Good Morning Small world problems. DH wanted to light the Weber and there was not a match or lighter to be found. I found tea candles and a well used candle in a jar. DH lit the tea candle with a rolled paper towel using the stove gas. He dropped it in the jar and took it downstairs to light the charcoal starter. We felt like Scouts on a camping adventure. No container to microwave zucchini so I sautΓ©ed it. Ended up with steak since the market did not receive their rotisserie chickens. Thatβs new to me. So we had dinner with salads I made. I will track, move and hydrate especially keeping an eye on Hayes. There will be sand time and dinner at the house I can pre track. I hope we have a relaxing Saturday. Love and hugs to all.

I will do better than I did yesterday by:
* tracking honestly * hydrating * moving
Thinking of all of you today!
AUDREY: My sister has a labradoodle. She mentioned being willing to import snakes if it would help...but doubt she will. I don't think she will get a cat as she is a dog person. She MIGHT talk to her neighbors with the woodpile and chickens and ivy that exists on their side of the fence that creeps onto their property. They can't want rats...right?

I'll take those kinds of problems Audrey Take it easy Becky. Do what you can do but don't push too hard. Good plan Cathy Today will be an indulgence day. Not sure what they will have at the track picnic but I plan to only indulge in items that are different from what I can normally get and otherwise make the healthier choices. Light breakfast and dinner will bracket that. Off to walk Charlie, feed the ferals and get to spin class.

Good morning all. Today I shall concentrate on having a very quiet and low key day. I need to rest and relax my body and mind. Smart move, Susi, to eat only the foods that you haven't had in a long time. Enjoy Cathy I shall join you in tracking honestly. Yesterday was NOT a good tracking day. Becky thanks for the prayers. Good idea to take it slow and easy with you knee. Hope where you are planning to shop is not crowded. Wow, Audrey. Cool thinking to light that Weber grile. Glad you enjoyed your steak. I have laundry to do and a few chores around here...but I shall take my sweet time in doing them...and there is always tomorrow. Take care all and again thanks for all the prayers and hugs for us. (((June)))

Audrey Ha! Necessity is the mother of invention. LOL. . . . Am surprised that Bob. Who wants to pack the entire house, did not have wterproof matches, a lighter, or fireplaces BBQ/ lighter. Enjoy your relaxing day...
Ann A quiet day will give your nerves and heart a chance to rest a bit. That was so kind of your neighbotprs-- for their daughter to go w/ you andfor them to provide dinner.
Becky Hope that having fewer errands helps to ease some of the pain in your knee. Sometimes I wonder just how much time we spend running errands. I know that I try to do mine in a circuit whenever possible. It's a little harder w/ all the road construction near me.
Susi That's a sensible approach to a picnic. Wonder what you will find that is "different." I do not eat a lot of typical picnic foods and only like my own potato salad. So my plate can look a little sad. At the family picnic for mom's facility, I had a plain hamburger w/ lettuce & tomato.
Mj Coffee-- makes many things possible and many things bearable. Have a great meeting.

Breakfast is done and tracked. Will sit and plan the rest of the day. It was raining earlier but now it's starting to clear up. I've stripped the bed and just waiting for the sheets to dry. One more load of laundry after that and I am going to quit for the day. Tomorrow is another day.
MJ thanks for your prayers and hugs. Good luck at Weight Watchers.
June yes that's IS the only thing that we can all control...what we put in our mouth! Sending soothing and healing vibes your way and praying for R as well.
Take care all.

Coffee, walk - done. I got all my shopping done yesterday and my church clerical. I even slipped in a few drinks late afternoon with a friend. Today will be OP and spent at home. I have chores to do as well as cooking a late afternoon meal to welcome Randy home. I'm going to do some ribs in the IP and sides will be determined later. I doubt I eat any ribs. Way too pointy and I am satisfied to eat something else. I'm also well into a Nicholas Sparks book that I loaded onto my Kindle from the library. Audrey, great way to get that fire going! enjoy, relax and just soak in all the pleasures of the coast. Becky, sounds like you need a day of rest -hope your knees feel better and you. Cathy, great plans for having an OP day. Susi, sounds like a great way to plan an indulgence...enjoy Ann, hope you have a peaceful day..sending soothing thoughts your way June, that is a true statement and one we can all relate to. MJ, hope the mtg is enjoyable

LaDonna enjoy your book and whatever you choose to eat tonight to welcome Randy home My laundry is done, and I ran the vacuum. That's it for me for today Carl is out mowing our lawn. After he showers, we may go out for a bit....or just stay put. I'll leave the decision making up to him. Later

Mother Nature is at it again. Just came back from taking LuLa across the street when it turned pitch black and the wind picked up. Luckily she was done her business and we ran under the carport. Just made it before a loud clap of thunder and pouring rain and hail!!! Now the sun is out but we can still hear thunder. No rain in sight. Lol Audrey. Roll with it Guess we'll spend a relaxing day at home.

I'm back from my workshop, ETV (e-tools voucher) in hand - a "squeaker" this month but I'll take it gratefully after a week that included some indulgences but mostly sodium-laden Food The Unknown on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday. Too much drama for my weary brain already! The workshop had its moments (and yet-another meditation - how does THAT make me FEEL?!?!). When I came home, Toots started his haircut (buzz) and the wire on the clipper was frayed and gave up after he'd only done 1/3 of his fuzzy li'l head. Granted, he has to leave here at 3 PM, but this was at 11-ish, ferPete'Sake. So I texted MissMouse, who was already planning to come over at some point and pick up a Roku and wi-fi extender that she'd given to Toots but he couldn't get it connected. She has two sets of clippers, one of which is the same model we have. The haircut's all done and so is Toots' shower. Then the two of them started talking about the Roku, which was intended to be used on our LR TV, the one by my computer. The two TVs at the back of the house (LR and our BR) are not on the cable and have been on digital converter boxes instead, so only basic channels. Now my LR TV has her Roku until tomorrow; apparently we are going out to buy our own (hers are linked to her cable account so while we can use them, it's not the best for long-term). So I can watch cable channels while I'm on my computer, which does have its advantages. According to Toots, it's my birthday present <eh???>. Our dinner meal was mid-day: chicken breast with gravy, brown rice & green beans for Toots and mushrooms, onions & green beans for me. He'll have supper at the buffet and I will figure something out - shrimp in a tossed salad comes to mind. The gig's at McLoone's on the Asbury Park boardwalk (Susi will know where that is: www.timmcloonessupperclub.com/) and ends at 10 PM so he won't be out super-late - a birthday party for a dude older than we are, LOL. I've got a load of laundry done and will do some August bookkeeping. Then there's NASCAR (Watkins Glen NY) at 3:30. And Midsomer Murders tonight. And I'm only responsible for ME for the rest of the day.
