Audrey Good save by Bob on the Weber grill.Steak and salads sound good to me.Have a good day at the beach.
Cathy Great goals.
Thanks Susi.I am doing just that today. Not pushing the knee.Enjoy the track picnic and great goals for handling the foods.
Ann I hope you have a relaxing day.We went to our local HEB this morning and while it was crowded it's a much smaller one than the HEB Plus we went to yesterday. It is understandable why yesterday wasn't a good tracking day.
MJ I'm glad the YM event was enjoyable.I'm sure you are tired.
June Thanks. My knees still hurt but I'm able to rest then some this afternoon.Continued prayers for you and Richard.I hope everything works out for his upcoming surgery.Truer words were never spoken.Eating is the one thing we can control.
LaDonna Good for you getting a walk in.I'm sure Randy will be as happy to see you as you will be to have him back home. Thanks for the good wishes on my knees.
Ann You must be in a rainy pattern.I wish we could get in one. It's been 55 days since Central TX has had any good soaking rain and only a trace was measured in July.
MJ Congrats on another free month.I'm glad MM was able to finish Toots haircut for him.
I am tired today so will try to relax some but still have things to do.Have a good day all.

Pray for El Paso, Texas. Just read there was a shoot-out at a Walmart, allegedly 18 dead, not confirmed --- some children.

OMG Bee.I haven't heard about that.Unfortunately on weekends we get no local news from 8:00 until 6:00 at night.
I just turned the TV to Fox News and they have one person in custody. There were shots in multiple locations at the El Paso mall so they don't know if there are others involved. It was reported to start in the Walmart parking lot.
Prayers for all of El Paso. They are asking everyone to stay home since they aren't saying the shootings are over.

Just so sad.
In my own town last night, 4 guys talking after they left a bar, get into an argument, one shot dead and the other three just drove away.
There seems to be no honor for anything anymore in our country.

Bee It is so sad indeed. It's getting worse and worse as our days go on.
They just said at least 17 injured and are calling it a mass shooting so I don't know how many died. They put people in those hot storage containers for 20 minutes to protect them until the employees knew it was safe to come out.

The kids went to the berry farm and petting zoo in Avila Beach. They brought back delicious raspberries. Bob, Lily Belle and I walked to Cayucos on Pacific Street whose houses border the beach. There are old homes and multimillion dollar remodels. Each is different so fun to look at. We had lunch at the beautiful outdoor garden at Lunada. Unfortunately I left my phone at home. My husband had a Thai shrimp salad and I had a shredded duck salad with quinoa, cranberries, blue cheese, cabbage, romaine, tomatoes and a raspberry vinaigrette on the side. The walk home was harder than the walk there. MJ, we use our DDIL’s account for streaming. I need to watch on the family room tv because sitting at the computer is too tiring for me.

Bee, I will look for news on the Internet. Like Becky, our weekend news begins on 6 pm. There is Fiesta Days going on this weekend in Santa Barbara. After the Gilroy shooting I am surprised it wasn’t canceled. It is all outdoors with thousands of people.

Kitchen has been cleaned, dishes are done and a few purchases have been made. Even the car’s gas tank is full. Meals have been planned and tracked. I’m keeping hydrated as the temps rise and I’m moving intentionally as I relax in the cool.
Sending positive vibes to all those in El Paso.

Deeply saddened by another mass shooting. . . It's overwhelming. Prayers to all those who were touched by this tragedy.

Twenty people are dead and 23 injured at last report. It is indeed sad when parents don't know of a safe place to go with their children.
This is neither here nor there but he is not from El Paso. There is supposedly a manifesto they got from his house so hate crime???Not known yet.
