Day 35 Get Ready to Weigh In
This is another day about getting ready to weigh in. Weโve been through this a number of times during the review plus a lot of us have years of experience monitoring our weight.
Have you gotten to the point where your scale number is just that, a number with no emotional or judgmental baggage?

I still react to my number especially if it is creeping upwards which it has been doing lately.

Since I weigh daily I try not to react negatively every day.I have a reaction maybe briefly if I gain but try not to let it affect my day because there is always the reset button and tomorrow.

When I was in one-derland I had a positive reaction everyday, because wow! But up this high... not so much. Though I am trying to focus on the decades and my morning WI is slipping into the teens! Hooray! I'm hoping for a good WI tomorrow. I have an official morning WI on Sunday.

The number on the scale is just a number BUT that number can put a smile on my face when it is lower and make me less than happy with MYSELF (not the scale) when it is up and I know WHY it is up. Then I either eat more than I should or buckle down and get back OP. My goal is still to get to onederland before the end of the year and know it is doable if I do what I need to do to get there!

I don't think I will ever be totally unemotional about the number on the scale each morning. There is always a slight "yay" when the number goes lower. I am getting better at being happy at staying the same from day to day, and knowing that any gains at this point have proven to be temporary and knowing that I will be able to address it.

I think it's normal to have an up and down relationship with the number on the scale if one has been dealing with weight issues. When the number goes down, I feel elated, confident, and proud of the work I'm doing. When it stays the same I tell myself this is what maintaining is like and it WILL go down if I stay OP. But when it goes up I feel like shit. I have to review what I did wrong, and ask myself why I did that knowing it would likely show up on the scale.

Hello everyone,
I lost .6 this week. ๐
I do weigh myself self every morning. It goes up and down all week. So I donโt get excited over the lower number until it sticks for a while.
