomorrow a grocery day? What are you keeping occupied with these days?
Liz, was today a vascular day? How is Zoe doing in the healing process? Did Wally take good care of her yesterday?
I had the mammo and dexa this morning. They already called and I need to go back on the mammo. I'm not sore so I don't think she smashed me enough. Also, she didn't put any stickies on my moles. I probably should have gone for the 3D but the clerk didn't know if UHC would pay for it. I need to find that out before next year. Off to check in with Prime Day where I probably won't find anything I need. I did order a couple of things yesterday but neither of them was on sale and they were on my Wishlist anyway. Then I have 2 sets of minutes to transcribe from last night.

Linda, great news on the thyroid! No, thanks on the 115. I donāt even like the 80s but I can tolerate it. Poor Micki. His toys not keeping him busy enough? I used to have to āchaseā Teddy around the house. He ran. I didnāt. Thatās why I love little dogs. You can exercise them in the house when you canāt go outside.
Karen, oh, no on redoing the mammogram. I know what you mean on the soreness. The tech I usually get looks at the pictures and does them again right away if they donāt look right. Hope you find something you need on Prime Day. We might get a half an inch of rain from Barry tonight or tomorrow. I heard from the optometrist. No glaucoma. I have thick corneas so the regular test with the puff of air showed I had high pressure. I had a different set of more sophisticated tests yesterday which will have to be repeated on a yearly basis since I have a family history of glaucoma.

Karen, thanks for the start. We did the groceries today and I felt drained just getting out in the heat to and from the car. It's like doing double groceries in some ways since I help DM get hers inside and then go home and do mine. I think we're due for rain starting tomorrow so maybe it will cool off a little. I only got a couple of small things on Prime Day. There are some good deals on electronics and appliances, but just nothing I need right now.
Chele, that is soupy weather for your area. The outside temp reading on my car was 98 today when I dropped DM off. I can hardly stand to be outside in that with the high humidity too. That's great news on the glaucoma. Hope the migraine lets up soon.
Linda, glad you didn't have to drive as far for the thyroid test and that's good news on the test. Your paintings are fantastic. Ugh on the 113-115.
Waving to Liz and Becky.

Thanks for the start Karen. It is really hard to believe it was 50 years ago for me since I'm only 64.LOL.
Linda I hope your ultrasound goes well.
Chele I'm sorry about your 2 day migraine.I bought some Excedrin Migraine and it works pretty well for me but mine aren't as bad as yours sound.I can't believe Iggy's PCP just told him to go back on antacids. He definitely needs to see a GI.I feel for you on the heat and humidity. Our high has been 98 and with the humidity it feels like 110.Welcome to our summer.
Linda I wouldn't be walking at 113 degrees even around the block.I did walk up to our road gate to get a pkg today when it was 97 and I was cooking.I'm glad you don't need a biopsy.
Waves to Karen,Kathy and Liz.

it hit 114 around 3:15 and keeps going up until four...feels like a sun burn in the shade when I dash out to move the hose on the gasping trees.
Chele i hope headache is going away...I have to get down Advil, one red sudafed and some coffee early into it to get it to go.
Wonder how Liz us doing, if the ankle us ok, if Zoe is on the road to healed.
