Impossible Whopper Burger Do you like the impossible burger ? If you've had the Beyond burger, which do you prefer ? I haven't tried them yet. More importantly, I'm sorry to hear about the blood sugar incident. I hope you are okay and feeling better today. (((Z)))

More importantly, I'm sorry to hear about the blood sugar incident. I hope you are okay and feeling better today. (((Z))) Thanks. I replaced the sensor at 9 PM last night and the newest sensor seems to be working properly. The BS has normalized itself overnight. Once I treat a low BS I tend to get what’s called a “rebound high” where the BS goes crazy on the high side. So it looks like things are back to normal. As for the Beyond Burger, I don’t think I’ve even heard of it. The Impossible Burger tastes fine. It does not taste different than a beef burger, but it also doesn’t taste better or worse…just makes me feel a little bit better about eating a fast-food burger.

"The Beyond Burger® (made by the folks at BEYOND MEAT®) is the world's first plant-based burger that looks, cooks, and satisfies like beef, and is made without soy, gluten or GMOs. It has all the juicy, meaty deliciousness of a traditional burger and packs 20 grams of plant-based protein." I am pretty sure it's sold at Whole Foods. Both Beyond and Impossible still have a great deal of fat. But I was interested to know how they tasted. Thanks !

I am pretty sure it's sold at Whole Foods. Both Beyond and Impossible still have a great deal of fat. But I was interested to know how they tasted. My WW friends discussed these today and one of them said the Beyond Burgers were sold frozen. Apparently the one or two who tried them weren’t impressed. All the restaurants I’ve heard of that serve Impossible Burgers charge a premium for them—even Burger King. And the others I’ve heard that serve them are already selling overpriced beef burgers. Frankly, if I’m not being too lazy to do the work, grinding 50% chuck and 50% sirloin and making my own burgers is the best I’ve had—I learned that simple skill at a Sur La Tab $25 skills class.
