MONDAY MINDSET... You know the one...
I'll restart on MONDAY...
I'll get back on track MONDAY...
New week - new outlook - starts MONDAY...
Well my friends... IT IS MONDAY! What habit(s) will you begin again today???
Will it be WATER/LIQUIDS?? How many ounces do you drink on a "normal" day?? Will it be activity/exercise?? What will you do TODAY to get some activity into your Monday?? Will it be tracking/journaling?? How often do you track? Where do you track??
Let's see what we can do TODAY/MONDAY to get the ball rolling!
I will resume my water/liquids... and I will journal, and try to make time to track on MFP...I didn't get salads done yesterday/last night - so my lunch options are limited, but I will figure out a day of healthier eating! Oh tonight we have zucchini lasagna - not "healthy" (IMHO) due to the cheeses in it - but no carbs? No pasta... so there is that! Breakfast will be a protein shake or bar - and snacks will be limited to veggies and fruit, and almonds.
So I let myself sleep in a bit today - only 20 minutes, but let's see if I can catch up before I have to move it... DAy from Hell Part 3 ♥

Gabrielle: Only 76 degrees?? WOW What a cool down for you guys! Sounds like a nice Sunday for you yesterday - quiet day - but DS25 and DM coming over. So do we know how Kate did on her exams last week?? When might she know?? Since her exams - is she taking time "off"? Has she found a job yet? I bet she was very grateful that you helped Ty get the apartment set up!
LOL Oh yeah, I did have the raised spot on my arm - but I get that every month when I get my allergy injections - so I don't count that as a side effect of the drug... but more the needled itself?!
Actually it was Jaclyn that brought Ancestry to US! She has been very curious about her father for a long time. She knew of one brother in NY - (her Aunt knew his mother) but he had zero interest in knowing any 1/2 siblings... so Shawn finding her - was so much nicer. She wasn't the one reaching out. The father, Pablo, is very interested in his grandchildren... specifically wants to meet them... (he met DBShawn's oldest Friday night) - I wonder if he realizes NOW all he missed with Shawn & Jaclyn all those years - and wants to be more part of the grandkids lives... if that makes any sense... of course I have no idea - and no clue if we will ever meet... I am not getting in the middle of any of it! LOL For once I will sit back and let Jaclyn tell me what she wants/expects!
It is fun to hear them enjoying the pool - I was out with them Friday night, just not in the pool... I let them swim by themselves Saturday - 20 minutes - I sat on the deck "watching"... but yes they loved the lights.

53 degrees here - expecting upper 80s today I think. I'll take it as long as we can get it... I will make time to sit outside during break and lunch, Yes.I.Will.!
So Ken will have Zoë today - Tracy will be home this morning - but will likely sleep a better part of the day! She worked 10P - 6A today, so will try to go to bed when she gets here I'm sure. So I am not expecting much to get "done" around here today - Ken will be busy "watching" Zoë! LOL But it's OK... he doesn't do it often - and she does love her Grampa time... whatever he does do - she will most likely be right there to "help"!
Yesterday was a good day - but tiring... and I was asleep by 9 last night - apparently Zoë & Grampa were still up at 10! LOL She would NOT settle down...
OK Gotta go flip some laundry and get myself moving... make it a GOOD MONDAY MINDSET Ladies... We've.Got.This.!
♥hugs♥

Morning Carole and all to come...
Need to gather lots of produce to bring to work....finally have a couple cantaloupes to sell! Don't need lunch today since there is the birthday lunch! I have to bring Chex Mix....hey, it's easy and I'm all for easy today!
Really humid and sticky today....supposed to break mid-week and get some warm, drier weather later in the week....hopefully we won't be dodging rain drops for "corn day"....looking like Wednesday or Thursday!
See you all after work!

Good morning!
Had a nice dinner with DM and DS25 here--- a nice, calm Sunday evening. It did warm up to 100 degrees as the day went on, but the cool morning was nice! The bike ride was fun too--went with two other couples. Rode for 26 miles and it counted as 238 steps on my fitbit...LOL. That thing's not made for biking! I was feeling a little sore this morning so will give my body the time to rest and run on the "cushy" treadmill later today at the gym (before I get home). --that is my Monday mindset item for today!
Carole: Sounds like a nice weekend---and glad that Zoe got some grandpa time (although he must be exhausted!) So glad that you got to bed at 9:00--that must have felt great! How about that---I was thinking that it was your kids who started the ancestry searching--well, good for Jaclyn! Yes, sounds like this could really lead to some nice relationships as time goes on (and I agree-wise to stay out of it!). DS25 is flying at midnight on Tuesday out to Boston to help Katelyn do the final packing and then they fly back on their final exit from Boston on Saturday. She's had a job since February (a job offer) here in Sacramento and that is how they were able to commit to moving back. Unbelievably, she won't find out how she did on the exam until November.....I am amazed at how long it takes. If she doesn't pass, she has another chance in February but, of course, we are all hoping for a pass this first time (in CA, only 30% pass the first time on average). Sorry that you don't have salad for today, but sounds like you have a good plan. I was wondering if you would treat yourself to one from the place across the street from work? I have lettuce washed so it will only take about 10 min to make one this morning--I am not as organized as you to have them done the night before! Do you still make the jar salads? I still wonder about that (never really did it). Hope that you have a good day today!

Sue: Hearing you talk about the difference between a ripe cantaloupe and what you get in the store made me realize that I don't think I have ever had a "ripe" cantaloupe! I need to try it one of these days! I think that they have them at the farmer's market, but I just haven't had them. Sounds like a nice day at work--lunch provided and time to celebrate? Hope that you have a good day.
Hello to all who follow....this week actually looks like a week to get some things done (if I am smart and structured with my work time) so that is my goal for the week--to not let other people's demands of my schedule drag me off task. I hope to make my WW meeting tomorrow at lunch (since I missed yesterday for the bike ride) and I need to start some SERIOUS lists of what DS19 needs to take with him to Eugene. I feel like I am on countdown for that move and intentionally dragging my feet as I kind of dread it. I am really going to miss him! Okay, need to go. See you all later!

Good morning all! I am getting excited about the wedding and hopefully a mini-vacation! We leave tomorrow afternoon after Greg gets off work. I got my pedi this morning-navy to match the wedding colors. Next is to sort out my clothes and for Greg to do the same. I also need to look at money/cash to take. I haven't cancelled the rental car yet and I am not sure why I am feeling weird about that. Do I really not trust my car??
Carole-I try to get at least 64 ounces in at minimum a day. I took a short bike ride this morning and it was quite pleasant. I would like to have 53 in the morning. Trying to get my mindset for the trip.
Sue-sounds like the garden is producing! It is sticky here too but not so bad in the early morning.
Gabrielle-sounds like a great bike ride. Oh yes, those lists for moving kids...I remember those days! I hope that you have the productive week that you want!
I am probably going to be MIA for awhile or just popping in to say hello. But I am not going to go crazy on food and drink on the trip, just hope to try some new non-chain places. Fingers crossed for no wedding drama, and the mindset I referred to earlier is basically love, so hopefully can put out any fires in a graceful way.
Off to look at the wardrobe to be packed...!

Hey all. It’s 10:30 but wanted to stop in and say hi!!! Today seemed crazy. Yesterday I had a flat tire and we had to change it at work. So today I called the tire shop and asked them to come and pick it up. They finally showed up around 5 and I still had work to do so I finished up and by the time I was ready to go it was back. It seemed really busy today. We trained 2 new ppl. I think I have some good ones this time. After I got home I got around and changed into some walking clothes. Finally around 7:30 or so I started my walk. Got 2.5 in again today. Thinking of trying to do a little bit of running intervals I did for a little bit towards the end. I was really needing to get it done.
Well I’m finally getting some exercises now to start tracking and drinking more water in. Carole you always do so good on your water I don’t know how you do it. Several of you guys track your food pretty good. I wish I could learn from your examples. I think I’m a lost cause when it comes to tracking!!!
Next week we start trading a new closing manager!!!! Yay!!!!! I really hope she stays for a while. I do not want to go through another manager. It seems like the past year and a half has been so hard. I’m ready for some normalcy.
Well I really hope to check in earlier tomorrow. See you all soon I need to get to bed. 5 am comes way to early
