Sounds like a good plan, June!
I am not sure yet what I can do tomorrow, but I am going to do it WILLINGLY and AWARE.
Gonna make myself consciously remember to consume more water and less coffee.

Great goals June. We are going back to Ember for dinner but will eat less than last time. Yesterday I walked Lily Belle in the morning and Bob and I did take a good beach walk. She is not a beach girl which is just as well or Iβd have to deal with a sandy dog in a rental. Today Bob has a 9:30 phone call so Iβll walk Lily Belle then. If we go out to lunch it will be nearby since we leave at 4 for Ember. The problem is traffic. Three lanes on Highway 1 decrease to 2 going south and it is so slow.

I am within four pounds of onederland. The last few days of being OP and tracking has me moving toward the goal again. I have my Wednesday get together today and the hostess said she is making three salads and bruschetta-tomatoes on bread. I am taking figs. My plan is to determine what is in the salads then eat moderately. Fingers crossed momentum on the down to goal weight won't be derailed today.
MJ: Busy as usual, it seems, happy busy I hope your son and dil have a splendid anniversary celebration. Hooray for good scan results so far!
LADONNA: I have never done an online food order. Some say it eliminates spur of the moment purchases. I am guessing it would require pre-planning meals and that is not my forte. Closer to onederland than I have been in a LONG time. I need to remain focused while with friends today!
SUSI: Sounds like a fun job you have. Many romances I have read in the past center around resorts and such. Do they stay open year round?
JUNE: My daughter is in the midst of preparing to teach new courses this year. Many times they are repeat courses and requirements but she has picked up some new topics. Not sure if they are in her department or interdepartmental. She is not looking forward to returning to campus...or maybe she is? Your day sounded intense. Glad you were not swamped by it all! What did you end up having at Panera?
ANN: Glad you slept well. The summer of 69. Is that the book the movie was made from long ago or a new book?
BECKY & BEE: Waving from afar
AUDREY: I have looked at white bean recipes. Last night I made an avocado, bean, tomato, lettuce salad and it was okay BUT the beans overpowered the avocado. Will try something else next time...perhaps a pasta salad with beans or a bean burger or bean balls. I have no idea what summer of 69 is as a book but remember a movie with a young boy who becomes a widow of a beautiful older woman...during a summer...probably not the same book. It sounds like you have great restaurant options where you live.
Okay...it WILL be a good day!

DivaTaxi did its morning run in the deluge. Now we are off-duty until YM at 5:30 PM. It's going to be a wild-weather day; I'm so glad that today is NOT our day for Jenkinsons (that's tomorrow). I do need to get to the library and to ShopRite, but we can time our trips to miss the storm cells.
Coffee... βββ... breakfast...

Good morning
Bee j Not sure why, but drinking water seems to be one of those simple actions, but. . . Good for you for making the commitment today when coffee is calling your name.
Audrey Eating 1/2 of a restaurant meal is a great strategy.
Wonderful that you are enjoying the cooler temperature, long walks, and fav restaurants. Oh... I never even thought about LB being covered w/ sand after a walk. Hope that your rental has a great vacuum!
Becky Hope the extra rest today helps. Can think of a couple advantages of having a smaller fridge and frequent shopping for small quantities. You probably waste less food, especially produce. One WW member use to declare that her vegetable buns are where produce goes to die.
Cathy So exciting that Onderland is getting closer and closer for you. Can " hear" how much you want to reach that goal. You have a great plan for today's gathering. Nice that the hostess is offering a variety of salads. Perfect solution-- sharing your bounty of delicious figs.
Yes, Monday was a crazy day. Am giving thanks for the fact that many days-- even right now--are not like Monday.

Mj Nice that you have a day for running errands and what not. Hope that those detailed weather forecast and good old common sense to time errands enable you to stay dry.
Great story about your avatar!

cathygeha Summer of 69 is a best seller here in the States. It is by Elin Hildebrand. Itβs about a family with 4 children. The son is drafted, the mother drinks too much, her first husband died after returning from the military and her second husband, a Jewish lawyer, is not accepted by the grandmother named Exalta, who is upper class and queen of the family. The three girls are distinctly different. So it is light reading.

Thanks for the book review, Audrey. I just checked and I am #333 on 10 copies. It will be awhile before I get it, but that's okay. I have plenty of reading material to keep me occupied.
It's extremely hot and humid here. We are in for weather, but so far it hasn't hit! Perfect day to stay put now that the errands are all done and over with.
Keep cool all!
