Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.x
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning all,
Ruth - so glad you were able to see the graduation. Glad it's starting to warm up too.
We should get another couple of inches of snow today, but they said after that we should be done for the week. So far there should be no snowfall on Christmas making it a good travel weekend. Hope that forecast sticks.
Today starts my 4 days of working extra hours. Then a 3-day weekend - woohoo!!! I'll take it.
Bought a turkey dinner at grocery store last night to take to work today. The girl working there used to be a cashier that I got along with very well. She put enough food in the container for 2 huge dinners, and maybe a sandwich too. Repackaged them so I can grab for work. Tomorrow is the luncheon.
No major CBing this week. Just keeping things in order.
Prayers for all in need.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning CB'ers. Sawyer day today. I'm sure she'll come with laundry and that will keep me busy. I'll try to wrap some presents too. And I have a new small Christmas Christmas tree decorated with all Wild hockey team ornaments. Sawyer hasn't seen that and I'm sure it will fascinate her! To be mid-20's today, a big change! Have a great day all.

Joyce, sounds like you had a good day, hope you enjoyed your dinner out. The Amvets pickup after the holidays gives you time to add to the pile. There won’t be a “white” Christmas for us, it is supposed to stay clear but cold nights. Your turkey dinners sound good, and a good deal.
Jill, glad to see you stop in. Take care of yourself.
Ruth, nice to be able to watch the live screen of your DD. I’m sure it wasn’t the same as being there but at least you could watch her on her big day. Getting her masters is a big deal and I’m sure you and your DH are proud of her achievement. Your hockey tree sounds cute, I’m sure Sawyer will enjoy seeing it.
Yesterday got away from me. I haven’t had a full night’s sleep in over a week and it is beginning to take a toll on me. I think it is a combination of getting ready for the party on Christmas Eve and also getting ready to leave a few days after Christmas for the drive down to Florida. I looked at a long-range (10 day) forecast and the temps are supposed to be above normal, during the days, for the drive down. Of course, we all know that can change. Yesterday we had free tickets to see Rick Springfield at the casino about 45 min. from the house. We did have 6 inches of snow on Sat. and on the drive to the casino it was in the low 50s so a lot of the snow was melting. My main concern was black ice on the way home but everything was ok. I forgot how loud a rock concert can be but we enjoyed it and of course the price was right. DH already vacuumed the whole house. I plan on washing the kitchen floor when he leaves, he is going to our DS#2s house and then out to lunch with some of the other retirees. I will also probably take a nap, but not too long so I hopefully sleep tonight.
