I'm IN.
We'll have a mix of DaBoyz here today. Got to see if I can remember which ones (esp since I have to pick one of them up).
Maybe coffee will help my CRS... ☕☕☕...
🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿 Have a healthy-eating day, all. 🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿🌻🌿

diva49, looks like the Grammys are all getting busy. I start watching my grands today as their Mom (my DD) starts back to school today. Doesn't seem right that schools are already gearing back up. I mean it's still July for goodness sake. School starts August 14 so I don't know why staff needs more than 2 weeks to get ready. Seems like an unneeded expense. We'll hang around DD's house in the morning and then we'll have lunch with DH and spend time at our house. For now, I need some coffee to get things going. Have a good day!

Good morning.
Running out to BB&B to get an OXO food mill. Yep, one of those old-fashioned crank types that removes seeds and skins from cooked tomatoes, fruits, etc. I decided I no longer want to spend time pushed roasted tomatoes through a sieve to make sauce. I am armed with my 20% off coupon and it looks like it's in stock at the nearest BB&B.
I discovered a TON of wild blackberries growing on my property yesterday and might think about doing something with them. If nothing else, pick them and freeze them.
The usual chores will fill the day, along with some planting in the new garden bed.
Wishing all a good day!

Good afternoon! I am IN! Program wise I am doing well and feeling pretty happy in general. It is still hot, but better, and a couple of reprieve days helped. The upcoming month of August will have me working half days, some necessary flylady tasks are on my afternoon schedule 😜😜 Waving hi, bbl. Leaving coffee for whoever needs a cup

Fullmahina..... My niece has a small farm outside of Asheville. When I read your posts it makes me think of her. I don't know if it's a big deal in your area, but they just finished their barn quilt of The Big Ears farm

Good morning. I’m in. Just lounging about after listing to the morning death & destruction report (aka the news). I can’t watch any more of the coverage of the Gilroy incident because they keep showing the video clips over and over. Note to ABC, CBS, NBC: those clips are all over the internet now; you can stop showing them to sensationalize the story. I have a friend coming to lunch today. I decided to do surf & turf with the SkinnyTaste salmon recipe plus NY strip steak. I will accompany the entrees with baked potatoes and string beans, and finish the meal off with a Panna Cotta with strawberry sauce recipe that I found in an old WW cookbook. The dessert is already done. The steaks will cook Sous Vide so they only require searing at the last minute. Potatoes take about 6 minutes in the microwave. String beans take 4 minutes on the stovetop. Salmon takes 7 minutes in the air fryer. Can’t get simpler or faster than that! There is a house up the block and across the street that is in the process of being gutted inside and reconfigured. According to an email my friend across the street received, an elderly couple that lives behind the house under construction owns it and decided to outfit it for their needs and then move into it and out of their two-story house on the street behind it. Even with my double-pane windows various demolition noises are getting through, so I’m sure it is going to be a noisy few months. Sometimes I envy what I perceive to be the serenity of fullmahina ’s property. I got another WW email today, this one touting healthy WW dessert recipes. Followed the link and opened a number of recipes in separate tabs in my browser. After a few, I was greeted with a new pop-up telling me that I had exceeded my “free” views and should log in or join. Of course, I am logged in and Lifetime in good standing. Someone please explain to me why WW’s greed keeps being used like a weapon to annoy and alienate their decades-long supporters, ‘cuz I forget why. I hope everyone is having a good day. KOKO

Good Morning I’m in. @ zazzles I agree. After so much last night about Gilroy and learning more about the Mt Tam boys who milled the Italian policeman, I only want to read about puppies and kittens. Our schools start August 12th and it is hot as .... Cool here at the coast. We are going to take the dog on a morning adventure and walk around Morro Bay. This evening DH and I are dining at Ember IMO the best restaurant on the central coast. The day involves walking in the ocean and along the beach, reading and knitting.

I don't know if it's a big deal in your area, but they just finished their barn quilt of The Big Ears farm I don't see them here but that is pretty---love that picture!! We are north of Pennsylvania and of course there are loads of barn decorations there, mostly round plaques with Pennsylvania Dutch artwork. Here all I see here are farm names and dates---most from the 1800's.

Hi all,
I have two days of special training (Wed-Thurs). I got "voluntold" to be in a new project.
Then we have Special ed in-service the 6,7,8- we have to go back before any school districts since we are so spread out.
Then School District in-service on 14, 15.
School starts August 19.
Basically August is over!
Going to go outlet shopping on Friday with a friend, looking forward to it.
Stay cool everyone
