This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives

Good morning/day/evening to all who make it here today. Nothing exciting to report. I did not get in as many steps as I'd hoped yesterday and must do better today. A lot of necessary puttering took place, which will make the coming work week a bit more manageable, with much more to occur today. Melinda, I bet Frieda is right about the reaction, but still. We don't like to feel vulnerable. Sending good thoughts out to all.

Hello. I am not sure I am going to watch the Oscars tonight. I haven't seen very many of the movies. Perhaps the red carpet shows for the dresses and that's it.
This am I did a peek at the scale and I'm glad I did. I am not down at all! So much for eating your weeklies, right? I have tracked everything this week. Next week I will continue as I did Week 1. Which was making a big pot of soup and eating that several nights for dinner. I will figure this all out someday, I swear I will.
It's back to cool weather here, but at least it's sunny. I saw a bed of daffodil flowers starting to grow. (they're still green stems) Spring is coming.
Well, that is my news. I look forward to reading your posts and see what is happening in your pockets of the world.

I'm checking in for a brief hello. Just to grab a same moment and have witnesses. My 9 yo had a competition all day Saturday and her DMOM was the coach. Ddad was something. So I had the 8 yo the 2yo and the 4 month old. All I can say is I must not man up like dear Nancy can. A little one with older ones that age about ruined my gig. And they are expanding their store so needed the three older ones kept over night. We worried about a runaway, but it was me.
I'm planning my spring chicken acquisitions. It's so hard to make prudently limited decisions. And after yesterday, I felt whatever I wanted would be ok.
Our weather has turned wonderful but it is melting snow.
Take care. Tomorrow I have the "twin two" and they March to the same drum most of the time.

Quiet boards this weekend. Thanks for starting it out, T.
Frieda – When I am actively staying OP I try not to peek at the scale except for weekly WI. Wx is cooler again here as well – snow flurries. I am glad you have been a regular here again.
I texted Melinda to see if she was anywhere near Daytona – what a fun race to watch! But she says she is closer to Tampa. YES – install the door lock!!!
Linda – Did you rejoin WeWa? You did so well over the holidays.
I see Mcat's DSD had a milestone birthday. Good luck with the “adult” in the house!
Angela – welcome back to the group! Seems I don't get much time for posting these days, but I do read to keep up with what is going on.
What happened to Andrea? She has been quiet. And Nancy, too.
Hope pKate has had a restful weekend.
Did Anne have her conference yet?
Shout out to Shari, Susan & Martha!
Sorry I have been MIA. Just haven't felt up to par – haven't been eating right, not sleeping well and not exercising. Weather has been cold. I need to get my body to the chiropractor. Our new mattress was delivered but not the right model – so now I am waiting for the new one. The store made it right, but we are back in the old Sleep Number and it seems worse than ever. I really need to right this ship!
