Good morning Kathy and AWF. I'm feeling a tad under the weather today. Have tummy issues. The ginger tea is helping, though. Today will be spent passing out the 'goodies' that we made to friends around town. With any luck we'll have just a FEW for ourselves! Wishing all a wonderful Monday!

Good morning, everyone...I read the posts when we drug in last night, but of course, now can't remember anything! Suffice it to say that I need to get busy and will hopefully be able to do a real visit in a couple of days.
Happy Birthday to me! (Will you still need me? Will you still feed me? When I'm *64*....guess I'll find out!)
We had such a good time last night, how lucky I feel. Dana's dinner was delicious, I was one slice Kathy (but it wasn't a big one, LOL) just so many laughs and shared stories. I wasn't raised with a lot of laughter and love and this feels like a *3rd Act* gift to feel so loved.
I'm going to absolutely get everything in my car that I can squeeze and just take one trip today, try to hit a grocery down there and get some stuff in the frig, and hopefully Jeremy and I will be able to get the last clothing rack assembled. I'm definitely a bit anxious now trying to figure out what is still to do, but just need to move these feet and get going!
Have a good one!
(Oh no, Ann....feel better! My tummy definitely did not like the fancier food I had last night, so hopefully, no more food celebrations for me either!)

Happy Birthday, Kathy...and yes we will still both NEED and FEED you!!!!!!!
I do have a funny thing to share re: that song....I do have good 'ears'. That being said, I always thought they were saying will you still need me will you still feed me, when I'm 6 foot 4!!!!! Could NEVER understand that one LOL.
Glad you had a great dinner. LOL to one LARGE slice Kathy....definitely a gal after my own heart!
Hope the move today goes smoothly. You are almost to the finish line!

Happy Birthday, Kathy. I didn't realize you are also a December baby. No wonder I feel like we are kindred spirits. A lot of the things you say could have come from my mouth. I am glad you are feeling loved. Sometimes knowing someone loves you and feeling that love are two different things. We'll have to have a virtual party after you get moved in.
Ann, I hope the tummy troubles go away quickly. I had those after my birthday dinner. The food was way too rich. I was laughing at your interpretation of the Beatles's lyrics.
Waving hello to AWF and hope all are feeling well.
I am making a chili for Iggy today. He had to fast for blood work so he will be ready for it come lunch time. We have to go restock our salt supplies some time today. Hopefully, we won't have to go to too many places to find it. Today is just going to be a strength and stretch day. I feel like that is what I need physically today.

Good Morning, WW friends ~
Happy Monday!! We have a frigid morning with single digits and RF below zero. I am definitely counting on an indoor recess today. I am not scheduled to go out until the last recess (with Kindergarten and 1st grade) but I know it is too cold.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Kathy ☆¸.•°*”˜˜”*•.¸☆★☆¸.•°*”˜☆
Kathy ~ Yes, we will still need you and feed you and love you. Hope you have a fabulous day!! So happy that your move will soon be over. Then comes the unpacking and settling in. Seems you've mentioned that you have unpacked and put away things as you took them over - am I remembering correctly?? Take care out there.
Ann ~ So sorry to hear about your tummy woes. Such a drag! I have to add my vote to whenever I eat "rich" foods (translate to things we don't usually eat) I suffer for it afterward. That makes the indulgences not quite as much fun, and I have found over time that I have decreased them.
Chele ~ It is definitely chili weather. Are you having the same cold that we are? Looked like on the Weather Channel it was coming all the way up from south of St. Louis so I suspect you are. GFY in sticking to doing what your body needs today.
Waving hello to Judy, Carolyn, Kathryn and AWF today .... I am getting ready for school, then off to meet a friend for lunch then back home to catch up on a few more things. We are meeting DH's VBF for supper tonight (just the 3 of us without kids) so that will be fun.
BBL. Make a great day!!

Happy belated bday, Chele. Sorry I missed it!!!!! I need to pay more attention. My tummy is feeling better. The ginger tea and ginger ale really helped. I 'think' it was from having too many servings of nuts! Those really bother me as I do have diverticulosis and SHOULD know better....I need to lay off for awhile. Rich foods also do me in!
Sue I don't blame you for voting on the indoor recess. Why go out in that weather when you don't have to!
I must get a move on and go deliver those goodies that are calling my name.....
Will try to pop in later. It seemed to take me forever to get into the site this time around!

Happy Birthday, Kathy. Yes, we’ll still love you- I’ll even make you some cyber Sticky Ginger Cake for the celebration!!!
Ann, hope you’re feeling better soon. Ginger tea does usually help with tummy issues so hoping you’re improving already.
Chele, yum on the chili! We’re having it today also! Happy December birthday to you, Chele!
Sue, here’s hoping no recess for your benefit. Our schools are already out for the holidays this week.
Today we woke up to 17 degrees here in the Hill Country of Texas, but it’s sunny and no wind so in about an hour I’ll get Emma out for a walk. Yesterday when it was 24, cloudy, and windy, our walk was SHORT! I was bundled up, but I thought my face was going to get frostbite! LOL We’re not used to cold, cloudy, and windy all on the same day in Texas! We’re planning a camping trip the week after Christmas so I’m in plan mode for that trip. Where we’re going has wonderful hikes so really excited!
Waving HI to all who follow!

link--I found out it doesn't work. Well, I am humming along to Ringo as he sings....so much for my techno-skills!!! Sorry!!!
Kathy, Happy Birthday! If the link above works, you can listen to Ringo sing his birthday song to you. It's one of my favorite Beatle's songs and we just sang it to a friend last week for her birthday, too! Not sure if it'll work, but I hope so. Your dinner sounds lovely with Bradana. Among all her other talents, your DDIL can cook, and I am so glad you have so much love and warmth and appreciation around you. You deserve every bit of it! Will we still feed you, will we still need you? YES!
I'm off to a ....gasp...cookie swap at 3:30 at work. I will forgo the cookies but I did bring a stash. Ann and I were talking about it on the board yesterday.
Carolyn, I just started Hold Still and I can't put it down. It's a great memoir and I am going to suggest it for book club for next month. Love, love it so far. Sally Mann is a wonderful writer! I only have a short while to read it so I interrupted the other good one I love to read it.
I am tired today--I slept well but I guess the busyness of the season is catching up. I just want to be home relaxing about now.
Chele, happy December birthday to you, too. When is your big day? I hope Iggy is recovered from that harrowing flight. My colleague was stuck in Newark on Thursday/Friday for 35 hours! Oh, the fun of flying these days.
Ann, sorry about the tummy issues. Ginger does the trick for sure. Aren't you sweet to deliver all the goodies to friends! Italian cookies? My favorites!
Kathryn, I had no idea that it was so chilly in the hill country of TX. 17 sounds like around here! Stay warm!
Sue- wow, that means we are due for that cold, cold weather soon. Hope you had a fun lunch with your friend. Hope you had inside recess, too! :-)
Waving to Carolyn, Act and all the others.
I shall return...

9 degrees when I got up this morning!! For some reason, my Fitbit was no longer connecting to my computer. Was to my cell phone, just not to the computer. A good day to mess with it. Contacted Service, and we eventually (an hour) got it rehooked up. Had tp totally uninstall, then reinstall. BUT, starting from 0. Add, it messed up my cell's, so had to uninstall that as well. That was at least easy. Was NOT a good day to have the great grandson. He learned some new phrases!!
